Dream catch me - Newton Faulkner

Having a soppy moment, that's sort of how I feel about being here with you girls sometimes

eddas - great photos - love dd sandcastles

CaptainDippy · 16/07/2008 19:28

Oh no NL I hope not xx

Lovely pics, Eddas

Eddas · 16/07/2008 19:36

thanks for the photo compliments i'm not sure dd was allowed much to do with the sandcastle building though

nl, hope you're not getting anything

I've just had a bad bedtime with dd little monkey. She must be overtired from her day at the beach oh wait here she goes again

NorthernLurker · 16/07/2008 19:43

Well my chest felt tight at the weekend, then I had a slight dry cough then today my voice is distinctly dodgy and I feel slightly feverish tonight. I am never off sick so if dd1 and I are even slightly off it tomorrow I wouldn't hesitate to ring in. I am supposed to be on a training course tomorrow and don't really want to miss it but on the other hand I'm not feeling very trainable isywim right now. Will have to see.

Eddas · 16/07/2008 19:47

i've just eaten a whole pack of jaffa cakes how did that happen

PillockOfTheCommunity · 16/07/2008 19:47

Evening all
I did come on at lunchtime but then I made my computer go wrong at work
Was paying too much attention to flirting on the phone and held the shift key down too long, setting off the stupid sticky keys thing and meaning I couldn't finish posting!

Came on to tell Caz I was coming over your way at lunchtime, but can't remember why I was planning to tell you!

Boys both in bed, I've had dinner, signing off for the night now. Working hard on getting my house straight, have arranged for a charity shop to come in 2 weeks and collect all the stuff I don't want/need anymore so need to get it all sorted by then! And I'm sending Oooggs my maternity clothes so I need to finish packing them up!

4 year olds eh oooggs dd seems quiet now please please do not let her realise dh has gone out, all hell will break loose in eddas-land

oooggs · 16/07/2008 19:50

can I feel movement at 12 weeks? or am I imagining it?

oooggs · 16/07/2008 19:51

ellie - have mailed you

oooggs · 16/07/2008 19:52

oh eddas I am with you there - my dh has gone out too (cycling with a friend) and ds1 would create even more

NorthernLurker · 16/07/2008 19:55

How exciting Oooggs! I suspect you probably can feel movement - I'm quite sure I could feel dd3 moving at about 14 weeks. She went quiet after that for a week or two and then I really could feel her at 18 weeks or so.

oooggs · 16/07/2008 19:57

NL - I could be 12/13/14 weeks will find out at dating scan on friday and of course my tummy muscles are shot through

lexilex · 16/07/2008 19:57

hiya ladies, sorry not been on, laptop had a virus, so i hope everyone is ok, and all los are good,

house is nearly done now, and we are moving in on sunday, and owen has his last day at playschool tomorrowso im a bit upset bout that, but apart form that ve had a very quiet few days. xxxx

leakyR · 16/07/2008 19:58

Oh no poorly people! Hope you're not all coming down with lurgy NL. Nothing worse than looking after a poorly child when you're not well yourself.

I am going to have a bath in a mo and then I am going to bed. Sooo tired.

Trafford Centre was full of kids! Council strike meant that loads of schools were shut today. I came home with 2 tops each for DH and George. The shopping guilt is not so strong if I don't buy for me also all half price so that helped too!

Dippy I hope tomorrow is better and P's teeth settle down.

Eddas lovely photos. Your 2 are so alike!

Goodnight.

NorthernLurker · 16/07/2008 20:03

Good Luck with the move Lexi

Must go and eat something but am struggling to muster the oomph!

Eddas · 16/07/2008 20:03

i haven't heard her for a bout 15mins now oooggs. I shan't be tempting to go and see if she's asleep. i will presume she is i'd imagine you can feel the baby move, with ds i definately felt him earlier than with dd. now if i were a better mummy i would've written the date down in a book but.......

hi lexilex, glad your house is getting there, i bet it seems huge compared to where you are now

hi leaky my dc are very similar, tis weird. how are you feeling today?

Eddas · 16/07/2008 20:04

got any jaffa cakes nl? did the trick for my hunger

oooggs · 16/07/2008 20:05

no such luck here eddas - he is still awake and twittering

NorthernLurker · 16/07/2008 20:07

I would love a jaffa cake Eddas but i don't have any! of you. i am actually flirting with making myself a syrup sponge pudding. 2 minutes in the mixer and 9 in the combi mircowave and the result is fab comfort food!!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 16/07/2008 20:08

still waiting for twunt Justin to get back to me Eddas, but might arrange an alternative just in case.

The latest was a text last night telling me that he can only have J Friday night instead of all weekend because they have 2 French students staying, one is there already and other one arrives Saturday. I went loopy. No Frigging Way is my baby going to stay with some random 15yr old French lad sharing his bedroom, or J going into the room with Justin and gf. I'm told I'm being ridiculous. Don't care tbh, I am not sending him to stay there with virtual strangers.

OP posts:
PillockOfTheCommunity · 16/07/2008 20:09

And I'm back because J is awake, seems to be in pain

Oooggs - don't be ridiculous, not doing it!

OP posts:
oooggs · 16/07/2008 20:11

ellie - you are a stubborn young lady - but I will get you next time I see you

NorthernLurker · 16/07/2008 20:11

Did Justin have his brain removed at some point or is he really just naturally that dim? Not only is it inappropriate for his son to share a room with someone neither he nor you nor J knows but it's also hugely unlikely that any 15 yr old wants to share a room with a baby! Some holiday that would be.
