Quick post in case L wakes up before I catch up

Thank you SO MUCH Secret Santa for my gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous, necklace and earrings! I love them, they are already packed for Aus. They're so pretty and exactly what I would buy for myself - thank you!

Speaking of packing, that's the one thing left to do on my many lists... I hate packing and end of doing dh's as well as mine since his idea of packing is scrunching things into a ball and then trying to stuff them into his case... men!

Right, off to catch up...

bumble75 · 30/11/2007 14:24

Ok, have caught up on this thread and L is still asleep - miracle of miracles.

Poo bum to the post CD, I will have to find an internet connection as soon as we land in Aus to find out the news - hope you get the result you're after. I am slightly . I would love another one next year, we shall see.

SPB - hope the move goes well for you

Pinions, glad the christening went well and hope you get work sorted out.

Liath, hope all the vomiting has ceased and thank you again for organising Secret Santa

Luce - school assembly sounds great!

In case I'm not back on until we get back in Jan, I hope everyone has an amazing, safe, happy and healthy Christmas and New Year .

Now I have to go and pack or we're going nowhere fast...!

x

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 30/11/2007 16:47

oh CD, naughty postman let's hope he/she gets it right tomorrow and brings the parcel

I know you won't see this KATY but hope you are moving and it all goes/is going well

Off to feed the smallest member of the eddas' house

NorthernLurker · 30/11/2007 17:04

Grrrrrrrrrh to the post CD. Going by your symptoms it sounds like there's a good possibility that you are though. Here's hoping test arrives tomorrow!
Good day here - dh came to baby & toddlers - he had a couple of things to do at church, then another dad turned up, who we know from church, then dh got chatting to the one and only other father there. Upshot was he stayed for the whole time and we then went into town for lunch with dad-we-know-from-church and offspring. Had a lovely time - after which there was no point going home so we did a bit of shopping - clothes for the girls, and got B's present - will put a link at the bottom if I can find one. Then off to school for dd1, dd2 out at playdate. So all in all a really lovely relaxing day. Then got home to another piece of good news - for us at any rate - the house we liked is back on the market!!!! Apparently the other buyers changed their minds - the vendors must be gutted - I know this is good for us - but they must be so upset. Anyway - we need to sell ours - our buyers are still looking for a buyer - and of course dh's job needs to get sorted - but still maybe it's going to work out
Feel very actually. Hope you all have lovely evenings and a good nights sleep!

b's present

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 30/11/2007 17:07

That's lovely NL

DS has a load of plastic

cazboldy · 30/11/2007 17:11

love b's pressie nl
hope you have a really good time bumble!

NorthernLurker · 30/11/2007 17:18

It is cute isn't it I can't wait to play with it give it to her

Sexonlegs · 30/11/2007 17:51

Hi all

NL, sounds like you have had a lovely day. Loving the pressie!

SPB, really hope the house move is going ok.

How is everyone else?

All ok here. Dh home early today which has been great.

Plan on a DVD and a curry tonight methinks.

cazboldy · 30/11/2007 18:02

my dad is bringing us fish and chips
my mum is going out and he is coming over so we can order her a pressie on-line, so it gets delivered here as she is soooo nosey.
Also they foster and the kiddies will never keep anything quiet!

NorthernLurker · 30/11/2007 18:03

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Fish and Chips!

We're having cannelloni - which is nice - but I want chips now!

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 30/11/2007 18:38

aw cute!! DS has just crawled and got his own dummy he's growing up fast >

not enough reason for another though Although I do like being pg but I shudder at the thought of being responsible for any more people and actually keeping the few marbles I still have

NorthernLurker · 30/11/2007 18:44

How many do you have now Eddas? (Children not marbles)

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 30/11/2007 18:50

Just the 2, but tis enough for me. As for marbles, i'd say 3 or 4 still lurking

NorthernLurker · 30/11/2007 18:53

2 was enough for me for a few years - then I started thinking 'one more' - am sending dh to the docs asap so I can't start thinking ' one more' in a few more years - I really don't think either my body or our bank balance can take it - marbles went long ago!

Sexonlegs · 30/11/2007 19:15

Yum, fish and chips does sound good!

Eddas, go on you know you want to !!!

I am definitely stopping at 2. Dh would like more but I have told him he will need to find another bird! I don't mind being pregnant, and tbh K has been pretty easy so far, but the baby shop is well and truly shut!
