Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Reverssy, I think you are right, i think they do start trying to say things at this age. Hasan says 'Hiya' and does alot of mimicking sounds and communicating with everyone loads with facial expressions and various funny noises.

I will put some piccys of my work up on fb in the near future (so you can all slag it.)

I didn't realise you had started meeting your Dad, that is so great, you've come so far with that. (well done!)

Rosylily · 06/01/2008 10:58

Foxy, I think holding on to too much stuff is directly related to holding on to too much weight aswell. allowing space into my home and my eating is the key i think! Scuttles off to make up a 'get rid of bag'

ReverseThePolarity · 06/01/2008 11:10

Foxy lol @ smelly feet. Makes me think of Hobbits!!

Rosy maybe I need to declutter too.

Oh and as for my Dad, have a look at my thread in breastfeeding for a lovely positive comment he made!!

LunarSea · 06/01/2008 14:15

Mossy - it's quite possible that Bertie is making attempts to talk - even if it's only understandable to you and not to people who don't spend a lot of time with him. Toby says (in context) Mama, Dada, Ovver (big brother Oliver) and baba (baby). He's quite funny when we're out because he gets really excited every time he sees another baby - he points and says "baba" to it.

fitfox · 06/01/2008 15:41

OMG everyones baby is talking apart from mine LOL - seriously, they are trying to talk aren't they and starting to make some really cute little noises

bethoo · 06/01/2008 16:23

Fitfox - Hayden just says mama and dada and that is it so do not worry

kittywise · 06/01/2008 16:41

Foxy, Ronnie's only just started babbling. I know he's younger than all except Bertie but we have only JUST started getting ba ba ba and da da da. I reckon he's a retard .

evenhope · 06/01/2008 16:42

Mine doesn't talk Just points

bethoo · 06/01/2008 16:42

Kitty - Hayden has learnt to point so i can now rule out autism!!

kittywise · 06/01/2008 16:54

No pointing here

kittywise · 06/01/2008 16:55

any thoughts on this?

bethoo · 06/01/2008 16:57

Kitty - Hayden only started doing it about three days ago and i think he is one of the oldest on this thread being born on Feb. just start pointing and he will copy. can he clap nd wave as that happened first. did not mean to freak anyone out but i am just a paranoid mum.

Divastrop · 06/01/2008 17:11

kitty-pmsl@retard

kittywise · 06/01/2008 17:33

diva, your kids are so funny pmsl @shit, what a girl!! I guess your dh is young so he might think life is simple, black and white etc? Or is he just a typical bloke?
I am having the same probs as you with FB, I get "you have new message' emails and when i click on it nothing comes up. Anyway i can just about keep up here, Fb would be too much.

If you stand Ronnie on his own he can balance for a few seconds, not a retard in the physical sense

fitfox · 06/01/2008 18:07

Rosy - I see there may be a link between clutter and weight.

Top tip for decluttering: get 10 black bin liners and through 95% of everything into them.

..end of advice

Diva - I said to Monti today: "Mini Beast, your bum absolitely STINKS!!"

He replied, in a resigned manner, "I know"

Heard DS1 telling him, "Monti, you'll get a right bollocking you know"

he does a manic two hand wave but no pointing yet

MerryPIFFLEmas · 06/01/2008 18:47

Anyone remember one of my first posts on this thread
About having done the deed minus protection 2 days after af finished.
Fuckity fuck fuck fuck
am now a week late...

evenhope · 06/01/2008 18:52

Piffle!!!!!

Have you tested?!

MerryPIFFLEmas · 06/01/2008 18:56

Nope only realyl figured the dates out today when dp said my PMT had been going on for yonks
We just calculated and then promptly shat ourselves before both reaching for wine
Mature
Will see what tomorrow brings, no doubt AF will turn up now to relieve me of sheer panic

muppetisacat · 06/01/2008 19:05

Am SOOOO tired...

dd's bday today... she had a sleepover... 5 10 year old girls who didn't get to sleep until 3 yes that's 3 in the morning...

Yawn...

off to bed now...

... speak to you all tomorrow

TheBlonde · 06/01/2008 19:09

Oooh Piffle....
I remember you asking about that

fitfox · 06/01/2008 19:15

Oooh Piff!!!!

So its watch this space huh??

Good luck and hope you get the PG tests result you want

Muppet - go and get some sleep luvvy - are they back to school tomorrow?

muppetisacat · 06/01/2008 19:19

so tired - didn't read last posts properly - but bloody hell piff... i know that all 3 of mine were conceived in the following 3 to 4 days after af finished so it's certainly possible - but also don't forget you're still breastfeeding so your hormones are prolly battling each other with what to do...

really am off to bed now - mine went back on thursday foxy so we;re well into the swing of school again

MerryPIFFLEmas · 06/01/2008 19:57

Gee thanks Muppet

kiwibella · 06/01/2008 20:03

if that's true Muppet... I'll be pouncing on my dh tonight . That must be why all this calculating isn't getting the result I want .

I bet the girlies had loads of fun staying up so late. 3am really is an achievement... sleep well tonight.

Piffle, I remember you talking about whether your body being able to handle another pg. I too hope that you get the result that is best for your family. Certainly will watch this space .

How was the meeting with the potential border foxy?

Glad you are having such a lovely time meeting with your Dad Mossy.

Diva... your dh needs to understand your logic!! He can give up smoking by not smoking anymore. Your kids are amusing ... they things kids say.

Kate says 'ta' and 'boo' (although it's baa). She is right in to blowing kisses to anyone and anything atm. It is hilarious. We spent the afternoon with another family who have a dd a couple of days older than Kate and the difference in the girls is amazing.

School in the morning (thank goodness). One more week with dh at home... one more week with his big dd visiting from NZ. Feels odd that my workmates will be getting that "here we go again" feeling right about now and I won't be returning to work with them. Great though .

kiwibella · 06/01/2008 20:03

foxy... at you giving the baby a bollocking!!
