Muppet -
Thanks all for kind messages. I tell you, this site is better than counselling anyday.
I'm really having a shit week because I took the week off, and instead of being out enjoying the beautiful weather, I came down with a stomach bug on Monday (on top of a cold and all the trauma from Saturday), so have only properly got out of the house today, apart from to go to the doctor's yesterday. I was dead worried, because as well as having pains in my stomach, as you would expect with a bug, I developed pain down the right-hand side of my abdomen. Initially I was worried about appendicitis, but was more worried it was the cysts coming back. I think I've told you before I had three removed from my ovaries the year before I got pg, a complication of endometriosis. So I spent a few days with a pressure feeling in the region of my right ovary wondering if I was heading back to the operating theatre. It seems to have gone down now, but the very nice doctor was pretty certain it couldn't be caused by the stomach bug as it was too localised, so I shall have to keep an eye, or rather a probing finger, on it.
Polarity - when is your DP having his op? I must say I would be sh*tting it if it was my eyes.
Muppet again, I remember when your cat died.
Evenhope - are you down under atm?
Piffle - ooh, jealous of your Oz trip. How great you and Eids will get to meet. Now that is some Mumsnet get-together!
Bethoo, guess you are feeling more definite about the pregnancy now then as you're feeling sick.
I must say, the one thing about being ill was, I have actually got to stay in bed at night and in the morning while DP does baby, even if I do still get woken up by him crying. What with the run of coughs etc, he is currently waking up about twice a night on average, although it was three times last night I think, so quite knackering again. I got spoilt by him sleeping through for a bit. Think I'm back on duty tomorrow morning though.
Kitty, the walk on the downs sounds lovely. I did make it to the park with my mum today, and it was amazingly bright. Lovely to see the sun out and all the snowdrops and crocuses (croci?) bouncing around everywhere.
