Jas have a lovely time Hartlepool is it? or did I dream that?

Flame for payment crisis sorted for poorly and no trip though. Will try and check the site out when I get a sec.

EPPM {{{{Big Hugs}}}} to your friend, 10 years is a long time. How are you doing with it all?

What's everyone upto today then? we have a 2nd birthday boy to go partying with this afternoon, so that's the dd's tea taken care of. Frizbe ponders where she's put the presents she brought on Monday, brain like a sieve here honestly. for my ebay starting to get bids too! hurrah! finally selling some of the dd's baby toys and might finally have a taker at nursery for my stair gates! (been on the boards in the local shops for weeks, was just getting interest on the mumsnet boards when they shut it all down, bah!)

Oooh Meridian's dh was very sweet and got her www.meridianariel.com for valentines day her site is slowly growing, hobby turning into a job me thinks?

Frizbe · 16/02/2008 09:42

Phoenix how's ds? how's trace2's ds doing, they belive her yet????

Flamesparrow · 16/02/2008 12:19

Aww that was really nice of MrMeridian

Phoenix · 16/02/2008 13:48

Friz - Ds is fine he's had a barking cough for a few days and spent 2 nights waking up a lot but he's fine now, we're taking his birthday cake and candles to my grandmas today (only a week late). Trace2's ds is still in and they're still not believing her.

Flame - Cars are a pain in the arse aren't they, why do they cost us so much?? for no trip, hope you feel better soon.

EPPM - for friend

Hope everyone's ok

mustrunmore · 16/02/2008 14:55

I've been sorting dh's clothes out for him

And he's horrified because I've got a great plan for rearranging the front room again! It means putting the bookcase back where it was a few weeks ago (so the x trainer will go in that space when Dad brings it ). And the other catch is hoping we get a settee off freecycle that I've just asked about. And then me and dh have to carry it back from Muswell hill while my neighbour looks after the boys; about an hours walk if we're laden! I dont think it'd fit in other friends estate. If we dont get that one, therre's a ouple on ebay so fingers crossed they dont go for too much.

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/02/2008 15:07

What's wrong with existing sofa?

mustrunmore · 16/02/2008 15:23

Nothing! Just that when we're all at home, its a bit like the 3 wise monkeys all lined up on it sitting together. Obv I'm very happy being in the middle , but it'd be nice to sit facing someone every now and again!

are you relieved that you didnt say 'oh good, because i always thought your exisitng sofa was shit'

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/02/2008 15:26

So you're going to have 2 sofas in the room? And a treadmill? And a cross trainer? And the bookcase? And the computer cabinet? And the toybox?

mustrunmore · 16/02/2008 16:13

Yes. But trust me, it will be fine. Small sofa. Better use of dead space in the middle of the room. Hasnt been a toybox in here for a while anyway.

2boysmacca · 16/02/2008 18:02

You are quite clearly a mad woman!

mustrunmore · 16/02/2008 18:55

Not at all.
Have moved bookcase now, but put setttee back inits usual lace till we get another one, else the room really does look at bit one sided.

Flamesparrow · 16/02/2008 19:43

Hyaving problems picturing it, btu I'm sure it'll be fiiiiiiine

As you can see, brain still very floaty, and fingers not co-ordinating.

Have you heard from Hunker CSWS? I heard nothing after the email Worried I have offended her.

Got an appoiontment for referral with community paed for DD - I am assuming it is the AS referral, but am a bit baffled because it has her school on the letter, but not her GP's name, which seems weird as it was the GP who was referring. The other option would be SALT which school is doing, but their assessments are done in school. Got to call on Monday anyway to see if they have any appointments at a different time, that aren;t 12 months down the line - it is mid school afternoon, so if I can get one slightly later, or in the morning it would be better, but if it is a case of taking that or waiting months, then I will just have to carefully explain that she will be leaving school early and find a way of making up for it.

Flamesparrow · 16/02/2008 19:44

EPPM - I finished the book Really enjoyed it, thank you Do you want me to post it back to you, or pass it on to someone else?

Frizbe · 16/02/2008 20:46

Flame are school assessing her already then? just asking cause my friends ds who started this year was flagged for assesment after the 1st few weeks, parents called straight in the whole shebang as far as my friend and her dh were concerned, they'd not even thought there was anythign awry bar the odd normal bit of being ignored every now and again.... he's being assessed in school currently from what I can gather, with parental updating on an ongoing basis for now

MRM I hope your room is big enough to fit all that in don't fancy the hours walk with the sofa, but at least you'll have somewhere to sit when you need a rest someone might even bring you a cuppa out eh? (round London with a sofa, as opposed to Ireland with a fridge)

CSWS what you been upto then? owt of interest?

dd2 had a lovely time at the party and came home pleased as punch with her party box and balloon looked a picture walking up the driveway with it to her dad

Flamesparrow · 16/02/2008 21:26

I have absolutely no idea what it is now tbh.

I was waiting on a referral for AS from the GP (had the appointment with GP beginning of Dec).

School said they wanted her to see SALT. Found out a few weeks ago that sod all had been done, her form had only just been handed in, and it was about 13 week wait after that for the initial assessment.

Neither of her friends with birthdays the same sort of time have had a letter, which makes it seem unlikely it is a standard reception thing.

The letter says her school on it though, rather than GP name, which makes me think it is school related.

Paper is Poole Hospital paper which seems odd, but Bournemouth don't have a paed dept so maybe all community paed things are Poole based.

In short - I have no idea what it is about. I'm leaning towards it being a hearing test now - they might do that before the SALT assessment. I will call on Monday and ask - and knowing my luck because it is school related it will be shut for half term. if it is AS related, I am tempted not to warn DD other than that she will be leaving school early that day, so they can see how she reacts when she has no warning - but I know how cruel that would be to her not sure I could do it
