scootermum · 06/06/2008 19:38

whispers

Madamejaffa · 06/06/2008 19:50

Is that Mikey scoot? The visually Impaired guy. He is going to do well in there I sense.
hehe, I LOL at the Thai girl.....she was so funny, I'm sure she was an umpa lumpa from Charlie and the Chocolate factory. They are going to be mean this year I hope think.

JamInMyWellies · 06/06/2008 19:56

DP has put his foot down we are not watching it. That is until wk 2 when he will succumb to the BB drug.

Glad Mae had a fab birthday.

helenelisabeth · 06/06/2008 20:05

pinkjenny - noticed you are from Maghull - I am from Maghull! Live in Southport now though. Mum still lives in Lydiate and am thinking of moving DD1 to a school there.

twelveyeargap · 06/06/2008 20:18

Big Brother. I hate it. DH was doing "research" on a possible winner, vis-a-vis betting. Half the contestants look like they were picked to fill some sort of bizarre Channel 4 equal opportunities quota and the rest are the usual sad mix of fame hunting dolly birds and weirdos.

Madamejaffa · 06/06/2008 20:23

Absolutely agree with you TYG......

largeginandtonic · 06/06/2008 20:34

I am not watching it is too cringe worthy.

Have had the day from hell, headache that wouldnt go stopped me from going to work and then it just got worse! As i walked all the kids to get dd form netball i started getting the weird blury vision and just knew a migraine was coming. I fed the kids ravioli (out of a tin >) and they had a feast of sweeties for pudding while i died on the couch. I am pretty sure B has eaten some Liquorice allsorts, foxs glacier mints and some odd jelly sweets. I am so useless.

Headache gone now and have just eaten a bowl of cereal so am hoping i will be ok now.

TYG i nearly bought that buggy a while ago! It was lovely to push, we have a Mamas and Papas shop in Southampton, lovely things in there. An umbrella buggy is always a good buy imho. I cant believe you are 33 weeks! I am hoping that dh will be back for the scan. You cant go traipsing all the way over here! I am rusty on my delivery skills

MrsJB post more, we miss you!

Jam still stiffling laughter at 'shredder' man. Lollollol

Scoot the party sounds like a huge sucess! Well done you, especailly as you have felt so rotten recently. Did you get any Rice Dream yet? Rest this weekend as the party will have taken it out of you. Any luck on persuading dh to have another cute girlie baby?

OP posts:
Madamejaffa · 06/06/2008 20:49

I'm far too innocent boring to post lots and keep up with you filthy lot ladies.

Scoot how can your dh possibly not say yes to more devine scoots. You have the cutest girls.

AprilMeadow · 06/06/2008 23:17

TYG, blimey 33wks has gone so fast! I love that buggy as well, its such a nice colour. I liked the fact that it has a proper harness... the luna i have from M&P is going on ebay! Ella fell out of it whilst strapped in - the straps dont go stright over the shoulder like maclarens etc. I bought this instead silver cross pop in blossom

LG&T, right thats it once i am free from my working duties i will be done to make sure that you are ok and give a little helping hand.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAE - sorry its late in the day.

JAM, oh my god that is sooooooo funny i actually spat my drink over the table!

MrsJB, i am so sorry to hear about poor little pebbles It seems like so long since we last spoke!

Had a great time last night and was great that we (sunshine.co.uk) won an award. Will pop a pic up in a mo showing hair do and dress.

Hope you are all well x

AprilMeadow · 06/06/2008 23:27

scootermum · 07/06/2008 09:26

Look at the dazzling blonde!Wit woo!You look a hottie AM!

DH has said we can have another one when L is 5 or when she has grown out of having a paddy every 3 minutes whichever comes first..so I am coaching her on anger management in desperate hope she will wake up on day and behave like an angel But then if she did that I wouldnt know what to do with myself and she wouldnt be her I guess..no little Scoots here any time soon I think

Got some rice dream yes and you were right superior to soya yuck in every way Thanks ladies.Did have a wee bit of party food yesterday (couldnt not really)and I feel ok still..will be back to boredom today though..

BB is total tripe.I dont care.I will watch it for two weeks then get bored I expect then go back for the last week and the final.Unless the pretty one proves to be a goer and gets his top off (letchy moi?)

Off to Cambridge today to hopefully get a lovely frock and hat (or poss fascinator, not sure) for Ascot. So had better go and make self look presentable..have a nice day all..

(I hearr ravioli out of the tin largegandt..bet the kids loved it )

AprilMeadow · 07/06/2008 10:32

WHy is it that when you have your hair done at a salon it looks perfect but when you try and re-create it i still looks fluffy? I have blow-dried and ghd'd mine but it still looks fluufy, not the slick and sleek look of the previous day

We too are at the thinking of having a 3rd but not til Jack is at school.

Thank you MrsJB for the card and piccies of Jorja. I LOVE the hair do . Of course we will be seeing you on the 9th, just let me know where and the Meadow clan will be there x

Lupins71 · 07/06/2008 13:26

AM wow blondie your brave - looks great, my luna is gone the straps are really unsafe imo - i did get sent the bumper bar but still not alot they recommend about the straps

Gotta go little man at the top of the stairs again

MKG · 07/06/2008 13:47

AM-Love the hair.

Good morning I am looking for the weekend off from work, and it's going to be about 100 degrees today and tomorrow so that means we get to blow up the pool. Yeah!! The kids love the water and last night I bought some totally ghetto plastic chairs for outside to sit and enjoy the weather in.

Everyday my boys get cuter and cuter.

Pinkjenny · 07/06/2008 18:19

Hi all

Just briefly added some piccies whilst my mum looks after L in the living room.

largeginandtonic · 07/06/2008 20:27

Nice blonde do AM, i am glad the eveing went well. Lovely to have pics to remember an evening like that too.

Pink she is a sweetie, lovely pic you text me earlier too I am a bit concerned that your house always looks immaculate and my house, um, does not. SOH and dh are used to the chaos now and i am sure politely sit quiet but it really is madness with snot on the walls!!!

I had a bad morning, Hugo (for the 3rd day running) has managed to not get the loo on time\faff\whatever and i have had to scrape poo of bum, legs and feet before attacking the floor and toilet seat. No excuse for it. I am very he was warned yesterday that it would be a cold shower if he did it again... so at half past 7 this morning i was screaming blue murder (the kids ran for cover), scraping poo up and washing him in a VERY cold shower. He was not impressed. You are all horrified aren't you You thought the controlled ignoring crying was bad enough. I was livid.

The rest of the day was ok, dh phoned right in the middle of me making scrambled eggs and mushrooms for them, but it was lovely to talk to him. He very busy

I am so tired, i feel like i have been run over by a truck and keep having to undo my top button on my jeans. I had better be 10 weeks and not blimmin 6...

Kids all in bed, phew. They had home out together chinese in front of Doctor Who and donuts for pudding Bad mommy all round today!

Lovely weather we are having though.

LG&T--any day we survive and the children haven't totally taken over is a good one in my book.

SKYTVADDICT · 07/06/2008 22:25

Cute photos PJ. I will try and add some new ones later in the week.

I thought my mornings were bad LG&T. Wonder if he'll do it tomorrow?

DD2 definitely has the pox so I will have the next few days confined to home to try and do some jobs. Shame for her as we have had to cancel her party today and its her birthday tomorrow. She is not happy!

Madamejaffa · 07/06/2008 22:50

lg&t..... I've done the cold shower thing on Maddie more than once...... but then I'm as cruel as you....

My house looked immaculate when I only had H, along came Maddie with a licence for distruction and I gave up. Now it looks a little rough round the edges like a shit hole. Can't begin to imagine how you could keep it pristein with your brood.

PJ, fab photo's... Must get one on of J, will give you all a giggle, she went to the hairdressers yesterday Ummmm(basin head)

Happy Birthday to DD2 for tomorow SKY, shame she's got the pox, poor thing.

AM, it is ages since we spoke, you may be neglecting your MSN at the moment me thinks, but I will try to phone you one evening this week..... maybe tomorow actually if you are around, Sunday is a good night for me if OK with you.

Had a really fab evening tonight, park, friends, fish & chips, rounders and then a fun fair on the way home.

Maddie has been an angel today Please make a note of this somewhere as you will/do not hear me say it often.

Lupins71 · 08/06/2008 08:24

MKG hope you ad a lovely day lazing by the pool

PJ she is soooo sweet, love the cake - where did you get/ make that?

LGT what a nightmare for you with hugo, I had a friend whos ds used to do this it was awful - unfortunatly it became an obsession with him and he only got clean when he was 8 - ewwwwwww, hope the cold showers shock him into getting the message, wish I was nearer and could come and lend a hand - you are always welcome to come and have a break in rainy devon

SKY what a shame for your dd, hope the party goes ahead soon for her

We had a lovely day yesterday, took some munchies and went and sat in a meadow that me and dd found day before, dp was really relaxed and the kids were very cute

Anyone fancy doing a mountain of ironing for me, oh and a load of ebay listing,

AprilMeadow · 08/06/2008 08:57

Pink, L is gorgeous!! and her cake is amazing.

LG&T at Hugs! Jack did go through a stage like that (although not quite as messy) and it took a good few months to get every poo on the toilet. I thinkwe started the training in August and i would say that by January he was 100% dry and clean. I hope you have a better day today.

Lups, your meadow picnic sounds very Darling Buds of May!

MrsJB, i know sorry!! I am in this evening. Normally have E down by 7.45 so anytime after is great x

I have managed to sell on ebay all of Ella's 6-9mth clothes, bath seat, bumbo & tray, 0-6mth grobags, i think i got aboyut £100 for the lot which was good i thought. I just have my feeding tops to list now and the Luna and then i think thats most of the baby bits gone

She is very funny at the moment toddling around saying 'hiya, hiya, hiya'. Her confidence grows everyday and she can even change direction without falling over. She loves her dollies and is always holding them and patting them on the back Her third tooth is coming through and causing a bit of pain poor little thing. I was up with her between 12 & half 2.

largeginandtonic · 08/06/2008 09:53

Hugs has been clean and dry for months! He has just started doing this weird mess thing. He knows he is in the wrong and has just been lazy.

I am better this morning, thank goodness. No poo! It helps when the morning starts off on a brioche and pineapple and not poo and pants.

Nice weather again, should really do something. Am just so tired by lunchtime. I took them all shopping to Waitrose yesterday, that was fun! I want to get Hugs and Jonah some doodles as they are still clomping round in winter shoes. May venture in to town >

Hi all, long time no see. I'm sorry I've been so crap with posting, I am in the midst of report writing and it's taking up all my time.
We are all well here. R has just got her 6th tooth now and is beginning to want to walk holding poeple's hands. I don't think she'll be long. Dh has taken then out for a walk down the canal while I try and get some work done. I hate being stuck inside when the weather is gorgeous, might see if I can take the laptop outside!
I'm on tenterhooks at the moment as my best friend was due on Thursday. It's their first baby and they're so excited. They're a little apprehensive as they already know the baby has got both clubbed feet but they are well prepared mentally now I think.
