Sputnik · 21/09/2008 17:44

DD wore sleepsuits til she was gone two, however I have developed popper fatigue and Baby Sputnik is now a pj wearer.

LittleMissNorty · 21/09/2008 18:24

Ahhh PJs look so sweet.....we have a mixture here depending on the weather.

We have just got back from the hopsital ....I had a bleed for no reason at all....but all is OK with baby who started kicking soon after arrival. Got to go back tomorrow for anti-D injection

God it was very odd being back in the labour ward....last time I was there............

Bumperlicious · 21/09/2008 18:30

Oh norty, very scary! Hope all is ok . Do you still have to have anti-D? Do you have to have it with each baby?

Sputnik, Primark does big fleecy ones with zips for £3! Let me know if you want any and I can send you some.

LittleMissNorty · 21/09/2008 19:13

Yeah I'm fine. Yes have to have anti-D routinely at 28 and 34 weeks - did with DD - and with any trauma or unexplained bleeding....hence my trip tomorrow....hate it...the injection farking hurts!

Might have to do a trip to primark...£3 you say....

Bumperlicious · 21/09/2008 19:25

Yep £3, they are fab. When the weather gets cold dd is going to wear them with pjs as she isn't using a sleeping bag any more.

I had to have anti D, it does frigging hurt! Just take things easy won't you.

LackaDAISYcal · 21/09/2008 19:46

Sounds a bit scary norty, but glad all is well with the baby! My SIL had unexplained bleeding until about 20 weeks with her twins, and then it just stopped. They think it was a bruise between the uterus and the placenta.

DD has been in pjs over the summer, shorty ones, but as it's colder she is in babygros again. I love seeing her padding about in her all-in-ones trailing a teddy, like Wendy's little brother in Peter Pan.

LackaDAISYcal · 21/09/2008 19:49

bumper, do you need to have pjs under those fleece all in ones as well? I have always steered away from them as I'm paranoid about overheating.

Hope something comes up for DH soon.

OP posts:
Bumperlicious · 21/09/2008 19:54

I would when it is cold, we have massive non-double-glazed windows, and like I said, she's not in a sleeping bag any more and rarely sleeps under a blanket. Does that sound really bad?

Ohforfoxsake · 21/09/2008 20:08

Hope you are Ok Norty! glad things are alright, do they have any idea what caused it? Must have been scary.

LackaDAISYcal · 21/09/2008 20:09

no, not bad at all! sounds like a good solution to the too hot/too cold dilemma.

I have a friend who used them, but just as pjs, maybe with a vest underneath. I suppose it depends how cold your house is and the blanket or no blanket thing.

oooh, DH is just back with supplies. He was despatchd to get me some "nice chocolates" and a big bag of minstrels incase the "nice" chocs aren't to my taste .

OP posts:
LittleMissNorty · 21/09/2008 20:35

Chocolate sounds good Daisy

No clues were given as to cause.....they checked my cervix was closed and could see no evidence of a bleed (sorry if TMI)....tbh I was pretty calm (expcept throwing up in hospital carpark and bursting into tears in front of midwife ) and they were all fab with me....as soon as I felt the kicks I was fine. Just one of those things huh?

God this golf is exciting AND City are on the tele next Sunday

LackaDAISYcal · 21/09/2008 20:37

oooh, I got some Thornton's classic collection

and a big bag of mistrels

OP posts:
Ohforfoxsake · 21/09/2008 20:37

Hey, City won 6 - 0. That must make you feel better

LackaDAISYcal · 21/09/2008 20:38

Can you take a few days to rest up Norty? or am I being too over-protective?

OP posts:
Ohforfoxsake · 21/09/2008 20:39

mmmmmmMinstrels. Yum.

LittleMissNorty · 21/09/2008 20:40

I'm fine - pretty difficult to rest with a 15 month old - as you know Daisy . I'll go to work on tuesday for my rest

DH said to me in hospital "god what a day for it to happen"....closely followed by "only cos I start my new job tomorrow you know....nothing to do with the golf" ....got in at 5.45pm so didn't miss too much

LittleMissNorty · 21/09/2008 20:42

Oh I love Thorntons

LackaDAISYcal · 21/09/2008 20:48

I buy Sainsbury's own buttons...three bags for a pound, for the children you understand.......and then they never see any of them

FrazzledFairyFay · 21/09/2008 20:54
