Hi Jam!!

We definitely need to see the new do AM. I am thinking of a change in the hair arena too. Never have time to straighten it any more, which means its curly and down one day, curly and up the next, down the next, up the next, geddit? I am starting to despise it now. I used to be so glamorous and now I am a state. Maybe a change of hairstyle is just what is needed. Inspire me AM!

Am so of all of your little beans. My next door neighbour, who I love BTW and is preggers with her third, suggested that maybe I wait until L is two before trying for another. Maybe that's because she keeps seeing me flying in and out of the house, packing the car, unloading the drier, wrestling small wriggly person on my hip, all the while muttering obscenities under my breath.

JamInMyWellies · 05/06/2008 13:18

Lord knows what my new neighbours think of me I dont mutter the obscenities they just come out very loudly as I am chasing the dog round the garden with my dirty knickers in his mouth and trying to stop Archie climbing over the garden fence.

The hair is an isshoo with me too have not had it cut for months so its is now just hanging in curtains has lost its curl disappears while preggo then comes back after I have popped the bub out weird huh. I have just found a hairdresser who looks good but am so scared to ask for anything other than just a trim as what happens if they chop it all off and I look like a fat balloon pregnant woman with a helmet hairdo.

Lupins71 · 05/06/2008 17:27

Deffo get the hair done ladies, i find mine so much easier since having it whacked off, quick go with the straightners and away we go!

MJB so soryy to here about the little moggy, I remember you getting him, hope harrison is ok soon enough

LGT flippin blinks 10 weeks, hope your scan is soon

My 2 little darlings are driving me nuts today, A keeps either climbing the stairs or eating the dog biscuits or climbing the stairs or eating hama beads, Willow is being a kevin and actually said "life is so hard for me" WTF your 5.5 what is hard - you dont even have to worry about homework anymore!

Also just spoke to solicitor dealing with my g'dads estate and the money wont be released until end of Oct, marvelous, I was kind of counting on that to get us out of this bad patch

DP has been for his 1st session with the shrink and I have to go to the next one with him to give them another view of how he is

Off to work tnite - ahhhh wat a relief!

Pinkjenny · 06/06/2008 10:15

Happy Birthday Mae!!

at Lups, 'life is so hard for me'. LOL!

Lupins71 · 06/06/2008 10:21

Happy B'day Mae have a lovely day

SKYTVADDICT · 06/06/2008 11:46

Happy Birthday Mae.

Hope you start to feel better soon LG&T. If you are 10 weeks you should.

I have been keeping up but not had much to post.

Looks like DD2 has the pox but short of sitting on her I couldn't stop her going to school today [Bad mummy emoticon]. She is 8 on Sunday and I think she thinks if she keeps going and fights it her party will still go ahead - I think she is in for a shock! We will have it in a couple of week but she really can't go swimming spotty!

I can't remember everything everyone has been posting to respond to - sorry!

I am 31 weeks pregnant tomorrow - where has the time gone?

JamInMyWellies · 06/06/2008 11:54

Wow sky 31wks it has flown by.

Happy Birthday Mae, have a fantabulous party.

AM how was the awards did you look all glam, are you suffering a mahoosive hangover?

Am stuck in all day today have ordered a lovely sideboard for my lounge and the delivery timeslot is 7-7.

Lupins71 · 06/06/2008 12:28

SKY wow 31 wks already thats amazing, another bubba in just 9 weeks time OMG!!

JAM hope the sideboard arrives soon - too nice to be stuck in all day

Pinkjenny · 06/06/2008 12:49

Sky 31 weeks! I can't believe that!

I am soooo bored in work. But I did find someone on that 'where did you go to school' thread that went to the same primary school and high school as me.

Am slightly nervous now.

largeginandtonic · 06/06/2008 12:56

Pink i dunno what you are nervous about it's not like you admitted to snogging DEAN GAFFNEY or anything

Sky wahoooooo another bubba! Cant believe you and TYG only have a few weeks left. I cannot wait to get to 31 weeks. I feel ok then, well apart from the threatened early labour and all

The wabbit escaped this morning, i have no idea how. It is quite unnerving. The neighbour found her sat on the hill outside the gate. She looked very pleased with herself.

Pinkjenny · 06/06/2008 12:59

Ha ha, you get every LG & T - I'm not embarrassed, that and Dev from Corrie are the only vaguely interesting things to ever happen to me. Which tells you a lot about my life.

Blardy wabbit.

largeginandtonic · 06/06/2008 13:01

I have eyes and ears everywhere you know i have 6 children... i am currently growing another set for this next baby, i fear i may be growing 2 more sets though...

Blardy wabbit indeed.

SKYTVADDICT · 06/06/2008 13:01

C managed to squeeze past the baby walker that was blocking the gap in the open patio door and somehow found himself outside yesterday - he also looked very pleased with himself! I was in the kitchen and heard a thud - there is quite a drop and I really don't know how he did it - there were no lumps and bumps and he just set of crawling towards the rabbit hutch!

He has had a runny nose, cough and runny eyes all week - he seems to have been ill for weeks now!

I've just been making myself lists of jobs to do next week as I am not working - took some holiday as CM on hols. The list looks far too long! I may have plenty of time to do them though as we may be confined to the house if DD2 has the pox! Still no call from school - are they blind!

Pinkjenny · 06/06/2008 13:01

You get everywhere.

MKG · 06/06/2008 13:07

Happy Birthday Mae.

Today she shares her day with an important national holiday. Today is National Donut Day. So let us raise our Krispy Kremes in celebration.

Pinkjenny · 06/06/2008 13:08

No? National Doughnut Day? I must taste these elusive Krispy Kremes...

Pinkjenny · 06/06/2008 13:10

I have a question. I am a reasonably opinionated, strong minded and confident individual (except when L has a temperature ) in RL.

Why does it bother me so much when people on here disagree with me, or are confrontational in their views? I never react like this in RL.

Its very odd.

And I know, I said I was going to stop posting on other threads, but work is so dull.

JamInMyWellies · 06/06/2008 13:24

PJ I hear you, drives me insane. I manage to hold fairly intelligent conversations in RL. Then I read something on here and so post and then I get jumped upon because I wasnt eloquent enough to get my point across. It does my head in there are loads of people on here whose sole purpose it to jump on other mumsnetters opinions and then theres the ones who intellectulise (sp) everything so you feel you cant jump in on the thread for fear of being pounced upon.

Pinkjenny · 06/06/2008 13:27

Jam its so weird . Even when people disagree with me but I stand by my comment, it really bothers me. People disagree with me lots in RL and I'm not overly concerned.

I'm sure we all disagree with each other sometimes, but we've never needed to be rude or mocking.

Apart from the time SOH said I was a 'freudian dream'. Which is possibly true.

largeginandtonic · 06/06/2008 13:33

National donut day? Oh fgs as a devoted follower it pains me that i cannot eat one to honor them today >

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAE!!!

Post and move on, it will bring you down otherwise.

OP posts:
Pinkjenny · 06/06/2008 13:36

LG & T - hopefully this sickness will start to abate soon. You poor thing, what with it being your national holiday and all.

It definitely does bring me down. Maybe I should spend more time working eh?

Mum and I have our spa day this Sunday. I'm not really looking forward to it, always feel a bit self conscious in these situations, I'm the same at the hairdressers. Not one of these women that can lie back, close their eyes, and drift off. I will try though.

JamInMyWellies · 06/06/2008 13:40

PJ onwards and upwards I will keep putting my own thoughts forward as should you . You never know someone might agree with us one day. Oh and the ones that trawl the threads and spend their time mocking others are cyber bullies and not worth worrying about.

National donut say you say mmmm I might have to get DP to bring me a few home theres always some knocking about the office.

Pinkjenny · 06/06/2008 13:45

Can I order KK on line? I don't think it will help me shift this last stone.

JamInMyWellies · 06/06/2008 13:48

I will take your place and spa day for you. OOh bliss to lie down and have someone massage you all over.

Pinkjenny · 06/06/2008 13:49

I don't think its that type of spa.

Am laughing out loud now. What a weirdo the PA next door must think I am.
