Actually, you're probably better off not coming tonight potc as one of the friends i'm meeting is the one who's mum died a few weeks ago, so we may not be the best company atm

thanks nl and potc, i'm fine honestly, just that it's the same day of the week this year and it's freaking me out a bit. Plus I spoke to dad last night and we talked about it TOday is the day Dad rang me at work to tell me mum had a brain tumor aswell as the lung cancer I think being in the same place is making it worse.

I got bought a cake this morning though so it's not all bad

Cake sounds like the ideal comfort right now, followed by that vodka later (for medicinal purposes of course!)

However, I will be coming on August 8th if that's still ok? Minus children. Have to come home on the Saturday afternoon though.

Although, I am without boys from the Thursday, so if you wanted to take a day off and do something I could come down Thursday night?

I went over all depressive earlier. am feeling better now mum would hate me to be depressed so am smiling and thinking about happy times rather than the sad ones. Will buy a lovely bunch of flowers at the weekend to keep in my dining room(or might go and pick some) I don't see the point of buying flowers to leave at the crematorium. At least at home everytime I see them I think of mum

I am cream crackered!!

I am very miserable and narked today. I am fed up of ds being cheeky to me. It is now starting to get to me. He is just generally cheeky, answering back, and constantly bloody whinging when he doesn't get his own way. He should be at football now, but he hasn't gone because of his behaviour. He is devastated and has really cried about it, but I am hoping that he might realise I am serious about not tolerating this anymore.
Oh well, only another hour or so and he will be in bed!!

MJ, our older children seem to be in synch. I could have cried today. B is turning in to a bully - of me.

She is so rude, so obnoxious and such hard work. Her atitude is awful and she is ungrateful.

I try and stay calm as long as I can, but then I just get mad with her.

Dh is away from early tomorrow until late Sunday, and I am dreading it. Thankfully meeting Dippy and IDOC tomorrow which will be fab and then going to mum and dad's on Sunday. Otherwise, I think there could be murder being committed in this house

Yep, DD1 been an absolute HORROR today too!!

M is like that to me at times, but generally only when he's tired. He usually goes to bed between 6 and 6.30 but if he plays up like that he's up there before 6!

Had a fab afternoon, went over to Ipswich to the new Uni to see about courses for September, then met a friend for lunch in a pub garden (well, it was after 2 and we only had drinks but you get what I mean!), then called in at work to collect some things and drop off some files.

Now enjoying the peace and quiet

then started the new twins & triplets group at the new Childrens Centre this afternoon - I'm shattered and for a change ds1 is playing up at bedtime
