Ah Bethoo, how lovely

Diva, I am very weak willed when it comes to having babies. Even though iI dislike pg and find babies an inconvenience. I too find it scary when thinking about doing something other than breeding.
Tbh if dp came and said " let's have another" yes I would.
But he won't so I have to let it all go now
I think I need to find a new way to define myself iyswim

LissyDuffy · 01/04/2008 23:47

My Marianne is crawling, and cruising round the furniture, and even taking her hands off and just leaning.

She's just starting asking for things in a type of sign language, by pointing at my phone and miming talking on a phone, or pointing at a teddy and hugging herself

Still no words though, although I'm sure she said "nana" at a banana the other day!

spongecake · 02/04/2008 21:37

piffle, how is finn, is he better?
bethoo, agree re jabs, try this website www.jabs.co.uk if you call them they will help with nearest clinic. your dp! what a you know what... you need to be calm for the prgny and haden! he (as you must know) has no chance. get your ducks in a row and see citizens advice before you get too big and tired ? just to know what to do...

diva, sounds like a bad time for you, but you have been married nearly as long as me think could you take each day at a time, enjoy it for what it is? try not to think too much? i try to do that now- the big things i can't do much about anyway has your dh kept off the pc though, and go out with you and the kids? its not all your issues is it?

well, am bossy self so will pipe down.

its sleep deprivation, ds is teething and poor baby is having a crap time, i needn't bother to get into bed at night.
waves to anyone i have missed

cazboldy · 02/04/2008 21:40

hello all

just wanted to pop in and say i hope all of your lo's have had lovely birthdays!

Molly will be 1 on sunday, and i can't believe how fast this year has gone!

Anyway love to all of you and yours xxx

kittywise · 02/04/2008 22:25

Hello
Well Ron isn't even one and he's already sliding speedily down the stairs and climbing up on chairs and beds etc.

Where IS everyone?

bethoo · 02/04/2008 23:17

i am here though really should go to bed as Hayden will be up like clockwork at 6!
called dickhead yesterday and apparantly he is not going to get custody as he ''doesnt want to put me through it''!
yes i think he has had a rethink for these reasons:
a. they will realise that he has not put a penny towards little man and he will have to start financially supporting Hayden.

  1. dawned on him that he would lose his single bloke life and actually have to be responsible for a baby, therefore losing out on coke snorting and daily weed smoking with his mates!

yes what a great father he is, to be honest what a shit role model and do i really think he should be in Haydens life at all? am i just being harsh here? i really think he does not deserve to have children. when he has his daughter from his marriage to stay he treats her like an inconvenience and when he talks to her and about her you get the feeling he resents havign her there as it cramps his lifestyle. even his friends say he does fuck all for his kids and me! they are more loyal to me than him. that says alot about him doesnt it?

rant over until next time!! sorry ladies.
i cant believe i actually was crazy for him!!! i have seen the light!!!

cazboldy · 03/04/2008 08:15

they definitely seem to do things faster with people to copy don't they kitty! Am not brave enough to let Molly do the stairs down, but she can go up, and onto chairs

Callieco · 03/04/2008 10:13

Hello, am still here but lots on. Have guests coming on Sun and much tidying etc. Am absolutely knackered atm, and for once it's not lack of sleep - I've had between 7-8 straight hours for the past three nights |(sorry to those being woken regularly!) but wake up feeling like death. I have been to work, either starting really early (6.30) or finishing really late (10pm) for two of the three days, so I know that messes me up a bit. A friend of mine whose son is just a month older than Jordi had another baby two weeks ago and has apparently already been to the gym!!!!! How???? She is very fit though.

shanks313 · 03/04/2008 14:44

Hi girls)

Probably my last visit here before baby M is born. She is due any time now.
Been getting pressure down there for about 4 days now and today Im nesting.Cant seem to sit still...keep thinking of things to tidy.

Its all so scary but exciting too

Hope you are all okay and shall announce when it happens

kittywise · 03/04/2008 17:10

Ooh good luck shanks , let us know how you get on.
I wish you a quick and problem- free labour

Divastrop · 03/04/2008 20:16

shanks-good luck, cant wait for your birth announcement

bethoo-im glad that you have finally seen the light

sponge-nothing has changed with dh.oh,apart from the last few nights he has been smiling and laughing alot while typing/reading the chat on the game, causing me to experience insane paranoia.he has looked after the 2 lo's the past 2 afternoons as ive had appointments.he asked last night if i had anything on on friday and when i said no he said 'oh good i get a day off then'.he said he was joking but still, many a true word spoken in jest and all that.

i dont want things to be shit,i want to believe its all my negative perception of stuff thats causing it,that way i have control of the situation.

Piffle · 03/04/2008 21:07

ello everyone! Sorry been otherwise engaged playing with ikea kitchen planner for days now.
Finn better despite nearly breaking his nose on Monday cannoning head first into edge of box skirting board. Massive bruise two black eyes and a cut and bump. This walking business is harrowing. Like ronnie Finn is up on couch he can get downstairs ok ish...
his illness has gone to be replaced by dribble which could irrigate barren fields. There are molars heading on up I reckon as lumps on his gum are massive.

Dd is sick again with hideous cough sore throat and streaming nose... When will it end for her/ us?

Wow shanks good luck!!!!!!!
bethoo glad you're sorted headwise poppet
Sorry to have been so crap must dash as dd needs me

spongecake · 04/04/2008 22:03

diva, hope things look better for you, think you do a great job with 5 children etc etc. have hands full with one tbh. as for day off for your dh- really? you could give him a list of stuff to do on his "day off"

good luck shanks, hope it goes well

fingers crossed ds will get some sleep tonight. that's 5 nights and days with no sleep to speak of for him and his teeth and me. have just bought some nelsons granules from the chemist as apparently they are "miracle" powdres for teething hope so.
piffle, grt news re finn feeling better, not so great re his bumps, poor thing.

have got loads of books in the shed waiting to be sneaked back into the house from dh tidying. didn't realise he had done it til too late

evenhope · 05/04/2008 12:58

sponge I sympathise on the lack of sleep front. We've had 2 nights on the trot of DD just rolling and rolling round the bed for hours, then coming over and crashing her very hard head into my lip (ouch). When she finally goes off I start to cough and cough and cough until she starts rolling again. We have had no sleep for 2 nights

As of yesterday DD has chicken pox!!

kittywise · 05/04/2008 22:12

Sympathies to the sleep deprived, may I join you?

Evenhope at least she's got it over and done with though!
Boy do I hate that head butting, it bloody hurst doesn't it?

Dd3 is very poorly; really nasty viral rash, 39 degree temp etc etc. Her face is grey and her body bright red. At least the vomiting has stopped.
Well, Easter hols here now, oh joy

Diva are you feeling any better?

Divastrop · 06/04/2008 11:55

hi all

things are better with dh.i will get there in the end

Elsie is ill too.she's got a temperature and was up half the night despite calpol/ibuprofen combo.i think its her throat as she looks like shes in pain when drinking even.dd2 also woke last night and was wandering around the bedroom, emptying the drawers etc from1.30-3.30am

((((hugs)))) to all the ill lo's-hope you get better soon.

on the plus side, the older ones go back to school tomorrow THANK F**K

kittywise · 06/04/2008 15:49

Diva, we've only just started out hols!!!!!

Piffle · 06/04/2008 21:40

I'm skint so no doubt housebound for a few days arrrghhh
Right off to do the ironing yawn...

bethoo · 06/04/2008 21:52

Spongecake - Hayden loves those teething granules with his little mouth wide open and then he crawls around sucking the paper!!

had a week off as having problems with child minders, i always thought they had to work around you but sadly mistaken! anyway it has been nice having time with Hayden especially as he is at that age where he is more interactive. cheeky grin as he switches the ntl of then swotches the DVD player on! little tinker!

fitfox · 07/04/2008 13:02

LOL - Piffle is your house still Snotsville?

Any more births then???? Shanks?

Two on my local thread have given birth in the last three weeks

Have been in France ('Twas luvverly) and the mini-beasts are back at school today

Bethoo there is a new single jabs clinic called babyjabs too, in Harley Street (too lazy to find links etc)

Hope everyone is well - have I missed any juicy gossip?

Diva glad you can see a light at the end of the tunnel with DH

Divastrop · 07/04/2008 14:30

fox-glad you had a good holiday()

bethoo-the babies are turning into cheeky toddlers!ive had to tape my sky card in again as Elsie has discovered she can pull it out and post it in the video player.

she has also decided that she's daddy's girl when she is ill,ad hurls herslf towards him whenever she sees him.this seems to be having a positive effect on dh too.maybe he just needed to be needed?

ReverseThePolarity · 07/04/2008 14:44

Hello all,

Been having a bit of a shitty time lately but by the looks of it so have lots of us.

Been in hospital with Bertie - long story and my hands are too bloody freezing to type - but he is home now and seems to be on the mend fingers crossed.

Will try to get on here more often again.

Love to all and hope to hear from Shanks soon with birth announcement!!

TheBlonde · 07/04/2008 14:51

Hugs Mossy - hope Bertie is on the mend

fitfox · 07/04/2008 16:31

Hi Polar - I was just thinking about you last night and wondering why you hadn't been on MN recently.

When you get a moment, let us know what happened to Bertie

In the meantime [cyber hugs] to you both

kittywise · 08/04/2008 11:50

Mossy, sorry to hear there have been probs. What happened? Hope things are getting better now ((hugs)).

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!RONNIE IS ONE TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He has teething acid poos. his poor bot is raw and bleeding. I hate those nappies Still since he STILL hasn't got ANY TEETH!! Maybe this will herald their arrival.

Foxy, so glad that France was good. How are things with DH? I will ring this week, when would be a good time?

Piffle are things any better in your house?

dd3 has a terriblle virus. She's had a temp for over a week now, is lethargic and barely drink, let alone eats .

We are housebound because of the poorly babies.

Hello to everyone else
