Piffle = you certainly are gong through the wars at the moment!!
i am fine thanks, was knackered this afternoon as not stopped, lo slept with me then when we woke at half seven i put him in his own cot and not a peep from him.
fancy eating someting now!!! off to raid the freezer. the cramps are very few and far between and have been a bit queesy today but i find that the gym helps alleviate the sicky feeling or it could just be because i have not been having breakfast!!!
i am currently watching superskinny vs fatty or something like that and new series of CSI Vegas is on at 9 so goodnight all and speak soon. xx

ReverseThePolarity · 12/02/2008 21:52

Callie I'm really sorry about your cat. It's horrible when a much loved long lived pet dies; it's not hyperbole to say they are family members.

Piffle · 12/02/2008 22:06

bethoo... You'd better get used to being tired honey

muppetisacat · 13/02/2008 10:04

where's rosy?

bethoo · 13/02/2008 10:51

Piffle - i know though today i feel ok and should be heading to the gym in about half an hour, sometimes i cant be bothered but my boss insists i go!!! wihtout him i think i would turn ot jelly!!! if i slap my boobies they are a little tender, does that count???
mornign everyone, did anyone catch CSI Vegas last night? it was a bouble bill, the second part was Without A Trace!!!

Rosylily · 13/02/2008 11:05

Aaw. Have popped on my sisters computer to leave a message. I'm offline and it could be for a while Dh has had a row with silly orange, it's their mistake and dh wants to get out of the contract with them.

I'm really missing my crutch mumsnet.
I'm bored and lonely but the house is tidy

Callie sorry about your cat

Kitty poor Ronnie, I hope he is better soon

Diva I haven't got time to read your thread but ds1 is having severe WOW withdrawal symptoms! He is spending hours playing his other games though! We got his mock results....needs a bit of work!
Think you could ask your dh for a bit more input to the family.

Love to everyone, really miss you all and I'll be back eventually. [waves]

Divastrop · 13/02/2008 16:12

rosy-have they cut off your internet altogether?our last ISP did that when dh made abusive phonecalls to them after months of them not providing the service they were suppose to be.he got out of our contract with tiscali by contravening their fair usage policy(he downloaded shitloads of huge files from various places),cos they were shite too.

im so tired i cant think straight.have been at the hospital with ds2 this morning for his ears, one of the grommets was blocked but should be ok now,and his hearing is ok as well

kittywise · 13/02/2008 17:59

Diva, I have been for hospital appointments from Sunday to today .
DD2 was getting her hearing checked today as I've noticed real hearing loss. They tested her and said it was gunk in both middle ears but that it should clear and they will keep testing a regular intervals to check that it has.

Ronnie has a smart new, blue cast. It is lighter and he can move around better, but he is the grumpy baby from hell.
We go back in a fortnight for an x ray. It would be great if they could take it off then.

I went for a lovely long walk up on the downs this morning, just me, my ipod and some sheep!!

Piffle, hope you have recovered from the il's visit. Your mil sounds a right one !!
How are all your pains?

Rosy, get back on line soon, we miss you!

muppetisacat · 13/02/2008 19:08

Poor Ron!! I hope they hurry up and get that cast off - can't imagine what it must be like for you - but very of your lovely walk on the downs kitty!

Just had long conversation with builder about where to put cupboards in our loft bedroom they are building. Came downstairs and caught sight of my reflection in the oven... thought... what's that? - big piece of broccoli hanging in my hair

bethoo · 13/02/2008 19:34

Muppet - pmsl at broccoli!!!

kittywise · 13/02/2008 19:49

rofl @ green veg embarrasment!!

muppetisacat · 13/02/2008 20:22

Why do people not tell you when things like that happen??

Once when i was out walking i had filthy oily gloves from shutting the boot of my car (I did not know this until i got back in the car and looked in the rear view mirror at myself).

I had been wiping my watery eyes and runny nose throughout my walk as it was a bitterly cold day.

I had oil all over my face.

I looked like i was out on army manouevres (spell?)

I had been speaking to several people i met whilst walking the dog.

I had been wondering why people had been looking at me strangely.

Callieco · 13/02/2008 20:23

Muppet -

Thanks all for kind messages. I tell you, this site is better than counselling anyday.

I'm really having a shit week because I took the week off, and instead of being out enjoying the beautiful weather, I came down with a stomach bug on Monday (on top of a cold and all the trauma from Saturday), so have only properly got out of the house today, apart from to go to the doctor's yesterday. I was dead worried, because as well as having pains in my stomach, as you would expect with a bug, I developed pain down the right-hand side of my abdomen. Initially I was worried about appendicitis, but was more worried it was the cysts coming back. I think I've told you before I had three removed from my ovaries the year before I got pg, a complication of endometriosis. So I spent a few days with a pressure feeling in the region of my right ovary wondering if I was heading back to the operating theatre. It seems to have gone down now, but the very nice doctor was pretty certain it couldn't be caused by the stomach bug as it was too localised, so I shall have to keep an eye, or rather a probing finger, on it.

Polarity - when is your DP having his op? I must say I would be sh*tting it if it was my eyes.

Muppet again, I remember when your cat died.

Evenhope - are you down under atm?

Piffle - ooh, jealous of your Oz trip. How great you and Eids will get to meet. Now that is some Mumsnet get-together!

Bethoo, guess you are feeling more definite about the pregnancy now then as you're feeling sick.

I must say, the one thing about being ill was, I have actually got to stay in bed at night and in the morning while DP does baby, even if I do still get woken up by him crying. What with the run of coughs etc, he is currently waking up about twice a night on average, although it was three times last night I think, so quite knackering again. I got spoilt by him sleeping through for a bit. Think I'm back on duty tomorrow morning though.

Kitty, the walk on the downs sounds lovely. I did make it to the park with my mum today, and it was amazingly bright. Lovely to see the sun out and all the snowdrops and crocuses (croci?) bouncing around everywhere.

Divastrop · 13/02/2008 20:28

[email protected] once sent poor ds2 to nursery with a pair of my knickers attached to the velcro of his coat-i hadnt noticed in the morning rush.

i found $50 today!in the street,i thought it was toy money but decided to have a closer look and it was a real $50 bill.so i exchanged it in the post office

bethoo · 13/02/2008 20:47

i am laughin out loud at those stories Muppet and Diva!!!
what is wrong with me??? aaarrrggghhh, jsut want to eat even though not hungry! toss up between Haydens one packet of Quavers in a sandwich or a fried egg sarnie!!!!

spongecake · 13/02/2008 22:26

hi everyone -just dropping in for quick catch up (waves) been too busy here, not sure where time going. ds has ear infection and cold, cough.. and i really want to write about status of sleep/bf but whenever i mention it, it gets worse!!

kittywise · 14/02/2008 11:51

ladies, this thread is making me very

Divastrop · 14/02/2008 11:57

kitty-will have a look now,it will distract me from getting pissed off with fecking do-gooders talking about 'rehab' for wife-beaters

Divastrop · 14/02/2008 18:04

no,i was wrong, the DV one was better

Piffle · 14/02/2008 19:44

kitty I read the OP on that and knew if would get ugly!!! I'm like the OP though perhaps a wee bit less worried about biscuits though!!!! As for DV.. Whatever individuals choose is fine. But for its end game!!!
anyway baby stuff. Finn slept 7-7 last night. We also noted he does not chew much but he swallows big things!!!! Makes for dead interesting nappy changes. No questions about what he ate yesterday.
As for me I'm discharged from physio, got nerve pain left and am off for Bowen technique in nine days. Pelvis is stable though so feeling much better. Am waiting for first period since miscarriage too... Feel like I've had pmt for three weeks! Hope youre all busy being romanced tonight.

kittywise · 14/02/2008 20:44

Excellent news re Bowen piffle. I had my second today. My hips are all askew, but all my pain has stopped!!

I'm going to take ds1 for his asthma and Ron for his neck.

I was thinking that I would like to train as a Bowen practitioner once Ronnie is a bit older. I think it's such a valuable skill to have and I'd love to get my teeth in to some learning again.

muppetisacat · 14/02/2008 20:56

I had my first af 6 weeks ago and have just got my second... usually regular as clockwork so bit weird that it's taken 6 weeks...

... stupid question coming up...

... is it just cos i'm still bfding?

Never bfed for so long so don't know

bethoo · 14/02/2008 21:09

Muppet - if this is your second af then it will take a few more cycles to regulate to normal. i became regular after about 4 cycles as my AF came after about 8 months of having Hayden or maybe 6 so long ago!!! and it is because of bf aswell as your body is getting ready to become fertile again.

spongecake · 14/02/2008 21:26

am fed up as dh is working and as its valentines he will be really late. you'd think they would all eat up quick and early to get to bed wouldn't you they must be married types i guess

am stressing already about our next hols, 2 wks with mil. its two months away. i feel guilty i am dreading it iyswim.

everything is too much for me at the mo. feel v overwhelmed. and ds is ill with virus. not sure what to stress about first

Piffle · 14/02/2008 22:25

kitty was thinking of similar career too. Been so impressed with my physio, she was so sincere and had tears in her eyes when she realised she had sorted out my major problem. Bless her!!! Dying to experience Bowen now.
Muppet mine came back at six mths been dead regular since then until the miscarriage/shock pregnancy thing just over a month ago . Sponge mine is not romantic either, brought dinner home. Two pizzas and six beers. No card etc I got him slushy card and dead nice cufflinks. Oh well
