I know re mobile that's what we thoughtAnd yes I will be going to the school tomorrow.

Doobydoo · 04/09/2008 22:39

Going to be off line for a while as dp is doing something complicated with computer.Just so you know I am not ignoring you all.xx

Pisha · 04/09/2008 22:44

I didnt think they were allowed to be left alone? I do hope you can get it sorted out 1 way or another. I really feel for you and him, I'd be livid and just distraught if it were me as Im sure you are. Some kids can just be so horrible cant they?

Sorry prob not really helping you feel better here am I?!

I am having my own worries or mild concerns really re my DS1 atm. He is just so tired all the time, had thought it was just school but carried on all through hols and its such a huge change from how he was before. Took him to dr today and have to take him hospital for blood tests tomorrow. I expect its nothing but thought it best to get it checked as it is so different to how he normally is or was a few months ago

AngeG · 04/09/2008 22:46

Evening All

Just got back from being waxed! Thought I'd pop in and see how you all are.

So pleased DS first day was good Oooggs and the scan was good! I thought you weren't going to find out the sex? I don't think I'd be able to keep the secret!

Glad you had a good time Liath and GM.

Sorry about DS Dooby . Hope you manage to sort things out for him at school.

Hello Pisha - Long time no see. Glad things are ok with you. Have you moved yet?

Did I miss POTC coming back yesterday to tell us about Justin?

Hello SPB

Bramshott - Glad N went to school ok! Good luck listening to readers with O there as well. I would love to do something like that in J's school, but wouldn't relish the task with whirlwind Izzy there as well!

Hello Lexi - Looking forward to the report back on the gorgeous man in B&Q!

Dippy - When does K start school? How are you feeling about it now?

SOL - Don't blame you buying a cardi to keep warm, it's autumn already

Runny - How old is DS? Is he looking forward to school?

We've been to the Swindon outlet shopping centre today. Bought some lovely clothes for Izzy in pumpkin patch and a top for me in Next...I love shopping

Hope everyone ok and a big hello to anyone I've missed!

Night night xx

Pisha · 04/09/2008 22:51

Waxed?! At this time of night??

Date for moving is hopefully 19th but not confirmed yet. I am planning as if it is then though, I have so much crap!!

AngeG · 04/09/2008 22:53

X posts

I agree with Pisha can't believe she leaves the room to answer her phone. That's so unprofessional! Hope you give them what for speak to them tomorrow Dooby.

Hope DS is ok Pisha. I can understand you being worried. Hope blood tests go ok tomorrow.

AngeG · 04/09/2008 22:55

Fingers crossed for 19th then Pisha.

Yes waxed at this time of night. My friend has just trained and is working from home, so she fits us in whenever, bless her!

Sexonlegs · 05/09/2008 07:51

Morning all.

Ange, lovely to see you

Dooby, absolutely outraged on your behalf. I assume you are going to say something. What an utter shame. I really am so sorry for your ds and you. xx

Pisha, long time no see. Sounds like you have had your hands full indeed.
Funny you should be having issues re N. B was exhausted at the end of last term and had a virus/tummy bug. She never really shook the cold off over the Summer and has had a horrid cough. She went back on Wednesday and after 2 days is pale, tired and had a runny bum yesterday evening.
Maybe I should take her to the docs??

Anyway, better go. Feeling in an utterly shitty mood today. Have already shouted and thrown keys across the room! Turned my face away when dh went to kiss me and he told me that is the way to the divorce court!

StealthPolarBear · 05/09/2008 08:16

dooby that's awful, your poor ds, hoped you get it sorted out.
pisha i was wondering where you were yesterday, glad you're back, are you staying? i remember you saying about n just before he left school last year - do you think he's feeling overwhelmed still?
Why a bad mood sol? hope things ok.
T has turned into a real daddy's boy, just had a huge tantrum when dh left struggling to cheer him up

CaptainDippy · 05/09/2008 08:40

Buzzing by, still need to dress P....

Good to "see" you Pisha Hope all goes ok with house move and with DS1 and dr - hope they find a way to help him, poor mite. Is he taking vits etc? xx

Glad all went well with scan oooggs

Poor Ds Dooby That is terrible. Are you going to speak to the school?

Best go and dress P, will be back later when DD2 safely installed in pre-school and P safely installed in bed xx

Things are a bit mad here....

we got a new puppy 2 days ago.....and will be getting a new pony tomorrow!

kids have all strated their new schools, which so far seem to be going well

old boss being an arse and hasn't paid us yet but new one is lovely!

CaptainDippy · 05/09/2008 11:25

Yey!! Caz is back!!!! [grin

Erm. No idea what to say about life in DippyLand since you were last here. Things just tick on as normal, really. No major news. DD1 starts school on 22nd, sob. DD2 is enjoying being back at pre-school as a "big rising 5" P is gorgeous, walking now and sprouting teeth AT LAST ... two bottoms ones through and 2 top ones coming. She's so stoic I haven't been particularly well, dr thinks it is my gall bladder, but not sure Keep getting colds and feeling sick and dizzy, but better than I was. Probably just run down, I reckon. Work's going ok for myself & DH, house still a source of un-ending frustration. Blah, blah, blah ... haven't been away this summer, too busy enjoying the gorgeous British weather

What kind of pony are you getting!!? to old boss, to new boss. Hope the house is ok and you are all dandy!

Leaky's pregnant!!!!!!

Welcome back caz and hi Dippy
No news here really, all same as always, but without the runny bottom (T not me)

elkiedee · 05/09/2008 13:10

Good to see Caz and Pisha back, hope ds is ok Pisha, and good luck with the move. Sorry can't respond to everyone now, not really time. Last night I went to a meeting after work and then had a disastrous "journey" home - my tube line shuts early for repairs in the evenings and I could cut out two dodgy 10 minute walks at either end by getting a bus home, so I thought. Bus normally every 10-12 minutes. Waited 30 mins, first bus on right route stopped about halfway home, so waited for another half hour. Then my bus when it finally came kicked everyone off onto another bus halfway (fortunately no more waiting and I think bus driver must have accepted that asking people to pay again wasn't on). So I left pub at 10, would have expected to be home some time between 10.30 and 11, probably 10.45. It was MIDNIGHT! grrrrrr

StealthPolarBear · 05/09/2008 13:28

awful journey elkie, bet you were exhausted

Eddas · 05/09/2008 14:17

i'm home

lovely weather today

Off into town in a bit to get ds new shoes

geordieminx · 05/09/2008 15:38

Weather is ok up here folks

Bramshott · 05/09/2008 16:10

Oh Elkie - that sounds awful!

Glad the move has gone okay Caz.

Update for Caz: We have had a lovely summer of mooching around and lots of visiting. 2 weeks in France were lovely and I drank so much wine that I had a 3 day detox hangover when we got back! Felt very sad when I got the buggy out of the boot in the car park in the rain today to find it all full of sand, and was thinking "this time last week we were on the beach" (at Weston Super Mare with my fried - a really lovely day). This crap weather is no fun - makes me feel very back to school and that summer is over in no uncertain terms! Now last year, it was nice in early Sept I remember, and the DDs and I were in the garden every day after school.

N was so tired after her first day back at school yesterday that she lay down on the floor and kicked and screamed like a toddler because she didn't like her dinner!

Doobydoo · 05/09/2008 16:45

Complicated comp thing done!
Elkie that sounds awful.

Dooby, how is your ds today?

Dippy, have they given you a final verdict on your state of health yet? Seem to be taking their time

Hi Bramshott. Poor N. As I said in a previous post, B has been exhausted. She is really sensitive poor love.
