Ah, glad I saw this - what a nice thread title. And am re-posting the message I did on the old thread (was hardly earth shattering, but still):

Received, thanks Along with something that promises to improve my love general hmm Now that is clearly NOT junk... Bizarre.

Best get off to bed now. Have a horrible cough that has kept me awake for two nights (poor G had it over Christmas, bless him), and I'm really hoping for at least a little sleep tonight...

Will make a real effort to be around more xx

Evenin ladies.

Just want to say that I am not prepared for the months to come and not sure whether my nerves will stand up to all the bumps and bangs that seem to be happening aroud here right now. Can't take my eyes off T for more than a second, these things worry me!!

Not ready for all this.

Nice title btw.

Night.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 02/01/2008 23:24

me neither pinions old chum, left J in the bathroom while I came down to drag M up, went back and he wasn't where I left him! thankfully he crawled into the bathroom, not out towards the stairs

hellllllllp

when I took dd to drs about ears the nurse asked how I was. Told her I had mc'd. She asked if I had done a test to confirm. Said I hadn't but with all the blood, crap & pain there was no way I could be pg. Well she gave me a test and told me to do it this morning. I have and it is positive

Surely after nearly 9 weeks of pg it would take a while for hormones to settle and that is why it is positive.

I have to ring this afternoon with result - please reassure me

NorthernLurker · 03/01/2008 07:33

I've seen that a lot on mnet actually so most likely that is what it is but perhaps they should offer you a scan - what do you think - would that help at all?

oooggs · 03/01/2008 07:37

I cancelled the scan at EPU which was supposed to be yesterday morning - because it seemed like a wasted appt. and everything seems so final with my body anyway

NorthernLurker · 03/01/2008 07:42

perhaps the best thing would be to ask them to do a blood test and look at the hcg levels then do another in a few days - or you could just do another hpt but they are so damn sensitive thatit might still come up as positive.

Eddas · 03/01/2008 07:54

oh oooggs, not more worries for you. Really not sure what to say TBH. I know I said it before but how about posting a thread on here? someone might know? That's not much help is it. Sorry.

SOL/any other non-crawlers ds has been crawling for well over a month but was rolling literally everywhere before that for a few months so it feels like he's been on the move forever! He started rolling from back to front at 16 weeks. SOOOOOOOOOOOO wasn't ready for him to be doing that as dd didn't move for MONTHS!

CD, would love to meet up again. Sure you want to try finding me

What's all this talk of organised mummies meal planning I try every now and then but end up back at 4pm sifting throught the dregs in the freezer to get diner ready. Maybe one day

I have loads of threads saved on here for one pot recipies and the like. Just need to print them off

FINALLY dd has had a decent sleep. She slept 12 hours tues night, then sil got her to sleep 1-2 hours yesterday during the day. Not sure how she does that as she plain refuses to sleep at our house And last night she slept for 12 hours again as is in a good mood. So far Mind you she did wake a couple of times last night to tell me she couldn't see well no, she had her eyes shut think it's all to do with having the drops for her eyes

geordiemacminxpie · 03/01/2008 08:24

oooggs, you are right, after a m/c it will take a whle fo your hormone levels to drop, cant remrmber how long ater mine I tested, it was negative though, but was probably a good few weeks.

Honestly, it sounds like you had a m/c, although i've only hadv one so am by nomeans an expert. I had a LOT of pain with mine, the worst cramps I have ever had. Havinbg said that some people do bleed, nd continue healthy pregnancies. I guess the best thing to do is to speak to the nurse later, she will be in a much better position to advise?

oooggs · 03/01/2008 08:26

gmm I think you are right, pain to me is normal as suffer with endo. But I am loosing clots, jelly clumps and fresh blood with pain - no chance and I have accepted that (and returned the maternity clothes I bought in the Next sale)

geordiemacminxpie · 03/01/2008 08:29

Would still speak to the nurse though?

Lucewits · 03/01/2008 08:33

oooggs hope that you can speak to the nurse today

Morning GMM

AngeG · 03/01/2008 08:48

Oh Oooggs, hope you can speak to the nurse today, but yes I believe as gmm says it does take a while for a test to become negative.

What did the nurse say about DD ear?

Eddas - Yeah to a good nights sleep!! Lol at not being able to see, with her eyes closed

Morning GMM and Luce

Well I'm sat downstairs, J has only just woken up after coming into our bed at 3am and Izzy is still asleep , so I'm enjoying a bit of peace and quiet. Just typical that the day they lie in I have to be up to wait for the windscreen person to come between 8 and 10am no doubt they'll turn up at 10

StealthPolarBear · 03/01/2008 08:49

oh oooggs not more stress Hope you can speak to the nurse today.

geordiemacminxpie · 03/01/2008 08:51

Morning Ange and Luce.

Luce, when do the girls go back to borstal school? Fancy meeting up?

elkiedee · 03/01/2008 08:54

Oooggs, sorry to hear you're still going through so much physically/emotionally.

Envy re those who are organised enough to do meal planning, I do have an old edition of an Annabel Karmel meal planner book based on weaning from 4 months but am too intimiidated to start actually doing such a thing. At my mum's we gave him whatever was on offer at lunchtime and a mix of snacky things and commercial babyfood (have been using Ella's Kitchen and Plum Baby brands) at tea time (breakfast is cereal and yoghurt/fromage frais and/or fruit).

Lucewits · 03/01/2008 08:58

GMM, the dds go back on monday (providing that N has stopped puking by then ) and B goes back on tues
Would love a chat and catch up.

Maveta - Yeah to BumGenius - love them

S not crawling here either. Just lies on his front and flaps like a pigeon.

Have just opened my curtains to see my first scottish snow

StealthPolarBear · 03/01/2008 08:59

Snow here as well, quite thick
