eandh - potty?!! Aleady?!! I'm only just getting there with ds1!!
DH - I went to a wedding on due date with ds1, but that was because I wanted him out. Alas, despite energetic ceilidhing, to no avail! Also went to Halifax for a wedding when about 38 weeks with ds2 (on Loosh's ds's bday in fact!), was a little nervous in case I went into labour so far from home, but didn't exactly expect to go early (just as well, eh?). But I guess is different if you're going for a c/s

Wilkie - I hate using the word naughty in connection with little ones! I know I'm a hippy lentil weaver - but they don't know what they're doing, they're just pushing boundaries which is perfectly normal. The nursery only tell me if he's been bitten, not if he's the biter.

I figure - I can't do anything about it! No need for me to knnow!

Dh has just come home with deoderant which smells like sage and juniper because he thinks if he smells like roast chicken and gin i'll find him irresistable!!

Hi Shimmer! Nice to see you and yes would love to see you if you make it up north. Wilkie might even be able to make it too seeing as she is now a northern girl.

Wilkie - funnily enough I was thinking that I need cupboard and door catches today as Ellen nearly pulled the drawer out and on top of her head. Glad your little man is ok - hope he is sleeping soundly now and that the fish and chips were scrummy.

The rain has been shocking here. I was PI**ED OFF as:-

  1. I had put 2 loads of washing out as gorgeous sun this morning and last 2 days have forecast rain but none happened during day
  2. I washed Ellen's sandpit this morning, dried it and put in new sand.
The rain then swamped 1 and 2 so I had dripping washing and sopping sand.

I have been thick this week. Nursery told me there were nits and gave me a leaflet that I understood as meaning I needed to buy nit conditioner and a comb. In Boots all the stuff was for over 2 and above so they told me to go to drs. I made drs appt then rang nursery to ask if i needed to treat her if she didn't have them. They told me I needed to jst use my conditoner and only if she had nits. Dippy vino again. I don;t think she has them, they keep telling me as her hair is so blond I would see them easily.

oh vino - we had our 1st episodes of nots lately and was a blinkin nightmare as Ellie was squealing (thought they were going to eat her!) and because she has wavy/curly hair was a nightmare to comb stuff through, it was disgusting what came out of her hait though

Vino - snap re the sand table here. It is now a water and sand table...

IIRC Vin, nit eggs are like a small clear teardrop at the base of the hair near the root. Urgh bleurgh makes me itch
