oooggs · 28/04/2008 20:02

on thurs dts have their HIB booster (delayed due to sickness)

on my profile it says dts are 13 mths not until tomorrow and some of our babies aren't one yet

bad bedtime on wine already

Erin bed fine, Jack bed ok ish, James bed fine

Jack wakes at 7.30pm screaming, I am rushing around like a mad thing sorting stuff (cos can take aggggggeeeeeeessssssss to settle him) by then he wakes Erin so sorts her out in the travel cot in our room, then back to Jack (after a few mouthfuls of wine )

picks him up, he falls asleep instantly on my shoulder and is snoring in his cot now, he is so naughty.

It has been a stressful day (probably most of it my fault as I worry about too much stuff that is unimportant) - so here's to another glass

oooggs · 28/04/2008 20:02

Luce - I think B would be really gratful if S came, there is a serious lack of testosterone at the moment.

Oh you wil all have a laugh at this - my grandad has just bought a cross-trainer stepper machine thing - as he needs some exercise.. as he is having difficulty getting his leg over...... his motorbike

He is 80 in December

He will be here on Sunday!!!

Oooggs can I come too?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 28/04/2008 21:00

Dooby
Soya milk isn't recommended until 2 years of age, but I gave it to M from about 15mths as the prescription milk (infasoy) was awful stuff. You need to make sure you get the one with added Calcium, Alpro Soya/Sainsburys/Tesco etc doesn't matter, so long as it says added calcium on the front. We have the sweetened version, which isn't as good for them but the calcium makes it taste foul so it needs the added apple juice to make it tolerable!

My sister was on holiday near Exeter last week, I was very . We spent almost every summer holiday in Devon & Cornwall as kids, have lovely memories! My great-granny lived near Tavistock.

NorthernLurker · 28/04/2008 21:08

Ok well today has been fine all round. Work was better in some parts than I feared but it is already plain to me that some things have slipped and in addition to getting up to speed on stuff I will also need to be moving some things forward - the three weeks till my cover person leaves is not going to be the gentle ease back in i'd imagined. Actually it will only be two as I should be off next week for moving - our buyer signed his stuff today - so prayers, positive vibes and crossed whatsits that it all goes through please B was fine at nursery - she cried when she saw me and they said she had been a little bit weepy - but she looked very happy and busy before she saw me so that's good, She had two naps and slept like a horse. I think the bedtime routine at home will take a bit of adjusting to - she didn't want to be left basically but I'll hang in there and NOT feel like a bad mummy. I am a perfect;y good mother who has made a perfect;y good decision for my baby who is perfectly old enough to be left.

My feet are very painful though - I wore posh shoes - HUUUUUUUGGGGGEEEEE mistake when you've got a fair bit of toing and froing to do - I could barely walk by the time I got home! It will be trainers tomorrow and change at work.

Luce - I want cake!!

SOL - B had her jab last week - she was fine - it's very quick.

Elkie - poor D with his teeth

Oooggs - hope your evening improves!

Errrrrm what else?

Oh yes - it has touched me more than I can say that you have all asked after my day and put up with my whimpering! I really, really appreciate it! You are all utterly fabulous and I only hope I can offer you the support you've given me!
