PillockOfTheCommunity · 11/01/2008 12:11

CaptainDippy · 11/01/2008 12:14

I am indeed Dippy again! I was missing the old persona - Still love my Dyson though!

Right. Need to feed DH (coming home for lunch, yey ), DD's 2 & 3 and myself before buzzing out to get DD1 from Pre-School, drop DH back at work and head off to Soft Play for the PM ......

Have good afternoons all.

DD2 wants to type something .....

Thank you for new thread POTC

Last baby was Bumble's L, born May 9th or something - is that what you meant!!?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 11/01/2008 12:14

don't leave me talking to myself

OP posts:
weeonion · 11/01/2008 12:14

elkie's maybe??

CaptainDippy · 11/01/2008 12:15

Bumble's wee one was 10lb!!!

Off now ....

PillockOfTheCommunity · 11/01/2008 12:16

that is what I meant, I thought SPB was later than that for some reason

ok, so mid may then???

birmingham way, as that's fairly central???

or two, one north and one south, same day, same time, so we can sort of all be at one???

with a pile of washing at the northern one so SPB can be there

Sexonlegs · 11/01/2008 12:33

Thanks for the new thread POTC.

I am up for a meet up to celebrate 1st birthdays - would be lovely.

CaptainDippy · 11/01/2008 12:50

Right, DH dealing with younger 2 and I am up here "collecting bits for this pm"

Best go before he realises!

Up for attending some sort of meet-up definitely .......

PillockOfTheCommunity · 11/01/2008 12:52

Maybe multiple meet-ups are the way to go?

easier to organise, but I can't be at all of them if we do them all at the same time, and I don't know how i'd choose

OP posts:
Pesha · 11/01/2008 13:17

Maybe go to meet people you haven't already met? Which would be Scotland or Spain then i guess?!

Wasnt SPB's T born just couple days before D? Or is that someone else? Who had a baby on the 21st? [lazy cant be arsed to search emoticon]

Pesha · 11/01/2008 13:18

Not that I dont want you to come to same meet up as me POTC or that I'm trying to get you to be as far away as poss or anything

Nathan came home from school yesterday singing YMCA Not sure thats what I'm sending him to school to learn really

justpinions · 11/01/2008 14:04

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGREAT title !!!

WestCountryLass · 11/01/2008 14:15

Urgh, hellish start to the day. DS1 starts by growling at DD and chasing her around and leaping out on her (aka Wildmutt), DD is running around shreaking...after a while it is doing my head in and I start shreaking too, having tried various other more positive parenting methods. Now I am in a bad mood. DD won't get dressed so I have to forcibly dress her and then strap her into Leos highchair for breakfast so she can't get undressed again. Give her her breakfast, she doesn't want it and flings the bowl on the floor, I grab the bowl and say fine no breakfast and fling it in the sink (rice crispies all up the kitchen window and over the floor).

Off to school, get absolutely drenched, go to Mothercare for retail therapy and get Leo a new single 3-wheeler buggy, get drenched, take DD and Leo to music, get drenched, pick up friends child to take to nursery with DD, get drenched, get them in nursery, get drenched.

The joys of parenting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I am preparing to put full waterpoofs on as it is raining cats and dogs i.e. getting ready for another drenching (no wonder Leo is full of cold) before they start winding each other up after school.

Tonight is wine and chocolate night me thinks

WestCountryLass · 11/01/2008 14:16

PS. I am starting to think about Leos birthday party already . He is going to his first party a week on Saturday, will be so sweet!

leakyR · 11/01/2008 15:01

Like the birthday meet-up idea! And the thread title "um didle-iddle-iddle um diddle-eye"

G goes to his first birthday party a week on Monday, I bought a cute gift today for his friend Rose.

He slept for (fanfare) 6 HOURS IN A ROW last night he hasn't done it for months and months(Actaully did 3.5 then 6 then 2.5) I'm hoping nursery is making him tired enough to sleep longer Almost makes me feel better about going back to work on Tuesday

Pesha · 11/01/2008 16:02

Yay for G sleeping Leaky

WCL - I empathise with you totally on the crap mornings But lol at wildmutt (or Slobberdog as N calls him ), we have Accelerate today but it changes daily And he was Snotrod on the way to school yesterday which is quite good cos he sneezes and gets a sudden burst of speed and runs, makes the school run alot quicker

Horrible rainy day today although sleet just now, nearly D's first snow! i'm on my 3rd pair of socks already as my shoes leak

DD and DS1 both have friends round for tea today think i must be mad! Although actually I think its easier when they both have friends round as cuts out the annoying brother/sister wanting to join in! Was going to cook spag bol or other similar mince based meal but apparently dd's friend wont eat anything that doesnt look like a fish finger, chicken nugget or sausage So sausages it is! All of them playing upstairs atm will have to go check in a minute!

Still no news from garage re my car [fingers crossed]

Kneehighinnappies · 11/01/2008 16:36

Hello all, have been having a bit of a wankey time the past few days, had a funeral to go to yesterday was not too bad but dh was utterly useless with the dc's makes me feel like I can't leave him in charge of them

On a brighter note didn't want say anything incase it didn't work, but I have potty trained dd1.
It has been a couple of weeks since she wore a nappy during the day (she still needs them at night and for naps) but she poo's and wee's in her potty and even when we are out

StealthPolarBear · 11/01/2008 17:14

hi everyone
just getting on thread
well done KHIN's dd1!

Sexonlegs · 11/01/2008 17:47

Hi folks.

Good to see you WCL and Leaky.

Good news re the sleeping Leaky.

Sorry about the pants morning WCL - hopefully the day got better tho.

KHIN, fab news re the potty training - long may she stay dry etc!

Hi SPB.

Oogggs, how did it go today?

Where is Eddas????

All ok here, although K's tummy is a bit dodgy. Hoping it is teeth related and not a bug.

Been to the dentist this pm - he is lush! I think he is Polish or Croatian. Dark haired and the most amazing greeny eyes. I have to try not to dribble all over the place! He looks a bit like the yummy doctor that was in ER - Dr Kovec. Needless to say, I have booked the 6 month check up!

Right, whingy baby so had better go. Taking B to a party later - starts at 6.0 and finishes at 8.30!! Think we will only go for an hour.

See you later loves xx

oooggs · 11/01/2008 17:51

hi all - epu was ok (ish) put in room on my own (dh with dcs at home) chat with midwife, had a scan, all ok, just on bit to come out and that will probably be next period - all back to normal and....... I have nearly finished bleeding [hurrah]

Sexonlegs · 11/01/2008 17:52

Oh Oooggs, glad things went as well as they could. How are you feeling?

oooggs · 11/01/2008 17:58
