anyone sobbing yet?
Ahhh feel better now. Thanks btw Cam

AM, did you run out of credit?..PMSL

SKYTVADDICT · 13/06/2008 20:07

C doesn't like being told no but does whatever he wants anyway, usually with a smile. If we physically take him away he is starting to arch his back and scream.

DP is so soft with him though and so is my mum. Its causing me problems when I am here alone with him due to things like they let him in the kitchen and I don't and he really doesn't understand why!

We are not allowed to watch BB either (and don't really want to) but we are allowed to watch football - don't get me started on that - why oh why oh why is it even on out tv!!!

Madamejaffa · 13/06/2008 20:11

Agreed SKY... Why do they even put the football on, it's rubbish Cricket, now I can understand, thats a real sport!

TillyScoutsmum · 13/06/2008 20:12

Ah - but its a great negotiating tool in our house - DP can watch football (while I mn) and I get my reality tv fix

AprilMeadow · 13/06/2008 20:14

ok scrub that idea! Mrsjb and i have worked it out with a little help from elkidee

JamInMyWellies · 13/06/2008 20:26

I dont think elkee has it right AM. Unless she is trying to be a little evasive in her posting style. Doesnt really write like who you think it is. If you know what I mean.

Madamejaffa · 13/06/2008 20:30

LOL....It's only 3 weeks, we can wait that long surely. We can, sob!

cameroonmama · 13/06/2008 20:58

MrsJB I am FB you.

cameroonmama · 13/06/2008 21:16

flf, did you once receive a parcel from me?

largeginandtonic · 13/06/2008 21:31

You lot crack me up

The naughty one was sent to bed with silent treatment, he was sorry but remained indignant this morning. I have told him No Doctor Who, he is very upset.

TYG it is an old friend, he has been to tea here before. No idea where it has come form i blame his father

I am exhausted, been at work this morning and crashed when i got home. Luckily Beau went to bed too. I have felt very sick today too, must be a growth spurt.

? CM whats your email?

anneme · 13/06/2008 22:04

Hello everyone - have popped in to wave at you all. Have been trying to catch up before posting but will never get there. Big news here is S is walking..ish...when he can be bothered.

Boys....ha....just very very loud. Or is that just my two? Nursery suggested that we pretend that DS1 has a volume knob (so to speak) that we turn down when he is too loud. He took it that we were turning the volume UP...gave up on that idea.

Nearly summer holiday time - hooray!

JamInMyWellies · 13/06/2008 23:34

Scoot, where are you did you see James swoon Mcavoy on the telly tonight. [phwoar]

Lupins71 · 14/06/2008 06:46

Good morning everyone, my little rascal hads has me up since 5am, didnt get in from work till 11.30pm and bed at 12 grrrrr little bugger

LGT you have had a mutsy would you go for mutsy with duo seat or phil and teds with doubles kit I may have offer of either altho not with duo seat or double kit, I have always loved the look of the mutsy but am wondering if it will be too heavy for long walks and doing hills (not huge steep ones) or go for the p&t probably more practical but not sure ds will stay in bottom seat for long, oh the decisions Ihave in life, how are you getting on with your buzz I find the steering a bit stiff on mine especially compare to zapp or freestyle

Tilly well done on ordering you stunning dress, if you are looking for wedding favours my mum does some lovely ones, let me know and i will give you her details

CAM we like to see a varied diet

ABBY have a lovely weekend

ANNEME well done on the walking

Ohhh I want more sleep

cameroonmama · 14/06/2008 07:07

the mongoose got all the chooks last night. None left.

flf my email is stephensonkuk at yahoo dot co dot uk

AbbyLou · 14/06/2008 07:37

Oh no Cam, sorry about the chooks!

Pinkjenny · 14/06/2008 09:38

Cam - oh that's awful. Sorry about the chicks.

largeginandtonic · 14/06/2008 10:09

Oh no Cam That is awful! He was determined, they keep coming back to look for weaknesses

Lups the buzz is great, my only bug is the steering.

The Mutsy is nice, not off road enough though. Very long with the duo seat. I would Phil and Teds tbh. It is much better off road and more sturdy. The seats in the duo are little too.

Kids all up too early, why do they not learn???

Am off to watch Saturday kitchen

MKG · 14/06/2008 14:08

Cam-I'm sorry about the chickens. Now according to my logic

You used to eat the eggs.
The mongoose ate the chickens.

You need to eat the mongoose now.

Madamejaffa · 14/06/2008 18:50

Sorry about the Chickens Cam...

Had a nice day today, been swimming, restaurant lunch and a little shopping. Wasn't sure it was going to be, thought it would be stressful. A and I made the biggest (most sensible) decission of the moment a few days ago. We've seen our GP, got the gear to help. Today was the day! We gave up smoking!!
, I don't normally bite, but at the moment I might.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

AprilMeadow · 14/06/2008 23:37

Cam sorry to hear about the chooks

Well done Mr&MrsJB on giving up that nasty habit! Dh gave up 10yrs ago and has never looked back. We are all here to help you over the next few difficult weeks, but it will be worth it in the end and think how much money you will save! Not only that but food will taste nicer and you will have a better sense of smell.

Been out tonight for my stepdads 65th birthday. What a painful night it was!! I loathe my step bro and sis and their other halves. My mum wasnt there as she in on business in LA and there were several bitchy comments made - they want to be thakful i hadnt had a drink or i wouldnt have held back. I was and still am so

Going to let dh have a lie in tomorrow and take him breakfast in bed with the kiddies. Jack is yet to write daddy's card so will have to do that when he wakes

Oh and kitchen got completed today (just painting and flooring to do)

cameroonmama · 15/06/2008 08:45

Morning, well done Mrs and Mrs JB, it'll be hard work but worth it in the end. Dh tried several times to give up but failed but then he was hypnotised and lo and behold, instant success he hasn't looked back since, that was December. It's great you are doing it together to egg support each other.

dh has taken the two bigger dc for breakfast in the national park with a friend and his ds. They are having a fry up outdoor. So the kids have made their cards and are going to surprise him outdoors. He has just texted to say they are currently sitting watching a lioness

MKG, when I catch that mongoose I am sending him over to Jam. She really needs him. She can eat him when she is finished with him if she likes but he looked a bit on the scrawny side to me

April, what a nightmare, you are very diplomatic. Your mum would be proud

Lupins71 · 15/06/2008 09:10

CAM so sorry about the chooks , wow at your dc watching a lioness over breakfast - beats cbeebies!

LGT thanks for that I will see what deal I can strike for the p&t then - altho its red and I dont normally do red buggies

MJ good luck - my mum is currently going through this life changing decision as well - she has been a 40 a day for 40 years smoker - hope you all succeed we will be here to support you

AM well dont on holding yourself together remember dont lower yourself to thier level - good news on the kitchen

We got dp a hamper together for fathers day as its today he leaves us, filled it with all sorts of yummies that he wont think to buy himself, he is hoping his friend is going to cook for him as he has to good for his grandad as he is a full time carer, I will miss him but at the same time I think it will do hhim good to learn to fend for himself and it will be like a break for me - I know I still have the dc to look after but they are usually pretty easy

Happy Fathers Day to all the daddies out there hope you all have a lovely day

I take it back Willow is easy, Arlen is a mini tornado of chaos who is determined to trash the house - Im sure thats his goal in life, my mobile is offically dead having not recovered from swimming in the toilet

JamInMyWellies · 15/06/2008 09:12

Happy Fathers Day all. A currently defrosting the sausages as I forgot to take the out the freezer last night.

Cam sned that mongoose my way I have some very healthy looking cockrals for him to devour. I am so sorry though those poor chooks.

Quick question buggy type people, have jsut sold my Quinny buzz on ebay for a very paltry sum of money but never mind the thing is cluttering up DP's garage and we need to make way for the Phil & Teds vibe. . Anyway we put that it would cost about £30 to courier but of course have no idea which courier is the best. Who do you recommend? Much Ta.

Have a lovely rest of the day.

Oh by the way well done Monsieur and Madame JB I gave up when pregnant with Archie as did DP saved us a fortune. I do occasionally slip normally when there is wine involved. Try the hypnotisim tis meant to be fab.

elkiedee · 15/06/2008 09:28

mjb, what a good and brave decision, good luck with keeping it up.
