Hi SOL, glad K got on ok at nursery. Its always tough the first few times isnt it!

Hi MJ, it was tough tbh, as K is such a sweet natured little girl, and I find myself thinking "I don't want anyone else to have you"! I know it will do us both good, plus, I need to go back to work financially and mentally.

I have just phoned up about another job - it looks fabulous, and is in my home town which is an added bonus. Felt quite odd tho, as I love my current job, but just intrigued - nosy cow that I am!

Nothing wrong with looking for something new. I have an interview for a new job on Dec 14th (although I am yet to get the official letter confirming it ), dont know whether it is what I really want, but will never know unless I go for it!

SOL - glad K was all OK at nursery. When do you start back at work?

Dippy!!! - We obviously need to be the first to know (after you of course). I guess I'm a little bit , but my bf and my SIL are both pregnant, so I will have 2 new babies to coo after in the spring and early summer. I have loaned them all my maternity clothes now anyway, so I'd have nothing to wear!

Popped into my work this morning. It was really lovely to see everyone, and I'm now feeling much more positive about going back. My boss is truly lovely!

IDOC, I go back on Monday . Dh will be working a 4 day week, so will have the joy that is the school run on a Monday (and looking after K). K will be in nursery on a Tuesday and a Thursday.

Thinking of all you ladies going back to work, it only seems like yesterday that you were all counting down to maternity leave.

Ooooh, what are these "other" jobs, SOL *MJ!!? You'll be fine once you get into the swing of things - like I said to Eddas earlier, it just takes a while to get used to stuff changing. I am feeling pretty all over the place about this job myself - childcare is going to be a logistical nightmare. Can't get my head round it until they actually tell me whether I've got the job or not. Eeeeeek!
