Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Eddas · 05/09/2008 19:14

oh no, have you got a spare pair SOL?

oven has died

Take away tonight

for every bad thing, there's a good one to match

Sexonlegs · 05/09/2008 19:37

So SPB, what image do you have of me then???

Eddas, no spare pair so have my lenses in. They have been super-glued which did the trick last time, so hopefully they will be ok. Should have a spare pair really as I wear them a lot, but because I have such pants eyesight my glasses are about 200 pounds

Girls in bed and waiting for Thai curry courtsey of Sainsbury's to cook.

Not much wine left though so may have to venture out in the piddling rain. No pain no gain eh?

oooggs · 05/09/2008 20:13

welcome back caz - ds1 started school two days ago, scan went well, 19 weeks today, dts sleeping through (most of the time), I'm off work sick (pregnancy stuff), just had 2 weeks as a family and did lots of day trips and a few days away in the caravan

dooby - come back home and about that teacher

sol - hope the glasses last with glue

ange - wax=ouch

pisha - welcome back and good luck with the move and hope ds1 is ok

eddas - another expensive outlay

katy - think we are going to Falmouth tomorrow on the train

gm - the scan - well dh didn't want to know and I was curious, so when he left the room to get the scan photo I asked her if those bits I saw on the screen were those of a boy!

StealthPolarBear · 05/09/2008 20:24

So...it's a boy?
(You like keeping us in suspense!)
Fantastic!!

runnyhabbit · 05/09/2008 20:27

Evening all

pesha and caz Welcome back - sounds like you've both got your hands full

ange - J is 3, so will be starting nursery class. 1st wk he goes 9-12, 2nd wk 9-2, and then depending how he gets on, he can go 9-3.30.
sol - I really need to get new glasses too, but only because the paint on the hinge is flaking off I only wear them for driving but should wear them more often. Have just started a HSA policy purely because I know I need new glasses
dooby for your ds, but sooo at headteacher. Hope you get it sorted.

J starts his proper swimming lessons tomorrow. Why did I put his name down for the 8.30 class

runnyhabbit · 05/09/2008 20:28

can't believe I missed that bit oooggs!

did they confirm it's a blue one?

hi spb

runnyhabbit · 05/09/2008 20:30

And I'm so glad everyones first days are going well. It's stopping me from getting so anxious about it, although J is very excited. Tried on his school uniform last week, and promptly told me that this is what he has to wear to see Mrs Morris Bless him

oooggs · 05/09/2008 20:32

yes runny

J will be at school for longer than James their day is 9 - 3.15

geordieminx · 05/09/2008 20:58

Wooo Hoooo Oooggs - Poor Erin is going to have her hands full keeping all of those peshy boys under control in years to come. Does dh know you are having a boy?

AngeG · 05/09/2008 21:04

Evening

Oooggs at a blue bean, fantastic! Have you told DH? Have you thought of any names?

Runny - J sounds so sweet, bless him!

SOL - Hope glasses stay fixed!

Eddas - about oven being broken (you're not having much luck atm) but for takeaway.

Dooby - Sorry you didn't have much luck with headteacher. Maybe it's time you came home!

Dippy - Are the doctors doing more tests?

Caz - Welcome back at old boss. Glad DC have settled well into school!
Catch up for Caz - Izzy is a terror she climbs on anything and everything, have caught her trying to climb over wall to next door garden chasing the cat! DS starts school on Monday. Haven't had a holiday yet!

Waxing didn't really hurt Oooggs had legs, eyebrows and bikini line done!

Just booked to go back to Spain to see DH parents in half term. Got a good deal on flight going out there only £46 for the four of us!!

Hope everyone ok.

When is the Rescue Prog on Channel 5?

runnyhabbit · 05/09/2008 21:16

J new teacher, has said that he doesn't have to go for the full day after the 3rd wk, he can still do 9-2. But she was quite open and said that it's rare that that happens - none of the children like leaving the others having fun!
This is the school he's going to here

oooggs · 05/09/2008 21:45

dh does know but I am not allowed to tell anyone so shush

Sexonlegs · 05/09/2008 21:59

Oooggs, how lovely

Ange, such cheap flights! Who are you flying with?? I am desperate for some sun and dh and I talked about going away during October half term....

B been awake for the 3rd night in a row all hot and bothered - ever since she went back to school

Off to bed now as knackered. Glasses have been fixed - hurrah!! And not a sticking plaster in sight as per Jack Duckworth

SOL - We are flying with ryanair from Bournemouth to Alicante! Hope B ok. Are you going to take her to the doctors?

AngeG · 05/09/2008 22:22

Your

StealthPolarBear · 05/09/2008 23:08

bloody men

Pisha · 05/09/2008 23:19

Congrats on a boy oooggs!!!

Loving all these little updates on everyone! Fab idea Caz, keep them coming!

N had blood tests today. Dr had given me prescription for some cream to rub on him half hour before to numb him - brilliant I thought. Unfortunately it was just the cream when actually you need little cling film type patches to put over it for it to work so it did naff all They gave him a squirt with the cool spray but he still cried Its only a few weeks since he had his pre school booster so the memory of the pain of needles was getting him quite upset before they even started. But its done now so hopefully results back in a week or 2.

Dylan being utterly gorgeous atm! Hes such a cutey!! Went into Orange shop with a friend earlier and they have big fish tank underneath one of the counter type things and he was sat in pushchair going 'oooooo wow' for ages! Also keeps hugging the dog and saying ahhh, which is a big improvement on the growling and shouting 'OUT' that he was doing before!

Gotta go, back when I can.

Pisha · 05/09/2008 23:20

Didnt preview that so apols for any mistakes or things that dont make sense!

Pisha · 05/09/2008 23:43

NorthernLurker · 06/09/2008 12:00

Hi all

Congratulations on the boy Oooggs!!

Caz - good to hear you're moved ok and back with us

GMM and Liath - v of the night garden - B loves it too.

I've finished my old job and start the new one on Monday. Very excited about that

Strangely it's sunny here - it's supposed to be rainy. I am irrationally annoyed about this

Dh and I have a proper grown up party to go to tonight

Ok enough ramblings - byeeeeeeee

(BTW - if you haven't looked at that accidental neighbour dispute thread - do - that woman is an absolute loon!!)
