nor me! the brave? a teeny little indian?

Friz- it was friday night- not the best time to ask for some perspective!

FWIW- I don't think photographic evidence and a letter are over the top- it sounds like a bad bite, but of course 3 year olds do 'lose it' often, and don't mean what they do/say.

I had a horrid night- dd having lots of nightmares, but doesn't wake to be comforted, just howling, went to bed at 8, woken at 11, and 3... then had a tachycardia, so couldn't get back to sleep until 5...

Thankfully she didn't get up until 8.30 today, but has taken so long to dress and have breakfast that she has missed meeting her Nana in the park (practising Tai Chi sat mornings)... DH has taken her off there anyway, so I can clean up- what a treat for me!

Hello

Friz - Trace2's little boy was bullied and bit in Nursery they took photo's and complained but nothing was done so they ended up moving him to a different nursery and now he goes to school with the same little boy.

Just PMSL dh had some chocolate and ds really wanted some so i said 'give daddy a kiss and a cuddle and you can have some.' So he did and then went to squeeze dh's willy

Frizbe · 03/08/2008 10:40

Phoenix, is that learnt behaviour from his mother

EPPM yeah your right expect no sense on a friday
Sorry to hear dd is having the screaming abdabs in the middle of the night, we've not had so much of that the last week or two, but I know where your coming from. When dd1 used to do it, we used to have to fully wake her to calm her, which could take upto half an hour Hope you enjoyed the cleaning Men are great eh.

Thanks for your info girls, the bite is going down now, so not looking quite so bad, got lots of sympathy from other mothers at a party yesterday, seems dd2 is not the only one getting bit, just the only one on the face.....I was just worried it will scar, on top of the other scar she already has from being in toddlers (the one where a boy had her pinned and was goudging her fact with his thumb nail - staff obviously won't say if same boy)

Am making soup today, as for some reason my organic veg delivery arrived this week, when it wasn't supposed to (bi weekly) so I've cancelled it for rest of month as dh away and I'm working all hours. Have lots of onions, carrots and celery to get rid of, so making passata and soup for freezer, which I can slowly plow through by myself

EachPeachPearMum · 03/08/2008 10:59

Phoenix- is ds any better yet?

Friz- all sounds yummy!

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/08/2008 21:06

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/08/2008 21:25
Phoenix · 04/08/2008 21:32

Hello

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/08/2008 22:04

Hello. How is ds now? Did you establish whether it was pox or not?

Phoenix · 04/08/2008 22:12

He's fine thanks, he was never actually 'ill' just the spots. But no didn't bother with the docs so still non the wiser .

Where's everyone else??

Dh is on nights tonight so i can watch my fave film in peace. Coyote Ugly . I've seen it loads and have it on dvd but it's on itv2 (+1) now so i'll watch it again

for baby turning csws

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/08/2008 22:17

Ah well, you'll be like dh's mum in 40 years then - unsure whether he'd ever had it or not, and before you know it you'll become a grandmother because he knocks up his wife whilst in recovery from adult CP .

Err, for those who didn't know, baby has turned so is no longer breech .

DH in Sydney, and told dd he'd get her a present when he left, so now if I ask her where daddy is, she thinks for a moment, and then says that he's gone to buy her a present!

CantSleepWontSleep · 05/08/2008 08:32

EPPM - there's a thread in baby names that you'll be interested in/want to comment on!

EachPeachPearMum · 05/08/2008 08:37

Sorry- had to have an early night yesterday!

Didn't know DS was breech CSWS.... but good that he isn't now!

Phoenix- glad DS is well.

CantSleepWontSleep · 05/08/2008 09:16

That wasn't the thread I meant - check the titles of the top few and you'll see which one I meant.

EachPeachPearMum · 05/08/2008 09:38

have just seen it!
I x-posted with you earlier...was eating my breakfast while typing.

EachPeachPearMum · 05/08/2008 09:43

Think I'm too nervous to post on that thread- I don't have anything nice to say about the name and I'm worried I may know 'Don'tCallMeBaby' and she didn't like me!

Jas · 05/08/2008 14:54

Hllo

I'm going to go through everything I've missed (we had a lovely time at my mums)...

MRM bedtime as I said, 12-1ish, up at anything between 6 and 7 usually.

Happy (belated) Birthday wishes for Frizbe and csws.

Dame _ i know very little about heart murmers but my mum has one, and it was only diagnosed when she was pregnant with me. Never caused her a problem at all. I hope your ds4s is as minor.

Frizbe - I checked your thread, and it seemed as succesful as mine I hope dd2 is ok now.
I was reading your post as Brave-behind- the-keyboard (ie saying stuff they wouldn't in rl as it is just rude, mostly)

EPPM- Pooor dd, and poor you with the broken nights.

Hope I haven't missed anything important, I've not checked any of the other links as I'm supposed to be trying to clean up and do the washing, while preventing ds from going to sleep

Frizbe · 05/08/2008 22:38

Hi Jas, glad you had a lovely time thanks for reading it anyway the mark is fading and she seems ok with it all so 'shrugs'

CSWS, yay for baby turning and lol at dh 'gone to buy a present' hope he gets one, and doesn't leave it till the last minute and find the shop closed, I had a dad in last week at 9am, scrabbling for a prezzie for his ds, as the airport shop in Italy had been closed at 2am men eh!

CSWS has MRM gone for a job then?

Hi Phoenix, EPPM and anyone else that's around

So the kids went to Skeg with the Grandparents yesterday and then stayed overnight at the GP's all on dad's terms of course, and as we had ss at home, this made no difference to us in terms of being able to do anything so I went and babysat for Meridian and her dh, whilst they went to cinema Was odd not being woken up this morning though

You'll all be pleased to know that apparently Skeg is being dragged up in the world my mum says its been re done and has a lovely new paddling pool that's huge, and swimming pool too . She was most impressed, I may have to go and search for photos online to see what she's on about

EachPeachPearMum · 06/08/2008 19:54

Wow Friz- so many and !

Hope the girls had a great time, and it wasn't too wet.

I have slept all day... am heading back up there in a minute, just so tired. Bloodtests say not anaemic or thyroid problem though, so dunno what.

CantSleepWontSleep · 06/08/2008 21:09

Welcome back and thanks for birthday wishes Jas. Glad you had a good time at your mum's. I've arrived at my parents' today for a long stay whilst dh is in Sydney and builders trash house.

Friz - mrm had put in application and had had a call back but been cut off in tunnel, so was still waiting to speak to them.

How many weeks now EPPM? No reason to suspect GD, which can cause tiredness?

EachPeachPearMum · 07/08/2008 15:56

hmmm, am wondering about GD now CSWS... thats not really good news is it?

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/08/2008 16:23

Well, not great news if it is, but I wouldn't draw any conclusions just from tiredness.
Did you check at work if it was ok to take Monday off for SeaLife btw?

EachPeachPearMum · 07/08/2008 18:10

Oh yes- of course it is... will email you when I get home to sort out details.

I was going off nausea as well btw.

EachPeachPearMum · 07/08/2008 21:49
