Sorry, had to go do nappy, tea, laundry.

Good to hear about Sainsurys coughing up - I am fed up with them never having in the wipes we use, so might also complain.

Izzybel · 06/06/2008 18:16

Hi everyone.

JBM, so so sorry to hear your sad news . 1 mc is hard, but 5! That is so unfair ((((hugs))))Thinking of you sweetie xx

Daisy, that's crap about Sainsburys! Glad that your DD had a lovely birthday

Natty, sorry to hear about DH. I really hope it's not bowel cancer, but as everyone has said, the sucess rate for recovery is very good.

Thankyou for everyone's kind wishes for dd's birthday. She had a lovely time and was very spoilt .
I can't believe she's one! This time last year she was a squishy little newborn, now she's a little girl, scuffing her shoes as I push her on her trike and giggling on the swings.

Pmsl at your Ds cuddling the fridge, Fairy! He must love his food

I must admit that I enjoy a bit of BB. Despite DP's protest "not on my bloody telly, your not!" I watched it last night. Davina did look great, but she never wears any colour other than black

andiem · 06/06/2008 18:16

jbm so so sorry to hear our news I have had 3mcs and it is so hard all those hopes be kind to yourself and take it easy

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 06/06/2008 18:18

Fuck, fuck, fuckity, fuck! I have some RL firemen coming to my house this evening to do a fire safety check. I forgot until just now and have been running round like a loony trying to clean and tidy. They go into every room in your house apparently to fit smoke alarms and check the windows and give you escape routes etc. All I want to do is put my trackie bottoms and t-shirt on and slob out, but I am still stuck in my daywear. I really don't want some hunky spunky fireman to see me in my trackies!

JBM, if you are around hope you are ok xxx

Norty, how are you? Shock worn off yet?

andiem · 06/06/2008 18:19

daisy what cr*p from sainsbos

lackaDAISYcal · 06/06/2008 18:32

holly, they send a full crew as well, fire engine and all, incase there is a call out whilst they are at your house!

how did the course go? I've got mine starting tomorrow.

What an afternoon. I've been sorting laundry and doing the "ironing" in my own inimitable style (ie bunging it in the drier for 10 mins to soften the creases a bit ), and for everything I put in the drier, DD pulls two things out. She has tipped the cat food and water three times today and completey trashed two baskets full of nicely flattened and folded laundry......aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhh but she is sooo cute about it and I'm sure she's only trying to help

She has got a horrible nappy rash again. She is red all over her vulva and it is obviously itchy as she keeps thumping at her nappy. We are having some air time, but I think I need to see the doc and get another potionas the ones I've got just aren't working.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 06/06/2008 18:33

You might not get hunky firemen They're not all like that unfortunately.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 06/06/2008 18:37

I know jammy, my I can always hope! My friend's dad is a fireman and he is NOT sexy, AT ALL! And yes daisy, they do come round in a fire engine! Dd will be delighted, it's just a shame ds isn't a bit older.

I've emailed you both btw.

The course was good, just a sort of introduction to it all today. Meeting everyone, getting to know everyone's bfing history, that sort of thing. Ds had a great time in the creche, shame dd didn't though . Poor little girl, she is so sweet.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 06/06/2008 18:42

Have replied, Holly

lackaDAISYcal · 06/06/2008 18:45

I replied holly, but let me know if you don't hear..there is sometimes a problem with yahoo and hotmail and mail I send to hotmail gets bumped back. Narks me no end!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 06/06/2008 19:12

OMG fitties in my house x2!!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 06/06/2008 19:26

Wow, they exceeded all expectations! They were both gorgeous.

Got your emails.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 06/06/2008 19:27

Holly

foxythesnowfox · 06/06/2008 19:35

evening

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 06/06/2008 19:42

Evening foxy!

Right, I am going out tomorrow night, what does one wear out nowadays? I haven't a clue. I was thinking black and white floral tea dress, but vamped up with really high pointy stilettoes? I just don't know! It's soooo tricky.

foxythesnowfox · 06/06/2008 19:43

Where are you going?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 06/06/2008 19:45

Proper going out, not clubbing, but to pubs in town.

Is tea dress too mumsy?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 06/06/2008 19:51

Similar to this, but just white flowers.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 06/06/2008 20:00

Looks good to me, but I'm not very clued up on such things

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 06/06/2008 20:13

Neither am I anymore jammy ! I have just spoken to a stylish friend and we are probably going shopping tomorrow day, so I think it is crisis averted! I am generally quite stylish, I think, but in a mumsy way. I have a lot of floral garments and most of my clothes come from M&S! I am 26 FFS, I need to start dressing my age!

bumperlicious · 06/06/2008 20:31

Evening all,

Bloody DD biting again. Grrr! And I know it shouldn't, but it just causes arguments between me and DH He just doesn't understand the impact . Anyway, looks like I am going to have to cut out the bed time feed as that is when she is worst, (she just necked 7oz cow's milk) but now I am working it'll mean I am feeding her once, maybe twice. My supply is just going to go down, which is just going to make the situation worse. I'm sorry to keep going on about this. You don't have to come up with any answers, just appreciate the support. DH just doesn't understand why this is sad for me. He's starting to play the "you are just doing this for yourself" card, and saying how upsetting it is for him to see me and DD get upset. But his only solution is to stop. Sorry, I'll stop whinging now.

I may have to get a play pen too as I am sick of her getting into everything pulling all my bloody washing off the clothes horse, getting into the cupboards etc. Argghhh!

Daisy, DD has a similar sounding rash all over her bum and vulva. Looks really sore.

Holly, glad your course went well, what course is it? ABM? NCT?

Andie I saw SATC last night too, I loved it! I so want those blue shoes! I just wanted to cry with envy at all the shoes and clothes.

Sputnik · 06/06/2008 20:43

Evening all.

JBM, so sorry to hear about your miscarriage, you must feel terrible. Hope you have someone in RL to give you some tlc. Try not to get too down and take care xxx

Izzybel · 06/06/2008 20:51

Shit! DD has just fallen off the bed onto her head. She screamed for a while, but is fine now and is giggling and smiling. My heart is racing! Does anyone think she should go to hospital, or will she be ok
Evening btw!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 06/06/2008 20:54

All I know is that when I banged DD's head on a door when she was quite small the HV said if she'd cried straight away she was probably OK. And that my sister dropped her DS from waist height one day and he was fine.

Sorry, that's probably not much help! My instinct is that if she doesn't show any abnormal signs, she'll be OK. But obviously ignore me if you're worried.

Izzybel · 06/06/2008 21:06

Thanks Jammy! I was actually thinking that she was likely to be ok as she cried. Just thought I would get the opinion of you wise and wonderful lot
DP has put her to bed and she's just gone to sleep.
