Happy Birthday Alana x

Creena · 22/05/2008 10:32

Happy First Birthday Alana-May! I hope your lovely girl has a fabulous day, Pebble!

April - I'm becoming uncontrolably excited now! Keep meaning to check out your FB page to see more pics of the lovely Ella in her Minnie dress! I soooooo want to have a girl this time round.

Hi to everyone else! How are you all doing? Nice and sunny up here - hope it stays that way for the weekend.....

Creena · 22/05/2008 10:34

Hang on a second! Have just read your post LG&T and Sky's response to it......

Do you think you might be up of the duff?!! Or are you definitely up the duff but trying to find out how far along you are?!

I really should try and pop in here more often - I just can't keep up with all the exciting news.

largeginandtonic · 22/05/2008 10:37

I am up the duff with no clue to how far along i am! Could be 7 could be 4 I assumed all the bleeding after the Colposcopy was a period but maybe not... had 2 very positve lines on Saturday lunchtime having felt dredful for 2 days. Thought i had a bug and would lose some weight

Meant to also say congrats Elkie x

Creena · 22/05/2008 10:57

Blimey! Massive congratulations to you, LG&T! I hope they get the results to you soon. How are you feeling? If you've got all the early pregnancy symptoms like MS etc, I bet you'e closer to 7 weeks than 4....

Also, Elkie - congratulations are in order to you too! Wow! What lovely news for everyone.

JamInMyWellies · 22/05/2008 12:07

largeginandtonic · 22/05/2008 12:11

Oh Jam, i am surebit will be ok. Can you ask for an earlier scan because of last time? They should really. You must be thinking of it constantly and it must be so tiring. What are your symptoms so far? You know that crampy type pains are normal and it is just everything stretching.

MKG · 22/05/2008 12:29

Good morning all!! Happy B-Day Alana!

Question: What are doodles?

JamInMyWellies · 22/05/2008 12:31

its a type of sneaker for babies.

MKG · 22/05/2008 12:33

Jam everything will be fine. Just take it easy and rest your body as much as posible.

MKG · 22/05/2008 12:35

Thanks I new it was some type of shoe, but I've never her of a doodle . . . unless it's cheese doodles. . .. m m m salty, fake cheese product crunchy snack. Is 7:30 am too early?

JamInMyWellies · 22/05/2008 12:41

oh I love cheese doodles used to have them when I had a hangover, even better is the luminous orange fingers you have for hours after.

MKG · 22/05/2008 12:46

I know it is the best left overs, because like an hour later there is still residue to lick off.

Must get some today.

Pinkjenny · 22/05/2008 12:50

Sky - am depositing L with my mum on Sunday now as I am drowning my sorrows in wine and chocolate by way of compensation over the meet-up debarcle. Saturday I have a birthday BBQ to go to. (yawn)

Sorry.

Unless you can bob over on Sunday and I'll arrange a visit around that?

TillyScoutsmum · 22/05/2008 12:56

Not been on for a while but have just seen this in active convos..

LG&T - massive congratulations ... 7 dc's (or maybe 8 ) Good god woman, I come out in a cold sweat thinking about how I would cope with 2. Hope the ms eases a bit soon

Hi to everyone else x

scootermum · 22/05/2008 13:42

Hello all,

First.OMYGOD Gnadt! Well done you..Congrats hon..

Sorry havent been on in a while..I have been in hospital!..They thought I had appendicitus..then they said I didnt. Then they said maybe it was just a stomach ulcer..then I felt better and they sent me home..and now Im waiting to see the consultant in 2 weeks to find out what the hell it is.I beg of you!But apart from the odd agonizing stomach cramp every half an hour or so all well.Poor DH did his exam yesterday and despite everything thinks it went ok and the girls are fine and dandy..

Oh and have finally managed to post off Abbys KK's (will arrive tomorra all being well) and Cams mags, so at least I have managed to get something done...feel very useless at the moment as I cant do much with the girls or round the house and cant go in to work though am going to try next Tues if am feeling ok..

Can anyone summarize the last 3 weeks for me..I am too lazyill to go back over the last 3 weeks to find out all the news..

Hope you are all well..

ShowOfHands · 22/05/2008 14:05

I can summarize:

It turns out Jam's house was built on an Indian burial ground and after the 7th night of ancient spirits in her bed, she's packed up and moved back to civilisation.

AM has been on a beach holiday to Skegness. She bought a Kiss Me Quick Hat and some rock with her name on and is pregnant with twins.

SkyTV has seen the error of her ways, thrown out the television and taken up crocheting instead.

PinkJenny has moved house. She lives in an annexe at ScouseWorldHospital.

LG&T found two extra children under the sofa that she'd forgotten about in the throng and has named them Rufus and Marigold.

TYG is the first Irish lady to win mayorship of London and is introducing free icecream for all as her first policy.

Pebble has house swapped with MKG.

Shall I go on?

PS So glad you're home and back. Whereabouts is the pain?

largeginandtonic · 22/05/2008 14:06

Scoot! You poor love, what an ordeal, have they no clue? What happened, who had the girls? Scary stuff my sweet. Glad you are back safe and sound with us now

MKG these are doodles I love them! You can even chuck them in the washing machine, fab.

twelveyeargap · 22/05/2008 14:06

Blinking eck! Sorry you've been sick. Have they done an endoscopy to look at your stomach?

largeginandtonic · 22/05/2008 14:08

Marigold and Rufus, thats it. The twins have been named

OP posts:
SKYTVADDICT · 22/05/2008 14:09

So sorry to hear you are sick scoot.

Probably do a visit another time PJ if thats ok.

Any results yet LG&T?

scootermum · 22/05/2008 14:18

They are going to do one I think after I have seen the consultant..Pain in jsut in stomach..felt like those gripey pains when you get squits at first..then felt like that times about a million which is when I went off to hosp..Their best guess is now stomach ulcer..but obv the hypochondriac here is thinking bowel cancer..
No am sure it wont be that..it wont be will it?

The cm had the girls and DH when he wasnt revising (my parents are on holiday for a month) and my two lovely best baby mates helped out too, bless them..

I am a bit fed up really now..it seems to have been a bit of a lousy year as I was so ill after having Mae-bean, then the whole kife threatening thing, now this..and of course L quite possibly having been possessed by demons, so unruly is her behaviour

at your summary though SOH..

Off to get the girls now as CM is having a well deserved afternoon off, then to my lovely friends house for tea and sympathy and help with the little Misses..be back later..nice to see you all..
