lg&t, dammn and pain, I can't find it, it's not where I thought it was. I will have a proper hunt tomorow for it. Will let you know. I can't promise a match with ya bag, but I can promise it's free if I can find it.

Pinkjenny · 02/07/2008 14:53

I can't believe you can't find me!!! In the Manchester group? Maybe I've been deleted because of the hideous pictures from Saturday night.

Pinkjenny · 02/07/2008 15:08

SOH has found me - I think she used my maiden name - Jenny Nicholas xxx

ShowOfHands · 02/07/2008 15:16

Exotic name.

charleymouse · 02/07/2008 15:16

Okay here's gutted. I am now back at work as have managed to string out holidays etc to let me be off until this week. I am doing shortish days this week to let G settle in at nursery. He enjoyed his taster sessions and was fine on Monday, clingy yesterday and cried today. I thought it was supposed to get easier. The thing is I have got back to a job I loved and they are closing my department down. I am back at work to look for another job and I don't really think I want to be doing it. I have put in a request for part time hours but not sure how this will affect my chances of getting a new job. They are relocating some of our work/posts but there will probably be some people who don't get sorted so am in a bit of a quandary. Should I stick it out FT then try to alter to PT or go PT and hope someone will employ me?

We have not yet moved although we have got half our stuff over now and DDs room is finished. Our room is nearly finished and Gs room is the dumping ground for everything. It is starting to look nice will have to post pics later. DH has sorted out the broadband but it is so hectic I have not had chance to log on from home. On a positive note our kitchen supplier/fitter has gone bankrupt halfway through our kitchen so we have to cough up for work/units/appliances we have already paid for just to get it finished. TYG am with you on the tradesmen thing they are a nightmare. We were unable to work at weekends/evenings due to the glass fitter (on staircase) promising faithfully they were coming for weeks and then letting us down. I couldn't secure the place well enough to allow the DCs to get about as if they had fallen over the edge of the stairs it would have been curtains.

We have been running down our supplies in the old house in anticipation of moving and now need to restock our dry goods/larder goods/cleaning products/toiletries etc. I have promised DH faithfully I am trying in the new house to be domestic goddess less slatternly. So can you advise as to what I can not do without in my cupboards/drawers/fridge/freezer? So I can always rustle up a wholesome meal and not peer at dried up yuk and packets past there use by date and go "lets have a takeaway." I also want to try to get my hand in with baking as I used to love it then found I didn't have time and now want to show the kids the pleasures of cooking/baking something from scratch and then eating it. We will have access to fresh veg as the chap next door has a huge greenhouse and veg patch and has told us to help ourselves. FIL lives next door also so we know this to be true as we have been on the receiving end of veg boxes when he has too much before.

God first post for ages and all I do is moan. I bet you have really missed me.
Sorry MKG try again in a few days. Sorry about your friend Scoot it sucks. How's the sleeping PJ? G still sleeps in our room until we move; he regularly jumps in halfway through the night, you are not alone . He goes to bed when I do it is just later than I would prefer for him. Congratulations on the walking L. Congratulations Lups, glad it is turning out ok; I am also worried about future pregnancies I think my womb must resemble an elastic band that has been stretched beyond the point of no return due to the polyhydramnios and then an ECS. It does worry me and I know DH would fret the whole time something might not be right. LGT hope the sickness is subsiding, good luck with the cardiac apt tomorrow. AM the new house looks lovely. TYG love the new pram. Still not taking any precautions and no sign of AF returning hopefully something will just happen if it meant to be. MJB glad you had a nice time, we were at CP Sherwood Forest last week and it was lovely. Cam is your plumber back yet? TSM well done on the walking I'm sure G will get there when he is ready, sigh. ED are you ready to let the news out yet. JIMW I usually am a bit relaxed about the dosing as G spits out half so it becomes a guesstimate how much medicine he has. Last week when he was teething I had to swaddle him and hold his nose - not pleasant. Hello everyone I have missed it is not intentional I just have to keep up the pretence of working and can only go back so far. If anyone wants to do a summing up for me that would be great. I was so pissed off annoyed by BT cutting us off they were pigging useless.

Shhhh whispers "I have been watching Big Brother" [guilty face smiley]

charleymouse · 02/07/2008 15:23

SOH have also clocked you, you did a brill job and have nothing to feel bad about. Some of the paper work from birth is just technical medical speak and I am glad LGT has translated it for you. You are such a good mummy that it would be downright criminal for you to only mother one. Tank would be a great big sister.

Are you still feeding Tank yourself? I have to say my boobs have been a bit busting out of the seams this week as G usually has a bit of a snack throughout the day and obv back at work it is a bit difficult. I did suggest to nursery I might feed him at lunchtime but they thought it might unsettle him. I am not sure but will see how he gets on this week and reassess at the weekend.

PS are you fully truncheoned in your house yet?

charleymouse · 02/07/2008 15:25

Okay this facebook thing I am not on it should I be? I can't even keep up on here so have no hopes with anything else as well. I think I should leave this new fangled technology to you young things.

ShowOfHands · 02/07/2008 15:41

Aww thanks CM. Sounds chaotic your end. Nursery will definitely settle down. Can you express at work? I am still feeding El Tank on demand and she's showing no signs of losing interest. I'm secretly glad as I love bfing.

We are truncheons a go go here.

charleymouse · 02/07/2008 15:54

Woo hoo for the truncheons!

I think that is the prob SOH, G was pretty much on demand until last week. With DD I tried to get her off day time feeds in anticipation of starting nursery but with G I have been reluctant to do so.

Don't tell anyone but DD occasionally has a bit as well.

I could possibly express at work but have not really done it since I stopped giving G his meds in EBM.

ShowOfHands · 02/07/2008 16:24

I won't tell anybody! See how you fare and if you're uncomfortable, expressing might be the way to go.

You know when I saw you'd posted I half thought it was another 'I'm pregnant'. It does sound like you'd like more though from your post.

Apparently they're not called truncheons anymore. They have a technical name which I forget. Hitty sticks rings a bell.

elkiedee · 02/07/2008 16:54

CM, that sounds difficult re the restructure.

AprilMeadow · 02/07/2008 17:06

MKG it was a neg...... it could be a false neg tho (keeping fingers crossed for you)

LG&T so pleased it arrived and that you liked it! I thought it was the most practical one they had. I was mooching round the sales and spied it - i just couldnt leave it there

Pink, you will have to post a pic of L dressed as Minnie

Charley, great to see you Bummer about the job, fingers crossed that it all works out for you. I share your pain on the house move front. I AM moving on the 18th, i dont care whether its finished!

Tiles have gone up in the kids bathroom today so hopefully that should be finished tomorrow and then he can grout on Friday. No pressure for him as the first half of carpets are being fitted on Wednesday oh that reminds me i had better go and pay the balance!

Taking the kiddies to Chessington World of Adventures tomorrow. Bought an annual pass at legoland that included CWoA, Thorpe Pk, Sealife Centers and a few others. I think i have to use it 3/4 times and it has paid for itself.

MrsJb, had a squizz at your piccies from CP - you all look like you are having a ball.

AprilMeadow · 02/07/2008 17:12

LG&T, will get those trousers in the post to you in the next day or two

AprilMeadow · 02/07/2008 17:33

Have popped a picture of Jack on my profile

MKG · 02/07/2008 18:11

Guys--I think my bfn is a bfp.

OK so I went to throw the other one away and noticed the tiniest little line, so I went and read the instructions it said that a positive could be read for 48 hours and a negative shouldn't be read after 10 minutes. So I did another one and again got a faint line.

So I went bought a clearblue (didn't have digital) and it didn't work. So I'm drinking a ton of water and waiting to try the other one.

Then I'm quesitoning the fact that I'm able to pee this much, it's just not humanly possible.

ShowOfHands · 02/07/2008 18:22

Did the faint line come up in the designated time then?

ShowOfHands · 02/07/2008 18:24

Aww bless Jack, he's got a brill smile. And Ella's like her Daddy in that pic.

MKG · 02/07/2008 18:33

Ok the first one I don't know, because I could barely see it and only noticed a few hours after. So did the other faint line in time. did the first clear blue and didn't work, and just did the second clear blue and got

BFP!!!!! I'm calling it ladies. I'm pregnant!

ShowOfHands · 02/07/2008 18:35

Another one bites the dust.

Well done you. And dh I suppose.

MKG · 02/07/2008 18:40

Come on everyone else is doing it!

AprilMeadow · 02/07/2008 18:41

Congratulations MKG

ShowOfHands · 02/07/2008 18:52

I will not bow to peer pressure, hormones or otherwise.

But well done you.

MKG · 02/07/2008 18:56

Damn, this one is a tough cookie to crack.

JamInMyWellies · 02/07/2008 19:06

Super congrats MKG.
