twelveyeargap · 28/05/2008 08:58

largeginandtonic · 28/05/2008 09:00

Thinking of you this morning JW x

Pinkjenny · 28/05/2008 09:59

I am loving the fact that there is a thread from someone asking what cute baby clothes to take to hospital. There was even a suggestion of dungarees.

That's so the kind of question I used to ask. Aaah, the blissful ignorance.

Pinkjenny · 28/05/2008 10:19

SOH - Of course you're bonkers, that's why we love you. Only joking, I think you're probably one of the most sane people on here. The support you gave to that lady last night was really special.

largeginandtonic · 28/05/2008 10:19

Hehe i saw that too PJ, couldnt bring myself to post. Bless her cotton socks

I am fecking sick, sea bands are a con. I went to the doc for the trush stuff (nice) and he gave me a prescription but as B is one my mat excemption has run out and i dont yet have one for this baby. I paid the charge and went back half hour later, turns out the prescription is in several parts. 1 for the cream, 1 for the pessary. The doc has prscribed 3 pessarys and 1 lot of cream. I am supposed to pay £28 for a script!!!! I told her to go back to the doc and sort it out but there was no way i was forking out £28 for a pessary i can get for a tenner over the counter. I can claim it back but really that is ridiculous?

Wgat lady did the mad old hippy help?

She is not a mad old hippy really and her skirt was very pretty. I quite fancied it myself. I have told you vices are overrated and nothing to be pround of. DH was on a witch hunt, you should have just patted him on the head and told him he was pretty. That usually sorts him out

at the chemist LG&T. I get unnecessarily wound up in these situations and always, always start screaming ab dabs, which makes me look like a complete lunatic.

She was posting to a lady that was feeling distressed last night, and it struck me how lucky we are to have such lovely May 07ers.

Anyhoo, any further forward on finding out your dates?

AbbyLou · 28/05/2008 10:25

Thinking of you today Jam, I'm sure everything will be fine.
We're off to the hell that is Toys R Us shortly to choose my niece a birthday present. She will be 5 next week and has got a diso party on Saturday. Ds is sooo excited. Dsis has asked me to get her a Disney Princess vanity case complete with nake up. Sounds lush I'm sure.
Hope you're feeling better soon LGT. I had nasty sickness with both mine, an't imagine looking after all your others with it too.

ShowOfHands · 28/05/2008 10:28

LG&T, go to Boots, don't tell them you're pg and say 'one of your finest pessaries quick sharp Mr Pharmacy Man'. I should have got you one on Sunday. I'm sorry, I didn't think. And £28?! I'd have sat down on the floor in my patchwork robe and sung medieval war songs until they pelted the darn pessaries at me and begged me to get out. Feckers. When are the brood home?

TYG, dh says you should write to the Chief Constable of the MET as burglary reduction is a national policing priority atm and such feckery should be highlighted for the head honcho.

Oh God that poor woman last night. She's always so lovely and struggling so much. Puts it in perspective.

largeginandtonic · 28/05/2008 10:28

The children are ferral Abby i am doing nothing.

Pink i was a little crazy. I am going to lie and get one over the counter saying i am not pregnant. Screw them. Different pharmacy of course.

Saturday SOH, he wants them all week

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 28/05/2008 10:31

Your DH is so pretty LG&T. And cruel. Fatal combination.

I made that skirt I did. It's made out of curtain remnants.

Toys r Us is like getting stuck in a candy floss machine with an evil clown singing lullabies at you. Feels like it anyway.

largeginandtonic · 28/05/2008 10:36

He is mean, i keep telling him he will have no friends if carries on...

Soon as you left he said "oohh, bit quiet now, think they will come back soon?" He also wants to adopt Mathilda, well who wouldnt? B is now considered inept for his lack of waving skills too.

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 28/05/2008 10:49

I wonder what the middle ground is? There's Beau who's too busy eating fruit to wave and Mathilda who starts to twitch if she hasn't waved for a few minutes. Seriously, she waves at my nipple before she feeds. She is currently waving at the postman. Mathilda did like N. In fact she liked you rather a lot too. And your chips.

How's Beau's mouth now? You're coming to Norfolk next time.

largeginandtonic · 28/05/2008 10:53

We are most definately. Am looking forward to the a roads and cows

His mouth looks worse today, only because of the scab. He is unfazed by it. It didnt stop him polishing off his button cake on Monday.

He refused a strawberry!!! I nearly fell over.

I read the thread, you were lovely and very helpful. Poor Susie, i see her post ofetn and think she is so together.

Time for me to eat, but what?

OP posts:
Pinkjenny · 28/05/2008 11:05

L still doesn't clap, although she does wave now. And she keeps pulling this Deirdre Barlow-esque face, sticking her neck out and gurning, in an overenthusiastic grinning effort.

Very strange, this child.

ShowOfHands · 28/05/2008 11:09

I'm having noodles.

SKYTVADDICT · 28/05/2008 11:12

I am at work and boss due back in office in about 15 minutes and I really can't be bothered!

C claps and waves and blows kisses bless him. He also wobbled a couple of steps from wall to chair arm yesterday and is getting much steadier on his feet, I think we may class them as first steps for his "book".

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well LG&T. Dry toast to eat? What a pain re script! I was without mat exemption form for a couple of weeks because I forgot to apply for new one but luckily didn't need anything.

scootermum · 28/05/2008 12:07
