I don't know when I posted on here last, but I was bloody ill at the beginning of the week with a stomach bug. My friend had to take my kids to school and DH had to finish early as I was randomly throwing up. That was Monday, it was my birthday Tuesday and I was still feeling rough. DH took me out for lunch and him and DD tucked in whilst I sat there with a weak cup of tea (all I could hold down) and even today I am still a bit iffy and not eating properly.

That said, I did have a lovely birthday. DH usually has every intention of giving me nice gifts but life is such something always comes up and he is not a planner. But I got cards on the morning and he took me out to buy clothes and for lunch. One of my old-time friends from college came to stay and we had a good chinwag. My Dad came up for the day with my birthday present as a surprise, and he gave me a Nintendo DS! I did really well

The rest of the week has been like playing catch up, hectic with the kids etc etc. And Leo is such a funny man, he cracks up all the time and grins like a cheshire cat all day, love him!

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 30/11/2007 21:11

oh WCL nice to see you again Sorry you've been ill, belated Happy Birthday to you (mine was on sat!)

oooggs · 30/11/2007 21:13

wcl - hope things are better soon and happy belated birthday

NorthernLurker · 30/11/2007 21:17

Happy Birthdays to WCL and Eddas - I was here on Sat but think I forgot to say Happy Birthday cos when I saw your post Eddas I had a massive guilty pang [blush}

Oooggs - what a grim night! Do hope tonight is better. B is whimpering rather at present - she was asleep for about 30 mins, then yelled, then went quiet, I went up to tuck her in etc and the mobile went off (hers not mine!) So she started again. Have to say - at this time of night it's 'sort yourself out' routine.

ooooh quiet now.

Awful weather here too oooggs

cazboldy · 30/11/2007 21:20

fish and chips were yum!

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 30/11/2007 21:20

Sexonlegs · 30/11/2007 21:26

NorthernLurker · 30/11/2007 22:21

IsawBUMPERkissingsantaclaus · 30/11/2007 22:26

hello from june PN! did you get any shit stick about your thread title?

NorthernLurker · 30/11/2007 22:29

Hello - I don't believe we have as yet - it's simply a perfctly accurate description of a bonafide gift giving experience

weeonion · 30/11/2007 22:42

hi bumper - i think someone did come on and comment that we had willy in the title but no real fuss as yet!!

NorthernLurker · 30/11/2007 22:45

nearly 300 messages in - they'll have to make a fuss quick

IsawBUMPERkissingsantaclaus · 30/11/2007 22:48

Well, you know how it is with us PN/antenatal hormones

NorthernLurker · 30/11/2007 22:51

no hormones round here - we're all perfectly balanced - honest Now where did I leave my chocolate?

busywithIzzy · 30/11/2007 23:03

Hello all

Just got back from a meal out with friends. Had a really good time. Put Izzy down at 6:45pm and she's still asleep. I don't normally put her down til nearer 8.30/9pm. Do I leave her and see how long she feeds or shall I dream feed??

WCL - Sorry you've been ill. Belated Happy Birthday.xx

Can't remember anything else. Hope everyone ok!

busywithIzzy · 30/11/2007 23:04

I meant sleeps not feeds

busywithIzzy · 30/11/2007 23:04

PMSL at PN/AN hormones

Ange is talking to herself

NorthernLurker · 30/11/2007 23:04

I keep thinking I should dreamfeed B - then lose my nerve and leave her - she wakes anyway. So I don't know what you should do - sorry

busywithIzzy · 30/11/2007 23:07

Hello NL Thought everyone had gone to bed!

Izzy is grumbling now (not awake) so I think I will go and feed her!

How are things with you?

NorthernLurker · 30/11/2007 23:08

oh pretty good reall. Dh has some irons in the fire job wise and the house we want is back on the market! It's really nice to have him around and much less stressed. Everyone's prayers are working

busywithIzzy · 30/11/2007 23:10

Great

Glad you're feeling more postive. I'm so pleased the prayers are working!

Not stopping them yet though!!
