Hi loves

Busy on here today!

Elkie, I am so sorry to hear about the burglary. How frightening. Hope you are ok, and that the insurance company pay out.

I agree with MJ re the treatment of them! Bloody cheek of them to invade your space and steal your things.

MJ, sorry you are still feeling blue. x

POTC, great news about J sleeping so well last night!

Pesha, oh no to v and d. Hope D is ok soon. Same to you as well - are you going to see the doc?

IDOC, hope S is ok and hasn't got this awful norovirus. When I dropped K at nursery today, it had v and d up on the board as reported illnesses. I was half tempted to take her home with me!

Hi Caz, Captain, Maveta, Octo, WCL and Oooggs and everyone I haven't mentioned.

fpesha · 08/01/2008 20:09

Hi all.

Sol - prob wont see dr just yet. Had physio on my neck a couple years ago which helped abit I think but was bloody painful some of the time too I think the main thing that helped last time was buying a new pillow so may have to do that again.

Oooggs at dts weights! Just goes to show though that it really is down to the babies how they grow iyswim. And will def have to try and meet up.

Ellie - are you suggesting I should escape leave the older dc? Cos otherwise I dont think 5 seats would be enough! Should have my car back soon hopefully so we can always all go in 2 cars.

Octo will have to meet up with you again sometime too, not sure when where or how but I'll let you know if I'm heading your way at all.

oooggs · 08/01/2008 20:14

Pesha - I have just listed two memory foam pillows in my local paper, normal shaped and brand new. Well dh and I tried them for about 3 minutes and didn't fancy them - they can with our bed. If you think they would be any good you can have them for postage

Sexonlegs · 08/01/2008 20:23

Oooggs, wow indeed re the dt's weights. A petite lady and a macho man!!

OK, I need to air something. Had a run in with the inlaws at Christmas. It was ridiculous. Too long to go in to here, but fil was v rude to me. It is mil's 60th birthday this Thursday, and they are coming down here to spend the day with dh. I am at work - thank fucking God. I just don't want to see them. But, they will be here when I get home. I am dreading it.

Sorry, had to get that off my chest.

mammyjo · 08/01/2008 20:33

Hello. Glad some of you found my earlier comment amusing Was one of those things that you say before thinking (or rather that I posted the message without previewing!).

Pesha, hope you get your neck sorted soon. If you and ellie are meeting up with oooggs then can I come please? Will really try to get there this time!

Slightly better day today, hoping it is the start of better days for me >> Took last dose of meds last Thursday so hoping effects are going now.

Off now, have good evenings all xxxx

mammyjo · 08/01/2008 20:34

SOL, are they staying for dinner? If not then could dh get rid of them before you get back?! Not sure what time you finish work though so that may not be a very good plan

oooggs · 08/01/2008 20:38

wow ellie, pesha & mammyjo - cool whens it happening??????? octo, wcl you both in?????

oooggs · 08/01/2008 20:39

mammyjo · 08/01/2008 20:43

Oooggs, breathe....................

mammyjo · 08/01/2008 20:43

Yes runny is very close to me, going to her house this Thursday!

oooggs · 08/01/2008 20:47

breathe??????????!!!!!!!! just had to get my inhaler

Sexonlegs · 08/01/2008 21:01

MJ, I think the plan is for us to go out for a meal - an early one so that Becky and Katie can come. I did say to dh that he should go out with them in the evening and I would babysit. Tbh, I would love not see them again - particularly fil. He is a wan*.

fpesha · 08/01/2008 21:06

Oooggs thats really kind thank you but those memory foam pillows are expensive! If you've advertised them then keep trying to sell them and if you cant then let me know! I wont be buying anything for a week or 2 anyway as totally skint.

Was in tesco earlier and card was declined It was only £50 and I had more than that in there yesterday but obviously something else must have gone out Had to send dp running out to the cash machine to get the child benefit out my meant to be savings but always gets spent account January is always like this cos I always spend too much at christmas!

StealthPolarBear · 08/01/2008 21:06

thanks for the offer oooggs!
caz, sorry my post was rambling. I was womdering if my friend would be upset if T didn't go as she's invited him. Def don't want him to go - we will all hate it!
SOL, any chance you'll have to work late? Or could you even clear the air?
right think dh will have finishd cleaning kitchen now, better go
POTC, why did you ask about poo?

oooggs · 08/01/2008 21:11

They were free pesha (with the new bed) and I just want rid, if you want them I can post them up and you owe me a pint when we finally meet!!!!!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/01/2008 21:20

I'm not sure what I was thinking pesha

OP posts:
Sexonlegs · 08/01/2008 21:23

SPB, we did kind of clear the air, but I just feel like I cannot forgive him. I hate being like this, as I am never like this - he just brings out the worst in me

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/01/2008 21:31

I asked about poo SPB cos when m's increased in volume it was because of his intolerance, but they were loose too

ICK!!!!!

NorthernLurker · 08/01/2008 21:33

SOL - time for a work 'emergency' that means you have to work late???

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/01/2008 21:35

SOL
I've never heard you speak against someone like that, he must have been awful to you

WestCountryLass · 08/01/2008 21:37

Thanks Octo, I am not usually so flakey!

I love kids at weddings, though didn't have any at mine as buggered off abroad

One of my DHs employees got married and invited us all and my two were really good, Jacob even treated everyone to his break dancing a la David Brent, everyone was killing themselves!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/01/2008 21:41

Are we planning a SW meet-up then?

Can I come stay P?

OP posts:
oooggs · 08/01/2008 21:41

please pesha let ellie stay

Sexonlegs · 08/01/2008 21:44

He was pretty rude. When I told my mum, she was livid.

I feel for dh, as he is stuck in the middle. But, I have tried my hardest with them, and fil's outburst at me was uncalled for. Dh was there and thinks his parents over-reacted - so at least he can see where I am coming from.

I do need to forgive and forget, but it is all a bit raw atm.

Sorry, rant over - back to normal happiness!

Going to something called Baby Sensory tomorrow with K, which sounds fab. A mix of activities such as fibre optics, music etc - all stuff that sets their senses alive.

Hope you are all well. xx

CaptainDyson · 08/01/2008 21:44

Don't think your friend will mind at all, SPB - and if you think you'll have a better and more relaxed day, then I think you have made the best decision imho.

How is everyone this evening? I am off to bed soon, very tired!!
