Hey ladies;

Back from a lovely weekend down at parents. Had a great time at the match yesterday. C was very wll behaved for his grannies. Decided his great grandad's head was the perfect place to blow raspberrys on much to everyones amusement!!

So sorry to hear about your sisters SIL Dippy.

Oooggs - glad Friday went as well as could be expected and that you are recovering.

Leaky - fab news about the house.

SPB - Thanks for asking about me you stalker kind person!!

Well a little bit of news here, well not news really but as part of my new year diet/fitness campaign I have decided I am going to run the Great North Run this year, in memory of JimJim, and in aid of Debra. So start collecting your pennies girlies as I will be bugging asking you all to kindly sponsor me closer to the time!!!

Nothing much else to report here really I dont think, C still cruising around thinking he's a big boy, cheeky as ever.

CaptainDippy · 13/01/2008 20:46

DH doesn't want me to tell you that he is lying on the floor

PillockOfTheCommunity · 13/01/2008 20:46

welcome back GMM
quick question, do I have your mobile number?
I have an entry in my phone that says MN(your first name)
but I think that somuchtobits from my Suffolk threads has the same first name as you and I can't remember which of you it is

Eddas · 13/01/2008 20:46

geordiemacminx · 13/01/2008 20:52

POTC - My number ends 177?

Eddas - Its 13 miles, so a half marathon. Gonna try and do a coupleof smaller runs before it to get into the swing of things as I have never done anything like this before. I keep chattering away about it, dp is most uniterested as I dont think that he thinks for one minute I will do it!!

weeonion · 13/01/2008 20:52

geordiemacminx · 13/01/2008 20:54

Yep Baby Sensory on Thursday.

CaptainDippy · 13/01/2008 20:56

He was hunting for marshmallows, or ants, or both....

Eddas · 13/01/2008 20:58

I was thinking that I may try to actually RUN the race for life this year. It's 5km(3 and a bit miles) then if I can do that i'll run their bigger 10km race which is later in the year. But this is only if I can shift my big butt and start running! I need a running buddy!

Will definately sponsor you gmm

PillockOfTheCommunity · 13/01/2008 20:58

ah well, that makes sense then

GMM, good on you

Pesha · 13/01/2008 21:53

Octo - good luck tomorrow

StealthPolarBear · 13/01/2008 22:05

Hope your nephew didn't mind the sex change octo, I think it was my fault I was sure it was a girl, have just checked your post and at no point did you say little girl (and why would you when he's a boy? ) so will put it down to my age and move on. ahem. Anyway, hope he manages OK with them and they help with the speaking! Good luck for tomorrow.
Hello stalkee, at 13 mile run! Definitely will sponsor you, and ignore your DP, you will do it!
No, definitely not obsessively tidy here, in prtest against my mum who is. (When T was born she gave me a cartoon thing along the lines of "The dust will wait...your baby won't" - a few weeks later she came to see us and offered to dust )
The only thing I do like to do is make sure the kitchen is fairly clean and tidy before going to bed, only because it depresses me if I have to clean it before I have my breakfast. In fact I fill the kettle up and sometimes leave a coffee cup and the ocffee out the night before so I don;t have to go to too much effort for my first coffee! Sad, I know.
Hope your DH has found either ants or marshmallows Dippy. Will he eat them either way? Have you seen that shop in York where you can get chocolate ants and lollies with scorpions in them?
Hi everyone else. Lol at you falling asleep talking to S last night (or the night before?) Ellie! Then waking up and continuing!
RIght, better be off, have changed the bed and moved the dirty clothes mountain out of our bedroom. Have put some washing on and cleaned the kitchen. Wow I sound like a domestic goddess, so why do I still live in such a pigsty??

PillockOfTheCommunity · 13/01/2008 22:12

I currently have 3 people chatting to me on msn - all men

OP posts:
Pesha · 13/01/2008 22:15

I'm also not a particularly tidy person. House is always a mess atm although has been worse. I think you can judge my mental state quite well by the state of my home as when I'm depressed/down its always the first thing to give so the worse I'm feeling the worse the house is!

Pesha · 13/01/2008 22:15

Hussy!!!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 13/01/2008 22:19

I only came on to answer an email but have been sucked in! Good night everyone!

elkiedee · 13/01/2008 22:29

Hi all, No internet most of the afternoon and evening, and I'm only online now by virtue of dp being able to piggyback on someone else's internet connection. Grrr at Virgin, this is the second time in a few weeks and it's soooo annoying.

Pesha · 13/01/2008 22:30

Off to bed I think, night all x

elkiedee · 13/01/2008 22:36

Sorry to hear about your sister's inlaws Dippy.

Glad to hear you've so many admirers POTC.

Mumsnet games? I had a look but I think I'll try to steer clear, assuming I ever get a proper net connection back. My addiction to Facebook Scrabulous is wasting more than enough time as it is.
