Thinking about getting pg again just to stop periods for a while. [grumpy]

What's happening with DH then?

HellHathNoFury · 03/06/2008 13:28

DH might be coming to work here, but otherwise he is just pissed off with his work and wants new challenges for a company that doesn't look like it's going down the pan.

foxythesnowfox · 03/06/2008 13:30

Would you work TOGETHER?

foxythesnowfox · 03/06/2008 13:31

shite, my 9 -7 rule isn't working is it?

HellHathNoFury · 03/06/2008 13:31

Oh we do it all the time.

We have worked together in lots of places. It's fine, as long as we are not each others boss.

HellHathNoFury · 03/06/2008 13:31

I didn't want to say as I am lonely and bored and didn't want you buggering off

foxythesnowfox · 03/06/2008 13:42

Ah, but I got my period today, which means I can MN, eat fairy cakes and not take the kids swimming.

I have sorted out the child trust funds though! Just got to put it in the post (and find an envelope). And am about to join WW online. £20 off at the mo. And buy some bathroom scales. And piano books. And car permit. And stairgate.

Bugger.

HellHathNoFury · 03/06/2008 13:56

omg I have had this weird feeling for a while in my mouth which feels like when you have eaten something really hot, I have been waiting for it to get better but it never does, and now I find it's a hard to cure ailment and is commonly a result of depression?! argh

it's called 'bunrt mouth syndrome' apparently. Better get myself to a GP

HellHathNoFury · 03/06/2008 14:03

But it's also caused by thrush so I might try treating that as well!

foxythesnowfox · 03/06/2008 14:06

Fury

HellHathNoFury · 03/06/2008 14:18

tbh I think it might be depression/anxiety (more anxiety). I am famed for how anxiety affects me! I have had vertigo to twitches to earaches to neck pain to random vomiting and stomach aches...all anxiety!
It seems to manifest itself physically with me.

HellHathNoFury · 03/06/2008 14:55

did I scare people off with my health dysfunction ogreness?

andiem · 03/06/2008 15:34

no I am about just got back from hairdressers

and have organised one day a week childcare for ds2 as I am supposed to be editing a book and have done feck all about it
my old childminder is going to look after him for me just till school breaks up but should be all done by then

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 03/06/2008 15:35

What do you think is causing your anxiety fury?

Foxy what trust fund did you use? I still haven't done DD's yet

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 03/06/2008 15:36

Ooh andie, what sort of book? Is that what you did for a living before?

HellHathNoFury · 03/06/2008 15:53

I used Nationwide trust fund, who resell Legal and General, who have managed to lose £30 of the £250 in 9 months.

Nice one!

HellHathNoFury · 03/06/2008 15:55

Oh Bumper anything can cause my anxiety, stresses about money, selling the car, work issues, family issues, moving overseas, or if I underbaked the potatoes or whether or not the new curtains are hanging exactly level

It could be anything, I am rubbish

lackaDAISYcal · 03/06/2008 15:56

I haven't done anything with DDs CTF voucher either . We got a reminder the other weeks saying use it by the end of August or lose it!

That would involve me being organised though!

God, my poor sister, it just gets worse for her poor fmaily. Her DH had a heart attack on sunday and is in hospital getting tests done to see how much damage has been done . His cholesterol is through the roof apparently and the stress of all that has been going on, plus him working like mad to try and keep a roof over their heads probably hasn't helped.

fury, sorry to hear about your health woes

HellHathNoFury · 03/06/2008 15:56

I am a total perfectionist and control freak. I am easily stressed!

andiem · 03/06/2008 15:56

bumper it is a text book called wait for it

nursing management of children requiring high dependency care
snazzy wot
we have done nationwide as well but cash one not share

andiem · 03/06/2008 15:58

fury sorry for your health issues too the burnt mouth thing sounds horrible

daisy your poor sis

foxythesnowfox · 03/06/2008 16:41

shit Daisy

don't go to Abbey. I tried 5 times to pay it in there, but they couldn't organise an orgy in a brothel.

Brittania are giving a decent rate of 5.75% + a 1.25% bonus for two years. Am transferring the others from share accounts with Abbey. DD1s lost money too, but DS2s was OK. Have no idea how that worked.

LittleMissNorty · 03/06/2008 16:42

Fury - I suffer anxiety too - and that's what I'm going through atm and its horrible....i've hardly eaten anything since last week when I posted how awful I felt otherwise I throw up....just got to get coventry and op out of the way and I'll be ok ....meanwhilse have raided the bathroom cabinet for the spare packet of AD's....hope you feel better soon

God Daisy... puts all my worries into perspective....can they not just hand back the keys and get the council to house them (sorry if that's too simplistic)....how stressful.....

LittleMissNorty · 03/06/2008 16:43

btw, we used Brittania too for DDs CTF (stocks) and its ok AFAIK

lackaDAISYcal · 03/06/2008 17:00

DD has developed a new way of getting off the sofa....head first

They are in the middle of bankruptcy proceedings. The house is on the market but the council wont look at them until they are officially homeless. I just wish there was something I could do, but if things go on the way they are with interest rates and the economy.....it could be us soon!

Norty, I hope you feel better soon. Is there any way you can reduce your workload a bit prior to the operation? Take as much time as you need after the op as well; don't rush to get back to work. {{{{hugs}}}} to you lovely lady

We have an unemployment/illness policy for our mortgage that we are considering claiming on as I'm signed off. Wondering just how easy it will be and whether the fact that I am shortly to go back on maternity leave will give them an "out" to avoid paying the claim?

But, on a positive note, I have a "new" friend coming over for coffee on Monday . She is a mum I know vaguely from the health visitor's clinic and she is on the same local netwroking site as me. Anyway, her DD is a couple of months younger than mine and she is also pregnant again and due a few weeks after me. So, we are going to go through it together and give each other some moral support
