FIL is coming back tonight, dp is out of work (again) and wants to cancel him, as he is sooo judgy It is only one night and I've told him I'll be out all day , so hoping I can keep the peace a bit longer. He is away for the rest of the winter, and it would be a shame for him to go with bad feeling between them, however much I agree with dp.....

LostProphet · 28/10/2008 16:11

i agree - better mood = better appearance! And you must be shifting something with all that.

I currently weigh what I have only weighed when I am 6 months pregnant VERY miserable about it.

New hair on profile. It will obv never look like that again once I have washed it

I will probably pretty colour streak it tonight.

Jas · 28/10/2008 17:44

Oooh. Still good, and very grown up Do you like it more?

LostProphet · 28/10/2008 18:01

Much more.

Not liking the phrase "grown up" as I read that and hear "old"

Does anyone know what Madamez is called now, and please can you email me it if so!!!

Jas · 28/10/2008 21:09

mustdripgore · 28/10/2008 21:19

LostProphet · 28/10/2008 21:35

So I looked like a child before

MRM - your hair must weigh a ton I love your hair though

Jas · 28/10/2008 21:41

You looked about 14, and you know it!

mustdripgore · 28/10/2008 21:45

hair weighs very little cos mainly composed of split ends!

EachPeachPearMum · 29/10/2008 08:54

Flame- I know the main bit of madamez' name... but she has a hallowe'en twiddly bit... do you need all of it?

EachPeachPearMum · 29/10/2008 09:02

Jas- be careful ion the drive up... is still covered in snow here!

Jas · 29/10/2008 09:45

EPPM - I still don't know where I am coming on Friday! Will be leaving here at 12 ish.

Mostly motorway for me, so I'm hoping by the time I get that far the snow will be all gone

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/10/2008 10:51

Don't you have snow at yours Jas? We have a couple of inches here.

Is it wrong, or just a bit too honest, to say that I preferred the first hair cut?

Car is poorly so dh taken to garage to swap for most likely unsuitable courtesy car (ours being fixed under warranty).

Off to register ds this afternoon .

All quiet on the builder front today it seems, after a house full of them yesterday. Did I mention that dh has now agreed to turning dining room into playroom, and just accepting that expensive floor (solid walnut) will get trashed? Figure we can always sand it down in a few years . Huge dining table now in breakfast room instead.

Jas · 29/10/2008 10:54

IT SNOWED LAST NIGHT, BUT HTEN IT RAINED, AND IS LOVELY AND SUNNY HERE NOW. Sorry for caps.

Thanks for email, EPPM. According to AA, it is 0.5 miles from my friends house to yours, so I think we'll find you ok

Flamesparrow · 29/10/2008 16:59

nah, I knew some people would prefer the first.

Power came back flame, but to answer your question, yes it's oil fired, but uses electric to pump the oil to the furnace bit.

Flamesparrow · 29/10/2008 19:18

That's crappy then innit?

yay for power back though!

Flamesparrow · 29/10/2008 20:11

pmsl! dearie me!
How is DS CSWS? chubbing up nicely?

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/10/2008 21:26

Should be the amount he's feeding! Not been to get him weighed again though, what with him being a neglected second child .
