Not odd at all JBM.

Can't imagine how tough it must be to go through early pg and then have to say goodbye to all those hopes. Hope you're ok JBM

Was wondering too about Natty

justbeme · 09/06/2008 22:12

Only a quickie tonight - Im off to watch a bit of BB (I Know Im abit sad!!).
Sweet Dreams all x

lackaDAISYcal · 09/06/2008 22:16

not odd jbm...thoughtful and reflective. I often think my lost babies are looking after us.......

are you OK? and managing to take things easy? sorry if I'm banging on about being pregnant a bit much

hope all is peaceful at casa sputnik now. Chicken fried rice, chips and curry sauce for me for tea.....very healthy

I have sunburn . I sat out with my friend this morning for an hour, but was mostly in the shade with the babies, then this afternoon I lathered myself in factor 15 before sunbathing for an hour. I've now read that your skin colours more easily when pregnant, so that might explain things. It;s not too bad though and will probably be brown by the morning, but I feel like I have a bit of a glow!

Sputnik · 09/06/2008 22:22

Don't want to scare you Daisy but iirc you can end up with something like liver spots (temporary though)

All is calm now, but there is no chocolate in the house

Sputnik · 09/06/2008 22:26

Surely Holly is over her hangover by now?

(she will pop up now, wait and see)

lackaDAISYcal · 09/06/2008 22:27

I already have chloasma on my forehead ....but I lather my face in the baby suncream every morning and wear a hat.

Mmmm, nicer than the worms anyway....

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 10/06/2008 06:59

Morning all I got a lie in this morning - jamlet didn't wake until 6.20

Looking forward to our day out. And it's sunny again

JBM - I don't think you sound odd at all. It sounds a lovely thought. I'm so sorry for all you've been through.

For those of you with close gaps on the horizon - a cousin of mine had twin DDs when her DD1 was a little uner 2 and she's coped, so it can be done. And a good friend of mine has a brother 18 months younger than her and a sister 12 months younger than him.

andiem · 10/06/2008 08:10

morning all

just about recovered from the ball at the weekend

jammy I was up early too lo still wakes 2/3 times a night I wish he wouldn't I really want to stop bf when he is 1 so he is in for a bit of a shock

jbm I know how you feel I have been pregnant 5 times I often think of the other babies especially around bdays of the other 2

norty am very but no more babies here for us

fairy we had a bit of potty regression as well I think it is very common

off to get dressed for school run
catch up later

bumperlicious · 10/06/2008 08:31

for all of your babies that weren't to be. Especially thinking of you JBM.

Fairy sorry you are having troubles. No advice unfortunately.

Andie, glad you had a ball (geddit?!)

I got a bit sunburned yesterday too. Forgot that I couldn't reach my back with the suncream.

Going to the lido again today though it's bit cooler, hope DD doesn't mind the water. She had a great time on Sunday. It is heated though.

Jammy, glad yo got a lie in! Got one here too unless you count the fact that she woke up at some god forsaken hour for her dummy - haven't yet managed to solve that problem. At the beginning of the week there were about 6 in her cot, they disappear into a black hole.

bumperlicious · 10/06/2008 08:31

Oh and sputnik, sorry you had a tough nice. Bet you are looking forward to DH getting back.

Sputnik · 10/06/2008 13:51

Yeah the tough bedtime was just a taster for the night i had coming! Ended up with about 4 hours sleep.
Anyway, I picked DH up from the station this morning and took the baby to the docs, he has an inflamed ear but nothing serious. I'll be sure to remind him of that when he starts screaming inconsolably at 2 in the morning tonight.

Were up very early too, but at least that meant i managed a quick tidy.

Despite being an utter wreck he is still determindly cruising up and down this massive stone fireplace thing we have, he's getting pretty good.

Baby Sputnik's birthday present arrived and is really lovely, so we're all set up here Not sure about the beach anymore due to weather, probably we'll do afternoon tea at SIL's house.

Happy Birthday to Fairy's DS

Hellooo!
Happy Birthday Fairy's* DS!*

MHC sorry you've had a rough night with DS1. Happy birthday to your DH for tommorrow!

JBM, hope you are feeling ok . I had a mc in the July before DD was concieved. It was one of the hardest things I've ever been through and I could not imagine having another four (or even another one.) I hope that your family is looking after you (although I know that it will be hard for them too.) ((((hugs))))

Poor OJ that's terrible news.

Daisy and Norty, sorry but I have been LOLing at you talking about 18 months between siblings . At the school where my mum works there is a boy and a girl who are brother and sister and there is 9 months between them . Now this could be slightly wrong as my mum is a bit batty, but they are in the same class so there is definately less than 12 months between them!

I've been looking after my friend's DS today. He was an absolute darling, bless him. He even helped me tidy up by putting mega blocks back in the bag! He is only 11 days older than DD. She was helping me by pulling the blocks back out again and throwing them onto the floor .

buntinglicious · 10/06/2008 19:01

Evening all, Happy Birthday baby Fairy

We've been at the lido again today with another mum and baby, lovely but not really relaxing . Nice to be in the water though, and the day turned out gorgeous in the end.

It's mine and DH's anniversary today. Two years. We didn't get each other cards or anything, but MIL sent us £20 in the post so we are getting a take away, bless her!

andiem · 10/06/2008 19:02

congrats for tomorrow bumper

it is our 15th this year but still feels like two

Happy Anniversary Bumper We went to the Cotswold Wildlife Park today, it was lovely. And yes it did get out sunny again I think some of the animals were a bit lost on the jamlet, but I think she liked the penguins and the peacock and the rabbits at least.

Fairy hope you had a good day with DS's birthday.

Still not sure what to do tomorrow. We have considered a soft play place for the jamlet but wonder if it'll be a waste as she's still not moving all that much. She can bum shuffle fairly well but that's about it. I did wonder if somewhere new and exciting might encourage her a little? Or would we be paying for her to just sit and look around for a couple of hours (admittedly it'll only be a couple of pounds so no great loss)

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 10/06/2008 19:44

Oh and despite all the animals she thought the best bit was the swings
