MKG · 30/05/2008 16:21

Oh, now I see them . . . The wink looks more like a constipation face than anything. They weren't there before though.

largeginandtonic · 30/05/2008 16:35

PMSL, ROFL, LOLLOLLOL

How do you know what a blowjob mouth looks like

So the slim gorgeous SOH thinks red and the equally beautiful LG&T agrees ? Hmmmm - was thinking green might be a bit more different but if its bad luck I probably shouldn't risk it. Feck me - its third time as it is

PJ - Til is the same with Grandma... I barely get a look in (except at 3am when only mummy will do apparently ). Not sure I could leave her too much though - I kept looking in the rear view mirror when I was out without her the last couple of days and feeling very when I saw the empty car seat. I have turned into the very thing I never thought I would be

I reckon we should have a May 07 lottery syndicate and we could share the millions and stay at home eating cakes (and open a wedding dress shop that stocks size 14-16 + samples )

MKG · 30/05/2008 18:12

OK now the old faces are back. This is very trippy.

JamInMyWellies · 31/05/2008 08:34

what are you all on about.

Archies brithday/houswarming today. Bring on the crazy joining of the most 2 ill matched families ever. No idea if I will survive if not its been nice knowing you all.

SOH put the needle down that is so gross.

In terms of babies liking grandparents my monster loves everyone apart from DP's mother goes bananas everytime he sees her. Hope its not my dislike passing onto him.

Oh and completelty agree with the noisy DP's seriously how much noises can one man make in the morning.

Right best crack on with cleaning the floors and blowing up balloons.

Madamejaffa · 31/05/2008 16:44

Have a lovely day Jam... Happy Birthday Archie.

AM.... oooo a weekend away lucky you, have fun!

SOH... PMSL at the faces, how's the nip? j's smart trike is the PINK one... lol

Seriously PJ, How cute is L with the cuddle in thing at nursery. I could leave J with the post lady, she'd smile lots and not give a shite!!

Pebble - have you told him yet?

lg&t - the fb photo's are so gorg!! Clever young man that one of yours, not only has he got a gorgeous girl in the bath at a year old with him but he was teaching her how to wash her hair. (not sure she'll learn quickly from her mum)

Jorja got her 1st dolly today with her B'day money, after wrestling it for the 500th time off of Maddie she proceeded to say Ahhhhh Ahhhh, whilst holding it to her ear like a phone.

MKG · 31/05/2008 18:06

continuing from a different thread

SOH--I'm ROFL with "converse with the hand girlfriend" I love it.

It's "Talk to the hand" (the girlfriend is optional) AWWW even when you're trying to be a rude American you sound so polite.

cinnamontam · 31/05/2008 19:22

Trust you lot to be talking blowjobs and handjobs when I get back online after so long. SOH i hold you completely to blame

Hello lovelies. Life has been a bit manic since going back to work and the last thing I've wanted to do has been get back onto the laptop at the end of the day. Missed you all and hope everyone is very well.

Put a couple of new pics on as well - can't believe our beans are 1 year old!

charleymouse · 01/06/2008 00:34

beep beep beep beep beep

BT have kindly disconnected our broadband earlier than they were meant to in our moving plans and have decreed in their wisdom there is no point in reconnecting us. Have just jumped on someone elses wireless network so do not really have chance to catch up.

DH bought a new filter and modem as broadband was funny then when I tried BT Broadband support the first thing I asked was "could you check my line as I have informed you I am moving soon and you may have switched me off" "Line is all okay madam, I have tested it it is working perfectly" said Raj who then spent 47 minutes troubleshooting and getting me to plug cables in and out and switch ff for 60 seconds then start again, before giving up and telling me to send my new modem back to shop and as it was not a BT one he could no longer help. In desperation I asked him to repeat the line check just in case ................ "Oh dear madam I can only apologise my equipment must be faulty, when I tested it before it worked fine I have just checked and you were dicsonnnected last week". Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Hope everyone is okay will touch base soon, hopefully should be connected by end next of week but whether we will have moved by then is anyones guess. Hey ho.

Happy Birthday Archie, belated wishes Beau and Matilda, Congratulations Pebble.

Bye for now love Charleymouse

Lupins71 · 01/06/2008 06:49

Hello Hello Hello I have missed you all, have sort of caught up alto I havent read back to find out what has happened to SOH's nip - please enlighten me

Well we went away for bank hols whic was lovely - except my friends tree decided to split in 3 places and threatened to smash in the front of thier house and the neighbors no tree surgeons about, council wouldnt come as its on private property and fire brigade not insured! so her dad ended up puiing it down in his land rover, went to a car boot the next day and got ds 100 pieces of clothing - all next gap h&m pumpkin patch for £10 well chuffed the lady didnt want to take them home - all 18/24 or 2-3

On our return my friend arrived with the children from hell, my friend is a wreck these little buggers have run her into the ground she just cant deal with them anymore - the little girl is almost feral , so i took them in hand, dont think my friend wanted to leave

And apart from that I have just been working and trying to cope with these stupid hot flushes - my hormone blood test did come back abnormal (raised levels) what a surprise, i could have told them that, so more bloods in a month - this is such an uncomfortable feeling just hot and clammy all the time,

We are off to the Tavistock Steam Fair today, will catch up some more later - well will try gotta work tnite

twelveyeargap · 02/06/2008 10:31

Congratulations Pebble! Have you told your DH?

Re: MMR. The "study" which linked the MMR to Autism has been completely written off as rubbish by other experts now. It wasn't conducted in the proper controlled "double blind" conditions and the study turned out to have been funded by a company linked to the company which makes the single jabs. Conflict of interest perchance? Can probably still find all the details if anyone is interested. DH reads a lot of pharma research for work and sent it all to me years ago. No need not to immunise unless you don't agree with immunisation at all. Some homeopaths don't immunise their children, for example and my friend who has terrible allergies decided not to immunise on the basis that she was concerned that the egg products in immunisations would cause a reaction in her sons.

I don't actually like that gingerbread SOH linked to. Am I abnormal? I like my own...

A's party was Saturday. Went really well. She really enjoyed it. Unfortunately DH forgot to cancel his driving lesson from 9-11 that morning and had to disappear. DD1 was at her theatre group so I ended up doing most of the work. I would have done a lot the night before instead if I'd known so I was more than slightly frazzled when my mum rang at 12.15 and started telling me about things she's picked up for the new baby. Er, can this wait until another time? I was quite snippy and she is not very happy with me.
However, my chocolate birthday cake, cream scones and mini pavlovas were very well received by the guests so I least I got something out of it. My dad brought his guitar over in the evening so after friends and babies had gone, the family stayed on and had a sing-song.

Sunday wasn't quite so exciting. FIL helped DH trace a leak into the cellar which I've been worried about for ages. They had to pull off some of the wall in the downstairs loo to expose a leaking waste pipe and it looks like it's going to be an expensive plumbing job. Still, at least DH and FIL have exposed the problem and can fix it up again after the plumber is done and we don't have to pay for someone to do that. This comes on top of my car starting to leak steering fluid and with the shocks needing replacing for the last 6 months the car is going to cost just over £1K to fix. Ouch. And then the council sent a letter to say that if I didn't move my old car from it's current spot (which isn't even outside anyone's house where it could be offending anyone) that they'll treat it as abandoned and remove it by this Wednesday. Great. Mechanic coming to put a new battery in it today or tomorrow and then service and MOT it so DH can start taking responsibility for the car he wouldn't let me sell this time last year, citing he would "learn to drive in it". He just started re-taking lessons two weeks ago... Looks like DH's winnings on "I'd Do Anything" are already spent then.

ShowOfHands · 02/06/2008 10:51

I'm learning to drive in July. Doing a week long intensive thing. Will post exact dates in due course so you can all avoid driving while I'm out endangering lives and frightening wildlife.

TYG, did 'doing anything' on that programme involve Lloyd Webber at all. I'm always worried about the lengths people will go to.

Love the sing-song! We do that a lot. LG&T, you have been warned. When you come and visit, instruments will appear around the still glowing bbq and you must sing. There will be plenty of wine no doubt... What's that? You can't make it?

My friend has recently had his car crushed by the council as they thought it was 'abandoned'. It was parked outside of his house in his designated parking space. No warning, nothing. Came home from work and it was gone. He is a lawyer, they're in big trouble...

twelveyeargap · 02/06/2008 11:12

This is the second time the council have tried to take the car. Last time I had 24 hours notice. Good thing I was home... The most recent letter gave me a week to move it, but said that if I wanted to query the letter, I had to do so in writing. So, presumably by the time they received my query the car would be gone and they'd have already sent me the bill for the £200 removal fee.

Granted, the car has not been moved for a few months, and granted, I did ding the bonnet so it looks like it's been in a bit of an accident and granted, it's filthy. BUT, it's taxed and insured and it's parked 100 metres from my house. The neighbours are finding it offensive so keep complaining about it. Once it's fixed (hopefully with a bonnet a different colour to the rest of the car so it looks really, really crap), I'm going to park it back in the same spot with a note on the dashboard saying, "This car is not abandoned. It is owned, taxed and insured by someone living within 100m of this spot. Don't bother calling the council or police about it again. When the owner no longer has use for the car, it will be disposed of thoughtfully and legally."

Lloyd Webber, yes. We weren't watching it. DH gets detailed survey information from the people who do watch and vote and bets accordingly using the betting exchanges. It's generally quite lucrative. He knows what works and what doesn't.

Lupins71 · 02/06/2008 11:15

TYG glad the party went wellm buggerv about the leak - hope it gets sorted soon

SOH I am looking at doing an intensive driving test/ lessons thingy, mum as said she will buy me a 7 seater jobby - only so i can be at her beckon call to take her shopping and go on outings and she can drink lol! still saves me forking out on a car, that is crazy about your friends car - hope they take council to the cleaner - thieving gits (can you tell i have a bug bear about council tax)

twelveyeargap · 02/06/2008 11:22

I think those intensive courses are a great idea, by the way. Get it over and done with.

JamInMyWellies · 02/06/2008 11:26

Hi everyone, survived the party. Archie charmed the pants off all there and has now got more toys than toysrus.

Had to go to the vets this morning poor Louis has cystitits and is now on antibiotics of course up until now DP has refused to get pet insurance and that just set us back £53 so has now invested a tenner a month incase we have to visit again.

Am off to add some party pics.

JamInMyWellies · 02/06/2008 11:27

oh lg&T poor you. Pack the kids up and head this way you can have a few mental days with us and then head further into the country and visit soh.

largeginandtonic · 02/06/2008 11:54

I would Jam if it wasnt for fecking school... the appeal failed btw

Boo sucks to everything.

Is A amidst plastic scary toys? We were very luck, B got lots of lovely wooden toys! It was us who got him the crazy Little Tykes mini playground thing, currently in my front room...

OP posts:
Madamejaffa · 02/06/2008 12:25

I don't remember you being that sick with Beau, were you? If not, got to be a girl or a few hiding in there.

You are allowed to be wobbly, we will catch you. Bollox about the appeal, where will he go now?

Glad this weeks partys went well.

TYG, poor you with the leak and the car, you seem to be having a run of annoyances at the moment. Get them all over before the new baby arrives.

It's our wedding anniversary today.... 7 years!

JamInMyWellies · 02/06/2008 12:32

thats crap about the appeal what happens now?

So birthday photos added, and yes we are inundated with plastic although thankfully we requested garden toys so most of it is now hiding in the shed.

Happy Wedding Anniversary Madamejaffa.
