Heehee thought I'd start the new thread. there seemed to be a recurring theme from everyone's recent posts - hence the title.

Hope everyone's well and that you found us without too much trouble

babyducky · 13/03/2008 07:54

thankyou rumpel, just been having a look. Gonna show dp later.

I'm not even sure weather to see the dermatologist, Will they be able to advise me about more natural things do you think?
I think they are just gonna try to give me more steroid creams???
I'm not sure if i should just see a homeopath or wait & see what dermatologist says first.

Have a good weekend gingeme, Have you got anything planned or are you just staying on the haven site?
I will look out for you

gingeme · 13/03/2008 13:11

Hi babyducky. Not sure yet. I havn't even started packing yet!I guess it all depends on the weather. I definately want to go to Camber Sands if we can.
Ill let you know how it goes.
Take care all x

babyducky · 13/03/2008 14:37

camber is really good in the summer,

theres quite a lot to do in the old town part of hastings if its nice weather, hopefully it will be!

samsmam · 13/03/2008 15:42

Have finally caught up with all the posts.

Well it certainly is a different life with two children!! Not sure what I expected.

I have been backwards and forwards to the hospital with baby Sophie and her jaundice. We stayed the night last Saturday and then was back up there Monday. I think we stayed the night too because the nurses were worried about my state of mind too. I have been very emotional, even more so than last time. Hope it isn't PND returning. Not sure what I am struggling with really. Maybe a 17 month old and a two week old!!

Gingeme- Have a great weekend.

PL- you must be very near. I do hope it happens naturally for you. I was desperate for natural labour instead of induction. Fingers crossed.

I am adding more photos to profile. You can see how yellow Sophie has gone.

A very cheeky photo of Samantha too! x

princessllama · 14/03/2008 21:36

hi everyone. am still pg-day 15 and feeling a bit down. all the family keep phoning and texting and it's making me feel like a failure for not having produced yet. have been booked in for an induction on monday if nothing happens before.
samsmam i am really nervous about dealing with 2, you can't imagine the exhaustion level before hand i bet. sophie looks so pretty in the picture, can't notice the yellowness. hope samantha is coping ok. my dd is suddenly being really clingy and we haven't even got the baby yet.
rumpel hope you're surviving the course.
have a great holiday gingeme-really impressive going anywhere for any amount of time with such a little one.
babyducky, i think it's worth going to the dermatologist if only to have them see that you're doing what they say, just in case it got really bad-they wouldn't then be able to say'well, if you'd come to our apt...etc'.

samsmam · 15/03/2008 06:44

PL- hope it all happens for you before Monday.
Are you being monitored every day now?
Samantha has become very clingy to me, I think they sense it. She still keeps lifting my top up, maybe she wants to put Sophie back!

DP is already talking about more children!! I said maybe in a few years.

RUMPEL · 16/03/2008 16:16

Evening ladies.
Come on Prinseccllama wheres this lo? Its not that hard having a baby you know? Youve done it before. Its a doddle
Had a great if a bit cold weekend. Certainly wont be doing it again this time of year though.
lo was briliant and slept loads in his little pop up cot. Edward was absolutely s**t scared of Roarey the tiger (we went to Havens) so we only went to see him one evening with ds3 who loved him.
Went into Hastings today on our way home though not alot was open as its the wrong time of year.
Edwrad bit David tonight in the bath. I got him straigh out, he loved his bath, and dried him and put him to bed. I know hes teething again but Im not putting up with that
Well Ive got a tonne of washing to do tommorrow as well as everything else.
Ill try to pop in tommorrow to see if there is any news from pl.
Night all xxx

princessllama · 18/03/2008 12:46

taffy101 · 18/03/2008 21:22

Congrats princess!!!xx Lovely name - your dad will get used to it. Everyone grows into their name I think!

Welcome jingleyjen

Ginge lol at edward being scared of the tiger. Took owen to the library the other day cos the Bookstart bear was going to be there. One little boy was v. scared, everyone else was hugging it but owen was only brave enough to point at it - didn't want to get too close! Glad you had nice weekend. We are off to Wales for easter so hopes the weather bucks up a bit. Have had to buy Owen new gloves as he threw one of his away on Friday - ggrr.

gingeme · 20/03/2008 19:07

Hi everyone. Yes we are going back in the summer for a week this time and without my parents
Edward has been going around shouting 'gandad' at the top of his voice after his weekend with Nanny and Grandad

EeyoreIsFab · 22/03/2008 12:13

Hi everyone!

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long. I hardly get on the computer now and when I do I'm meant to be working (like now ) or shopping.

I just managed to find thread, but haven't had time to look back - hope you're all ok and congratulations to those who've had new additions to their families since October.

Does anyone else's LO (OCT 06) not say anything yet? I'm not sure when to start panicking about it. DS still sticks to 'dadadada' type sounds and has given up saying the 'mumu' sound that he used to make . But he is very active and does understand what you're saying to him.

gingeme · 22/03/2008 22:14

Hi Eeyorisfab good to hear from you
No Edwrad doesnt say many words yet except gandad and dada which goes for anything from Daddy to David, ds3's name to me realy. He jabbers on with great meaning though and points at stuff as if were meant to know what hes on about . Bit like a drunken old man he he its so funny.
Hope everyone else is well especialy the new Mums

EffiePerine · 25/03/2008 13:47

Congratulations Princess

Eeoyre: DS babbles a lot and comes out with a few 'real' words, but I find he can say something one day then completely forget about it the next . I don;t think language is gained in a straight line IYSWIN, they try stuff out then forget about it then do it again at a later date. If you're worried, why not have a word with the HV? I don;t think they'll do much until they're at least 2 though.

AbbyMumsnet · 25/03/2008 14:50

Hello all - sorry to barge in, but if you haven't already done so, would you think about completing our sleep survey here? If you do you'll be entered into a lovely comp to win £1250 of rather special, children's furniture. Thanks ever so!

samsmam · 26/03/2008 07:55

Introducing Sophie

Just a short one!

princessllama · 26/03/2008 11:23

well done samsmam, she lovely, can't believe you managed to be organised enough to get that done-fab job.

princessllama · 26/03/2008 11:25
