Looks like our insurance excess will go up from £50 to £500 on the claim because I didn't leave the keys IN the door at night, I left them in sight BY the door. Better than them not paying out at all and the excess will hopefully come out of what we'll be offered as the cash part of the settlement for the old things which were stolen (like 4 yr old camcorder) and the things like passports. Phew.
