Heehee thought I'd start the new thread. there seemed to be a recurring theme from everyone's recent posts - hence the title.

Hope everyone's well and that you found us without too much trouble

He's beautiful PL

RUMPEL · 27/03/2008 11:48

Hi All,

Not been on for ages as have had a realy bad cold for the past 2 weeks - been feeling hellish. Amber is cross cutting what feels like dozens of molars too=harldy any sleep Also mad busy with Uniwork. Still only put on 8lbs though am 6months now All bump and boobs - totally different form when pg with Amber.

PL - Ferdie is gorgeous!

SAMSMAM - she is wee cutie too - a really nice photo of Samantha lying down How are you re post-natal depression - you feeling ok?

EYEORE - Amber babbles too. She has said clear words occassionally but mostly just babbling. She says ta, Daddy, Mum (very occassionally) car, cat and that's about it.
She read out loud to herself (nonsensical of course) - very funny.

BABYDUCKY - I'd still go see the dermatologist as they will be able to advise you form an orthodox view - best to gather as much info as you can and decide what is best for you and Kai long term. How is your wedding prep coming along?

Had my last day at Uni yesterday - hurrah! I just need to find the brain/time/motivation/energy now to complete my last 2 essays .

Hope you are all well.

Mellin · 27/03/2008 13:45

Hi everyone,

Congrats and well done to samsmam and PrincessL!! !!

I've just been looking your profiles (and Gingeme's) to see the gorgeous pics of the new babes. Awwwwwww the little ones are so gorgeous! You are all knackered and emotional I'm sure, but you sure have gorgeous babies

I haven't been on Mumsnet for ages, what with being back at work and running around after DD. DD seems to have had one illness after another since christmas - colds, chest infection, conjunctivitis.... I guess you just can't get away from germs in a nursery environment.

Eyeore - DD only has about 5 words in her vocabulary, which she uses with no apparent association for what they actually mean. Dada, nanna, up, down and wow. Lots of babbling though. I haven't been too concerned about lack of talking yet. BUT that's probably because she has been a very late developer and has only just in the last month started walking unassisted. So I have spent most of my worrying time on her walking development, not speech! I thing that just goes to show if it's not one to worry about, it's another.

EeyoreIsFab · 28/03/2008 13:29

Samsmam & Princess - love the pics!

Princess - I've always been eeyore, just a bit sporadic in when I turn up!

Thanks for the reassurance about 'talking', 'mumum' come back again this week , so that makes me feel better!

taffy101 · 28/03/2008 21:31

Hi, back from a snowy week in wales!! Me, owen and dd had stomach bugs for most of it [bleurrggh emoticon] - all better now though.

Samsmam - gorgeous montage. Your girls are so sweet.

Princess i peeked at your profile. Your little boy is gorgeous and he so looks like a Ferdie!!

Eeyore - i remember stressing about dd not saying mum. She finally said it when she was probably 2, and a week later I wanted to change my name!! Owen only says cat and dada.

Anyone else disappearing in a heap of chocolate? Even dd admits it will take her till next easter to it all so i said i would help her!

Rumpel - good luck with essays. Hope you're feeling well too.

hi all,

aw sophie & ferdie are so gorgeous!
Thats what i was thinking taffy, Ferdie really really suits him!

Yeah Kai got 6 eggs & me & dp got 2 each!
We've given Kai a few little bits but dp has had most of them!

It was my birthday mon, dp treated me to a facial & a massage, was soooo relaxing.
He has also paid for me to start having driving lessons again, so wish me luck! I will def need it, i seriously must be the worst driver ever, have already had 2 years worth of lessons but then i gave up!

Rumpel- cant believe you're 6 months now!

The wedding prep is going good thanks, feel really organised, where we changed the date & already had a lot booked we seem to be ahead of ourselves now! Just gotta sort out the mens suits & find my dress!
Oh & sort out a honeymoon.

nice to hear from you again mellin & eeyore.
Hope everyone else is well
x

majormoo · 29/03/2008 11:37

I haven't been on here for ages either but wanted to say congratulations to Samsmam and PL. Hope you are getting a bit of rest.

We are all OK, although like Mellin, we have been struck by cold/conjunctivitus for ages now and a bit fed up of being cooped up.

Rumpel I hope your pregnancy is progressing well and you are not too tired.

BabyDucky enjoy organising the rest of the wedding

We are ttc our third/last baby at the moment but no luck so far (early miscarriage last month so having a month off this month.)

Anyway take care all-hope all your boys are well Gingeme

gingeme · 29/03/2008 21:36

Ive missed so much these past few weeks. Sam your daughters are so beautiful. Wow and so alike well done you
Pl what a cutie too. Absolutely gorgeous.
Sam watched your montage with tears in my eyes.
Been busy here with all the lo's. George is doing fab. Getting bigger and noisier by the day. Edward is getting rather cheeky these days. He keeps steeling Georges dummy. Not that I use it that often but when I do he swipes it when Im not looking.
We went away for a long weekend a couple of weeks ago to Haven in Hastings. My parents came with us. It was very nice if a bit cold. But since then Edward walks around the flat shouting'gandad' at the top of his voice. So funny.
My big boys are staying with us from the 3rd April. It will be the first time they will have met George. Wow all 5 boys together. Ill be taking lots of pictures
Rumple well done on your course. I hope your pg is getting better with time. Remind me when are you due again?
Hi to everyone else hope you and your lo's are all well.
I will try to pop in a bit more when I get time.
Take care all xxxxxx

gingeme · 30/03/2008 11:53

gingeme · 30/03/2008 18:55

Lol samsam wait till next month atleast

samsmam · 30/03/2008 19:30

next month tomorrow!

gingeme · 30/03/2008 20:29

sam stop please! I cant believe how much your girls look alike. Its wonderful.
Edward is poorly at the moment. Seems to be off his food and has a sore throat. He has stolen a dummy from George and seems to be sucking it more and more. I have thrown it away and hope he doesn't remeber it tommorrow. He hasn't had one so far he's not going to start using one now

samsmam · 31/03/2008 08:15

I will stop! I am going to wait until Samantha is at nursery school before I even think about it as a maybe! I think DP would love a boy but I might just have the girl gene. 3 teenage girls-

Sam has woken up with a cold, now I am thinking how do I look after both of them, hoping its the teeth and not tonsilltus again. It is so demanding.........

gingeme · 31/03/2008 10:29

Welcome to my world Sam. Deep breaths and keep patient. It sounds hard but it does work. Lol at the girl gene. Dont forget its Daddy that decides
Could always do a swap over a weekend at some time if you like? Would be interesting wouldn't it?
Dh thought your montage was lovely. He said Sam and Edward would have great fun together if they ever met again.
Mmmmm..... I wonder

babyducky · 31/03/2008 14:53

lovely montage gingeme, your boys are gorgeous, i commented on it in case you wondered who it was!

ive done a new one, will do link later.

samsmam hope you are well?x

samsmam · 31/03/2008 16:32

Well Gingeme- if you are ever passing the Gravesend area pop in! I think Edward and Sam will get on famously! She hardly ever gets to meet other little ones her age although I have just started taking her to a stay and play place, she loves it.

Got Sophie weighed today she is already 10lb 5oz. I'm thinking another chunky baby!! Oh well all the more to cuddle.

I am ok thanks babyducky, knackered and overwhelmed sometimes and wonder if I will ever sleep for a full night again but other than that great!!

Is anyone in to facebook? Or on facebook?

gingeme · 31/03/2008 17:08

No havn't too many good things about face book tbh.
Wow at Sophies weight. I had George weighed today and he's 14lb 1 oz. Like you say another cuddly baby
Thanks babyducky glad you liked it. Look forward to seeing yours soon.
Where is everyone else these days/
Ihope Rumples doing ok.

babyducky · 31/03/2008 18:09

glad you are well samsmam.

x

gingeme · 31/03/2008 20:48

Oh does that mean Ill have to join facebook to talk to the others?
I find it hard enough to keep up with everyone on here.....

samsmam · 31/03/2008 21:02

No I won't leave I was just been nosey!! x

babyducky · 31/03/2008 21:08

come on you two!
U know you wanna join!

samsmam · 01/04/2008 07:53

I am already on there. Just wondered how many people from here were. Not sure how I would find people and get people to add me without publically announcing our first and surname, which I don't really want to do on here.

gingeme · 01/04/2008 11:04

Thats exactly why I don't want to join it.
We were talking about you this morning Sam. dh says your girls are lovely
Any news from Rumple ?

babyducky · 01/04/2008 12:30
