HollyPutTheKettleOn · 02/06/2008 22:33

Yes, I will make it even if I have to walk to London!

lackaDAISYcal · 02/06/2008 22:50

yup foxy, 18/29 is mon/tues, but I can do any day that week if the beginning doesn't suit everyone.

i have heartburn shouldn't have added a few spoonfuls of horseradish to the mash tonight!

Am off to bed; bloody knackered and DS will be up very very early.

holly, don't feed him. It seems like you do too mcuh for him at times and he comes over as being less than helpful with the DCs......either that or withold his conjugal rights

Aug 19th is OK but the 20th would be better for us. However, I realise that the ideal day is unlikely to coincide for all of us, just wanted to pose the 20th as a possibility?

Wet and miserable here this morning

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 03/06/2008 08:10

Later in the week would be better for me too if we are leaning that way (I work mon, tues, weds) but i am happy to take a few days off too see you guys Plus I work flexi time so I can earn extra time off.

LittleMissNorty · 03/06/2008 08:24

I'll come and need plenty of notice as I'll take some leave from work as well....

Blimey I feel old, I've just renewed my car insurance and I've held a liscence for 21 years and have 12 years no claims

andiem · 03/06/2008 08:38

morning all

later in the week would be better for me so I can get my washing done and tidy before daisy arrives

holly your dh is being a twunt it must be in the air I have organised mum's night out to see satc movie on thurs and now dh has announced he is going to spain will now have to get babysitter but he will be paying he says he can claim it on expenses

mind you he pays for everything now anyway

must dash wet school run to do back later

HellHathNoFury · 03/06/2008 08:55

Morning all.

I can meet up. What day doesn't matter given I will have to take a day off anyway.

FrazzledFairyFay · 03/06/2008 09:41

Hooray for big meet-up . Any day that week is fine for me. My offer of a room still stands if anyone would like to stay over-night.

lackaDAISYcal · 03/06/2008 09:42

I'm a drowned rat this morning....i hate wet school runs. DS wanted me to take the car, but as it's only a 10 minute wak, but the time I get everyone in the car, then out again, plus pram in and out of the boot I'm soaked anyway so no point. At least DD was nice and snug in her pram.

Mega housework binge today......it's two weeks since I had my last big session and we're back to square one. I need to work on
doing a bit every dayto keep it nice.

20th is fine for me as long as it's fine for andie....nothing planned here for that week at all.

foxythesnowfox · 03/06/2008 09:46

I can do 20th, but DP might be coming back later in that week, or beginning of the next - not sure. He's only back for a week and then off again

FrazzledFairyFay · 03/06/2008 09:48

How long is he away for Foxy?

foxythesnowfox · 03/06/2008 09:52

All farking summer!

Actually its Aug/Sept, but he's got masses of work to do. Now he goes into his busy time, so I expect to have my next conversation with him in October.

Every cloud has a silver lining then

FrazzledFairyFay · 03/06/2008 09:59

Foxy

lackaDAISYcal · 03/06/2008 10:05

foxy, you, me and tallulah (and occasionally andie, and sputnik and anyone else whose DH is away for long periods) can open a bottle of virtual wine and commiserate on our part-time single parenthood and lust after the likes of Gordn Ramsay and that bloke from Prison Break.

DH is applying for a job near Leeds.....for a company who make, amongst other things, "exceedingly good cakes". fat fecking lot of use to his coeliac wife...harumph.

if he gets though he'll be home every night and I fear it'll be the divorce courts for us soon after

foxythesnowfox · 03/06/2008 10:12

I can show you where GR lives Daisy, if you fancy stalking him when you are down

foxythesnowfox · 03/06/2008 10:13

Aww thanks FF, but its OK really. I'm used to it and the children are pretty chilled so we'll just have a nice time

lackaDAISYcal · 03/06/2008 10:15

oooohhhhh.....does he live near you then?

.....of course he does which is why you saw his wife in Waitrose!

smelly bum alert......a good time to be off I think, but beofre I go, I weighed myself this morning for the first time in three weeks and was expecting to be , but not as as I was to see I've lost another two pounds. That's a stone I've lost since getting pregnant!!!! I wouldn't recommend it as a guaranteed weight loss programme though

foxythesnowfox · 03/06/2008 10:18

ooh, ooh, can I have a proud mummy moment?

I meant to say last night, and I'm not really here, I've only logged on to see how OJ and Steve are doing today

LO says 'Hello'. We'll actually she says 'Ello in a chirpy cockney sparrah voice. And its definately hello because when I took her into the bathroom and her brother and sister were in the bath she lifted her hand to wave and gave a chirpy 'ello!

I'll be back after 7

andiem · 03/06/2008 11:03

foxy so sweet

HellHathNoFury · 03/06/2008 12:53

£75pm to store some stuff in a storage facility!!!

Good lord. I think I'll just sell it on Ebay instead.

foxythesnowfox · 03/06/2008 13:12

try your local council for a lock-up garage Fury.

How the heck are you today?

HellHathNoFury · 03/06/2008 13:25

I am fine. Annoyed as I was invited to an awards ceremony at the o2 today, but I have been informed I am too busy to go as I am working on an urgent issue. Whatever. Pah.

I am also trying to work out who is coming to my party so I can organise enough food. Plus I have vegetarians coming which will be a challenge. Still some people not answered so I am getting round to chasing them up!

I am also trying to sell my car as DH is leaving his job and therefore we can't afford to keep it. Trouble is it's a bit pricey car and I think we might have a hard time shifting it. Grr.r

How are you?
