Great advice for PJ again, fab post CM.

Oh dear, I see I've been storied. Will fb you WATS! Sorry ladies, WATS is a dear friend of mine, mad as a hatter and Irish..... She'll slap me for that.

AM, I'll give you a ring for a natter! Still sucks not having MSN.

lg&t, I would have cried too.

Wonders how TYG and SKY are doing with their gorgeous bundles.

Pinkjenny · 13/08/2008 13:57

How do you always manage to reduce me to tears? (And that's just the Barry Manilow comment...)

I wholeheartedly agree with everything you are saying.

I wish he's just speak to me.

cravingaquietlife · 13/08/2008 14:00

SOH does it again... have you finished that book yet?

What is it with the hand sitting?

AprilMeadow · 13/08/2008 14:03

Blimey SOH what a great post full of wise words and great advice! Sorry to hear that the bank is being crappy! Ah that special time of year when every company employs cheap staff!

I know CAQL it's crap that we cant just spend hours chatting on msn and now that i have a web cam and all! And now you are on the phone

charleymouse · 13/08/2008 14:06

PJ dearest he is at work nad probably doesn't want to open up when he there. You may unfortunatley need to wait until he is home tonight.

How about you ask your Mum to go home early today or have L for you so you and DH can get some couple time. If neither possible try the following.

If L is going to bed earlier now I suggest you run DH a bath (don't panic nothing sexual here) and bath him. Pop a glass of wine in his hand and wash him all over, very intimate but not necessarily sexual. I find it so relaxing when DH runs me a bath and washes my hair for me and it makes me feel all lovey dovey that he really cares and focuses all his attention on me.

Just the slightest kindness shown to them when they are feeling low can really help break the ice and make them relax and open up.

charleymouse · 13/08/2008 14:08

Sorry SOH that was my mistake, sorry for besmirching your name with talk of wanton being with child and all that.

Pinkjenny · 13/08/2008 14:09

He hasn't seen my mum for weeks, she's always gone when he gets home.

9.45pm last night.
7.45pm the night before.

Anyway, sorry for being so self indulgent. Enough about me!!!!

ShowOfHands · 13/08/2008 14:10

'Mark darling, get in the bath, you stink'. No? Never mind.

PJ, you need to do this in person. It's important. Don't try and start this by email and text. We all know how things can be taken out of context when you're not face to face.

Jam, no sun here either. Rain rain rain. I love it.

charleymouse · 13/08/2008 14:19

SOH do you think he only does it when I smell?

largeginandtonic · 13/08/2008 14:25

Farcking rain. You wont be saying 'i ove rain' when M is demanding to go out and play with her brothers ans comes in all covered in mud.

That Persil advert despite being distictly odd is pissing me off. Oh yes please i would LOVE my fecking washing machine to be on 4 times a day instead of 3.

SOH i knew you would have some great advice. How is the mastitis? I wonder how much one of your boobs holds now? Beau can down 10oz of milk in the blink of an eye. Go and weigh one for me

Pink be calm and write down some things to make it clearer for later.

Oh the boy is screaming again!

Your husband runs you a long, relaxing bubble bath and offers to soap your back. Is it because...

a) you stink
b) he's a kind and lovely, devoted man
c) men like wet, nekkid ladies

A mix between b and c? 5 points. You are in a Normal Relationship. Your husband fancies you and wants to do nice things for you. Please turn over for a good girl's guide to the g-spot.

I could write for wimmens magazines, I so could.

ShowOfHands · 13/08/2008 14:33

Had mastitis 3 times in 6 weeks now. It's driving me bananas. It's the teething, she's got 2 back teeth, 2 coming through. She bites, pinches the ducts, causes a blockage. Twill pass. Weigh my boobs? Did you want ounces or grams?

You should see M. DH dressed her today. She's wearing a blue/green swirly top, red/green/blue flowery dress, red trousers with yellow flowers, blue shoes, orange hat, green scarf and has adorned herself with clothes pegs. She's also marching up and down waving a pair of my knickers (clean) shouting 'bye bye daddy bye bye'. He's just gone to work.

charleymouse · 13/08/2008 14:35

SOH I can't turn over what is wrong with this machine.

I will never know, does that mean I am a good girl then or not.

LG&T sad as it seems I am missing my washing machine, that is in one place and me/my mountainous pile of washing and tumble dryer/airing rack are in another. Probably just missing it as can see the washing is now breeding and taking on a life of its own.

Pinkjenny · 13/08/2008 14:35

SOH - I have copied and pasted your email into a word doc and am writing him a letter. Sue me for plagiarism if you like.

AM, LG&T and SOH - seriously , let's get this meet-up sorted. I need you guys atm. My RL friends are very judgemental about this kind of thing, and tend to hold it against the relationship forever.

charleymouse · 13/08/2008 14:36

KG and lbs please

charleymouse · 13/08/2008 14:37

PJ will now be sulking as not invited. I have saved you a KK honest.

charleymouse · 13/08/2008 14:39

CM adopts petulant tone of voice

"and you came to Sheffield and didn't pop in."

Pinkjenny · 13/08/2008 14:41

CM - I'm so sorry

But I thought we were meeting up with Scoot - will sort when she's back!!!

ShowOfHands · 13/08/2008 14:44

A little information is dangerous though. By necessity we talk more to our friends about the bad things as that's when we need them and it colours their vision of the relationship as a whole. It's easier to compartmentalise on here I think.

Oh and I won't sue, but I will claim royalties.

Well, out of the 4 or us, 2 are in Hampshire so logistically speaking, we have to travel I suppose. You're all welcome here for a holiday. You can stay with us and go off as families and not have to be stuck in the group. We're normal. TonicWoman, tell AM and PJ I'm normal.

LG&T meant to ask. Don't your LEA provide buses for the twins?

Oh and rain. I go out and get muddy with M. Tis liberating.

charleymouse · 13/08/2008 14:44

woohoo am not billy no mates after all. (wipes brow in relief) Yes will have to get sorted, p'raps we could do both gleeful rubbing of hands ensuing.

To be fair I am only just coming to terms with the fact you lot are real people. I have even seen photos now and you have names and everything tis realy most bizarre.

Pinkjenny · 13/08/2008 14:50

I'm up for going to Hampshire whenever. I'm so in.

I hate the bloody summer.

charleymouse · 13/08/2008 14:52

Summer what summer?

cravingaquietlife · 13/08/2008 14:55

Summer......Where?

So did you weigh the bobo SOH.....I'm guessing easily 7lb.

ShowOfHands · 13/08/2008 14:57

CM, come with. My door is always open. Except when M closes it. And locks it. And hides the key. Suspect most can't trek here anyway so you may be coming on your own!
