best thing to say when you can't think of what to say

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi Luce

I need to get back on my exercise bike. Used to do it in evenings when dc were in bed but its quite noisey so I have to wait until they're fully asleep iyswim. Also its previous space has been filled by other things now and its buried under a pile of stuff atm, not sure where to put it now. Like to watch tv while I'm doing it so the time goes quicker, otherwise I just get bored after 5 minutes!

But really need to lose weight before the summer, will get too depressed if I'm still this fat when it comes to wearing little summery clothes.

StealthPolarBear · 14/01/2008 13:03

our bathroom door has jammed shut

Pesha · 14/01/2008 13:03

Where are you all???

Pesha · 14/01/2008 13:04

Kick it??

StealthPolarBear · 14/01/2008 13:05

tried that

StealthPolarBear · 14/01/2008 13:06

i think the handles stopped turning the thingy inside the door

Lucewits · 14/01/2008 13:09

Hi Pesha, the incentive of nice summer clothes is certainly motivating me at the moment. My dh kindly put my cross trainer in the bedroom (was previously int the garage) It is next to my wardrobe and my lovely pre-pg clothes that dont fit yet!
I look longingly at those whilst trying to do that extra km each night.

SPB, door fixed yet???? How is it jammed?

Lucewits · 14/01/2008 13:10

Can you unscrew the handle and use pliers (sp?) to turn the thingy?

StealthPolarBear · 14/01/2008 13:11

I'm in
[uncrosses legs]
and I was right, have just sammed it open for now so T can't go in and the door shut behind him, DH can sort it out tonight

Pesha · 14/01/2008 13:13

tricky SPB. Do you have need to get in their or do you have another toilet you can use for now? May have to take door off hinges or unscrew handle?

Luce thats a good idea re the clothes that dont fit!! I need to do something to get myself more motivated. I was doing really well before xmas but have got into bad habits again and finding it hard to break out of.

Maveta · 14/01/2008 13:49

i am such a softie since having N! Called a nursery this morning to ask for some info and arrange to go see it. Called dh straight away to update him and started crying! what a wally i am.

Pesha · 14/01/2008 13:52

D still asleep Wooo Hooo!!!!!

Not quite sure what to do with myself though I would do housewoirk obviously but dont want to risk waking him up!

Was supposed to be taking him to baby clinic today to get weighed but they've changed so you have to sit and wait til you're called and i always have to wait at least half an hour. Clinic is between half 1 and 3 (I think), its a 20 min walk at least and have to collect dc from school at 3.10 which is a further 15 mins Oh well car is now fixed and awaiting collection so I can go next week instead, I havent had him weighed in ages! Which is a good thing I think considering how hung up on it I got before.

You know this post was going to be 'he's still asleep' and that was it!

And now hes awake!!!

NorthernLurker · 14/01/2008 13:53

Maveta - welcome to the mummy weeping club - I cry about EVERYTHING

Hope you get the door fixed SPB - re my name - I could change it - but that would require thought and I quite like this one - I think it gives me a pleasing air of mystery

Not getting much done today - bit tired after the weekend so B and I sneaked back to bed for her nap

geordiemacminx · 14/01/2008 13:56

Went upstairs to get some washing, came down, C had shut the glass-panelled door and was stood up against it so I couldnt get in... Had to push it gently so he fell into his bum so I could get back in.... Little toad
