I have only stopped because J is crying for no apparent reason. Has refused Nurofen (spat it back at me) and thats the only medicine I can ever get into him (he hates strawberry).
Now back on here with him being jiggled on my knees

Phoebe sends kisses of love (although she is asleep )

I am ok, Oooggs, just tired, nothing new there - needs to stop procrastinating.....

PillockOfTheCommunity · 13/01/2008 20:07

Its my nephew btw! Boys only family here ... nine to be exact!

They are going for more tests next week - he is 2 years old and doesn;t speak at all really. He will have to wera hearing aids and the consultant said should take him a few weeks to get used to them.

I am buffed, polished and sparkling ready for tomorrow - so a quick shower in morning, hair straightened and make up and I'm ready! Interview is at 10.45am ....

Must go to bed early tonight!

oooggs · 13/01/2008 20:19

lucky ellie

does anyone else make things hard for themselves?????

I am always sorting & tidying, I can't leave things (even when I'm tired) everything must be just so.

I am oooggs and I have a very mild form of ocd

I am constantly thinking of things to do around the house, moving stuff etc... come on admit it - aren't we all a bit like that?

oooggs · 13/01/2008 20:21

sorry octo - I should have remembered that!! the boys only bit

PillockOfTheCommunity · 13/01/2008 20:21

hope it goes really well octo, you'll be fab I'm sure

OP posts:
oooggs · 13/01/2008 20:21

CaptainDippy · 13/01/2008 20:21

PillockOfTheCommunity · 13/01/2008 20:22

OP posts:
Octothechildherder · 13/01/2008 20:22

I def have OCD In the morning the dirty clothes have to be in the washing basket, nappies in nappy bucket, dishes in kitchen, curtains open and beds made before we go to school. And I would be late to make sure they get done!! Its not really OCD its being orderly

eddas · 13/01/2008 20:23

hi everyone, i'm bored and tired. which really means I chould go to bed doesn't it

eddas · 13/01/2008 20:25

I am definately NOT a clean freak person.Poor dh wishes I was I have got better and had you seen my paretns house(that's MUM & DAD not step-mothers and Dad) you'd know why. They never threw anything away.

oooggs · 13/01/2008 20:27

hurrah - not just me and as for multi tasking .......... I can do loads of things yet still pop on mn every 3-5 mins

lol ellie - you just have more important things to do like younger men

I feel much better knowing you have to do all that octo even if it makes you late

eddas - I'm bored & tired too, but always tired so makes no difference really

dippy - of the joys of sorting

Maveta · 13/01/2008 20:28

yes I am so like that. Although dh is much worse he's currently gleefully washing up because I've made him leave the few dishes that were on the side since lunchtime (only because we're almost out of fairy and no shops open til tomorrow) and he's been hardly able to bear it. Freak. Every evening after N is bed I think "nope, not going to do a thing. I´m going to sit on the sofa and relax and sod the house" and then "well I´ll just tidying the sittingroom". "really, might aswell pop a load in the machine". "if I get his bag ready tonight there´ll be more time in the morning" etc etc. dh is late for work everyday because he faffs about in the house so much.

good luck tomorrow octo!

oooggs · 13/01/2008 20:28

when I was in late teens and my parents left me at home whilst they went on holiday, their house was cleaner & tidier when they came back my favourite job was a cleaner when I was doing my A'levels - shame it doesn't pay as much (or have great childcare) as the government

Eddas · 13/01/2008 20:30

Oooggs, i know people who make a mint out of cleaning. Mind you childcare might be an issue! Maybe when they are all at school?

Octo, good luck with the interview

PillockOfTheCommunity · 13/01/2008 20:32

I want to be like you

OP posts:
oooggs · 13/01/2008 20:33

yes maybe, because even when they are at scholl I won't be working Mon & Tues due to holiday childcare so could maybe do something then 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011........... ok only a few years away

oooggs · 13/01/2008 20:33

cheers ellie - now I have the jungle book song in my head

PillockOfTheCommunity · 13/01/2008 20:35
