Have had a lovely week with friends here they are going home tomorrow has been so nice, made me realise how little time me and dp spend together and how seperate our lives our, have been doing some serious thinking the last few weeks and am not sure of our options, I suppose we either have to make an effort (yet again) to try and rescue things or make a break, at the mo it feels like we are just friends, will keep you all posted, how much time do you spend with your dp, dh's in the evenings or at weekends? and is the ol' spark still there or is it just routine now?

Lups - sorry to hear you are going through this. It is very hard keeping a "together" relationship when the world is going made all around you. DP and I have very little "together" time at the moment and sometimes sit back and talk about it - we have only been together 4 years though and my previous marriage did break down for similar reasons.

Sorry you are still haveing tough times with D. Dh and i have our rough patches from time to time. We have now started going out every other Wednesday jsut on our own and try not to be on the pc all night. Although we are in the same room from abut 8pm til bed we can either be spending time together (watching tv) or one will be on the laptop. So not really together time as such but we can at least still talk to each other.

about you and DH Lups..had hoped the move would help out a bit..DH and I hardly spend any time together in the week as by the time I have got in, got the kids to bed (he usually gets home after they have gone), tea is made and eaten I am ready for bed, where he will stay up and watch darts/football/any other sport you care to name-once memorably, Curling!But at weekends we make sure we do things as a family and we do try to go out on our own or with freinds at least every fortnight or so..it is a bit routiney now at times I have to admit..but we have been together 10 years so what would expect..we had a humdinger of a row last night as well! (Lots of 'discussions' in our house rest assured!)

We leave for hols on Saturday so won't be around next week.

Lup's me and dh have been together 9 years - only been out once since Georgie was born - having no family nearby, makes it difficult! However we do sit down together and watch tv most evenings or one does whilst one is on the pc or reading but that is only cos we watch mostly the same things. We spend most of our weekends together. I do wish we had more eveings out, i miss geting dressed up for a night out, but pennies a bit tight at mo. I think that a regular night out is on the cards once i am working - that is what i have told dh. Hope things work out for you both.

I'm sure I have missed loads and have no chance to catch up! But Happy Birthday to all those who are 1 now, where on earth did the time go? And LG&T I did catch the thread on P, so very sorry, you're all in my thoughts.

Things have been quite mad here! I've completely stopped smoking and haven't had one in 4 weeks. Feel so much better for stopping. Therapy group is coming to an end soon, to be perfectly honest I've found them better for making more friends than anything. Feeling so much better, stopped taking my meds a few days after starting as they spaced me out lol! I'm moving out some time in the next 4 months which I'm so looking forward too. Going to York with some family and friends for my 21st.

Charlotte is coming on so much! She took her first steps on Tuesday and has been waddeling every now and then since! I still can't believe she did it, she's only 10 months! Still no teeth though pmsl Am currently planning her first Birthday party. She was born the 23rd but we'll be having a party on the 24th as it's a Saturday. Have one of my best friends coming up from Manchester for that weekend, I can't wait. Have already bought her £100 worth of toys, just from the money I put aside which would have been spent on smoking! Lots more to get! Spoilt, my child? NO!

Anyway that's us, House is on in 10 mins so I'm going to fight for sofa space! Hope all are well x

Ella has had a lovely day today, lots of lovely pressies and some money as well (can put it in her bank account and use it when there is something she wants). We bought her 3 little things as we didnt want to get too much knowing that family had bought her bits as well. Tooth looks lovely but is still giving her a temperature, poor little mite. Still cant believe where the last year has gone. Had family and friends coming by all afternoon and i think there are still a few cards left to come.

Thanks all, great to know you lot are all here, dp hasnt even spoken to me today and has spent no time with the kids, I think when the next lot of friends has been and gone next week if things dont improve then i will take Arlen and move into his room - its certainly big enough for us both to be in there

C is at CMs and DD2 gone to her friends. DD1 is currently reluctantly hoovering. C was only here for a couple of hours this morning and picked up and ate so much! He did give me a couple of bits back though .
