Dream catch me - Newton Faulkner

Having a soppy moment, that's sort of how I feel about being here with you girls sometimes

Have a glass SPB - I am corrupting everyone tonight (except NL that is)! Usually I confine my drinking to the weekends, but in my single days, I was very partial to gin (and to falling over, but not usually on the bonnet of a car, although I have of course given birth in one!)

NorthernLurker · 14/07/2008 21:24

Don't bother with a glass SPB - just go straight for the bottle and show these Southerners how real women drink!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 14/07/2008 21:24

I always forget that the car excitement was you Bramshott!

Loved those pictures Bramshott, you could give liath and her housecoat a run for her money

NorthernLurker · 14/07/2008 21:26

Didn't somebody have an unexpected home delivery as well? I was very dull - with a hospital delivery. I think dh was worried about a car situation beforehand but as we only lived 5 mins from the hospital it would have been pushing it! (Geddit )

Eddas · 14/07/2008 21:26

yes spb, you must. my house looks like a sh%^ hole but it'll still be there tomorrow

hello sol glad all is well

i don't think i'm mj's friend on fb

POTC, my friends are off out that night so wondered if you'd like to come down?

Sexonlegs · 14/07/2008 21:26

Go on SPB, you know you want to!

NL, I feel on good form; nowt to do with the glass of red wine K is on top form too. She is utterly gorgeous atm. [biased mummy]

MJ, just looked at your pics - gorgeous! I can't wait to meet you!!!

POTC, and why are you so perky? Anything to do with that young man?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 14/07/2008 21:27

oooh, sounds like fun, will see what I can do!

I could be with you by 7.30/8 I think?

Sexonlegs · 14/07/2008 21:28

NL, twas me; I had an unexpected home delivery, and it wasn't Sweet and Sour

NorthernLurker · 14/07/2008 21:28

SOL - just had a look at your pics - that is a gorgeous one of the gils together!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 14/07/2008 21:29

sort of SOL, having nothing more to do with him and feeling much better for it! and a certain other young man (remember the housemate of SofaBoy?) who happens to have rather magical fingers

just feeling much more settled in myself, got myself back on track and feeling confident again

OP posts:
Bramshott · 14/07/2008 21:30

Ah yes of course it was you SOL, and WaspElly had a dramatic one too I think (we pop our babies out with great efficiency here in the South you know!).

Eddas - am I your FB friend? What are your initials?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 14/07/2008 21:31

You know me, I fall down, I get up again and end up stronger for it
(and having you lot behind me helps too, I will never forget last christmas!)

StealthPolarBear · 14/07/2008 21:33

ooh I didn't remember that SOL Who delievered her? (I take it that was K and not B?)

StealthPolarBear · 14/07/2008 21:34

I mean being born, not acting as MW

NorthernLurker · 14/07/2008 21:34

wistful as in time to go for it again or as in that was a special time but we're done with that sort of thing? I'm firmly in the second camp btw!

Eddas · 14/07/2008 21:34

not sure bramshott, i'm NO

Bramshott · 14/07/2008 21:35

When I get pissed, I always talk about giving birth in the car - load of fun me .

Ooh, that reminds me, I videoed that Freebirthing thing the other night, so I might head off to the sofa and watch that now.

DH is away until Thurs though so I will be back!

PhDlifeNeedsaNewLife · 14/07/2008 21:35

hello, s'posed to be working but just wanted to fly past and say, "OMG, the TODDLER has landed - he was just SUCH a toddler this afternoon, I'm starting to be a wee bit scared" -- anyone know what I mean?!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 14/07/2008 21:35

me too NL, had a bit of a 'blip' recently which I kept to myself, but it confirmed my feelings that I wouldn't be worried if I never went through pregnancy again!

OP posts:
Sexonlegs · 14/07/2008 21:36

Ahhh POTC, you softie I really am so pleased things are on the up for you.

NL, thanks

Eddas · 14/07/2008 21:36

2nd option Nl, definately 2nd

don't get me wrong i actually loved being pg both times, and the births, when they eventually happened, weren't too bad, but I can't imagine another child hanging around in my house

PillockOfTheCommunity · 14/07/2008 21:37

Bramshott/Eddas, you don't have each other, but I have both of you!
