hello, can´t believe how quiet it is.. have to say for my part I just don´t have much to talk about.. Noah has two more teeth so that´s 6 in total now. He´s started getting up on all 4s but still not crawling, would still be on his feet all day if we´d let him. And that´s about it - went for a run yesterday but missed yoga this morning so hopefully go for a run tomorrow instead.

Having 6 friends for lunch tomorrow and I´m making thai curry, hot and sour prawn soup and spring rolls.. which I´ll hopefully prepare tonight to save time.

Been a beautiful day here and we had a big family bbq and my freckles are out in force, was positively springlike

Oooggs and SPB here´s hoping for a great night for you tonight..

oooggs · 23/02/2008 17:30

IDOC - fantastic have a great night

Maveta - has been wet here today your weather

katy - heres hoping T has a good night- well infact that all the babes do

hi everyone else - currently watching a programme on home & health about a family with lots of kids (at least 12 I missed the begining) how in the hell does she cope?????? Not sure if it is making me feel more inadequate

PillockOfTheCommunity · 23/02/2008 17:33

hello all!

Dippy still can't get on, Ange is being daft - text her and get her back here, Pesha is with me and I am with Pesha

OP posts:
oooggs · 23/02/2008 17:35

yes have been wondering where Ange was - have a good night girls, going out??????

elkiedee · 23/02/2008 17:42

Aahhh that's why it's so quiet, Ellie and Pesha are together instead of entertaining the rest of us.

We've not upset Ange have we? Or is she just feeling guilty about spending time on MN?

I've been learning to knit from a very kind woman who runs a library knitting circle - most of her pupils are about 8 although one of the library staff was going to consult her as well.

StealthPolarBear · 23/02/2008 17:50

sorry caz it was a five minute offer only, and he has been lovely this afternoon still...i will remember for future, what's your address and nearest rail station?
what's up with ange?

oooggs · 23/02/2008 17:52

wow this family have 7 girls & 7 boys and have just said they are pregnant again

thats good Katy

elkiedee · 23/02/2008 18:17

oooggs, is that a family you know or something on TV? or mumsnet? I saw a programme with a woman expecting no 13 or 14 a while ago.

oooggs · 23/02/2008 18:19

no it was on H&H and finished at 6pm

PillockOfTheCommunity · 23/02/2008 19:28

NorthernLurker · 23/02/2008 19:55

evening all

need to go and do baths but just popping in to say 'hello'

I can't text ange as I don't have anyones numbers - so could someone who can text her on my behalf and say 'hellllllooooooo!' - just like that please Also - whilst I'm ordering everyone about can someone text Dippy in similar fashion from me?

Maveta - I want to come to yours for lunch - sounds yummy!!! I have people coming here tomorrow and am doing Roast Lamb etc

IDOC - great to 'see' you - do you have a ceramic cafe anywhere near you? I've done that twice for girls parties - incuding dd2's 6th last year and it's always been great. Bit expensive - but probably no more than you spend at home if you sit down and add everything up.

Pesha and POTC - have fun together

Eddas - I bought B a new dress in Gap yesterday and I got 12-18mths - it seems to be a really good fit - she seems really tall to me now though she doesn't weigh a lot. Of course I have no idea what she weighs as I never take her near the HV - bad negelectful mother that I am.

SPB - Did you not get a 12 mth guarantee with your purchase of the T model? You can take them back you know - if there's a fault with the sound emitting equipment - and your statutary rights are not affected

Hi Caz, Oooggs, Elkie and everyone else

oooggs · 23/02/2008 19:59

NL are you really 30??????

NorthernLurker · 23/02/2008 20:06

yes - well 31 next month - what can I say - I started young

oooggs · 23/02/2008 20:09

lol - bless you - oh to be 30

NorthernLurker · 23/02/2008 20:16

I was 29 up until a year ago you know

elkiedee · 23/02/2008 21:06

Have just discovered the mumsnet blogs feature and been reading blogs there. Have also experimented with posting my own but it looks a bit of a mess.

Ok, I'm a bit bored now...

elkiedee · 23/02/2008 21:07

And NL, I'm always amazed to realise you're so young, and so much wiser than me.

oooggs · 23/02/2008 21:07

needs a bit of work elkie

blunt and straight to the point after 2 glasses of wine

elkiedee · 23/02/2008 21:13

I'm aware of that! Might just remove it all again.

StealthPolarBear · 23/02/2008 21:40

ooh off to peek at elkie's blog
NL, no, we didn't get the guarantee in fact I think I heard the sales guy laughing as we left.
Sound seems to have fixed itself though, the high pitched whine / groany sound has stopped and been replaced by a sort of cooing / babbling - we can live with that. I'm still not convinced about the waste ejection system though, it seems to have been set to high and we can't find the control.

StealthPolarBear · 23/02/2008 21:41

yeah I'm with oooggs elkie, it could do with a little something maybe

oooggs · 23/02/2008 21:43

oh katy bless him - new photos needed on you profile I know mine need updating too I just don't know how to download from the new camera

StealthPolarBear · 23/02/2008 21:58

have you tried hitting it with a big hammer
Right, off to sort out some washing, give the kitchen a quick clean and bed! Let us know when you have new photos on the profile oooggs!

NorthernLurker · 23/02/2008 22:20

Elkie - definately not wiser - just weathered by experience

SPB - I hear what you're saying. My model seems to have an overly sensitive motor - just takes a second or two and it's all over the place!

StealthPolarBear · 23/02/2008 22:34

Definitely don't try the hammer thing for that - they are fairly sturdy but that would not be a good idea and would probably cause a problem in the sound equipment again!
Still not in bed, as you can see...going now, after I read a thread about a mum who changes her LO's nappy twice a day, whatever is in it
