HellHathNoFury · 27/11/2007 16:18

(Erm nintendo DS that is, not her son)

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 27/11/2007 16:26

perhaps a link to that thread that we contributed to before might halp concentrate the mind!!

Right off to wake up DD! I've had to give strict instructions to the nursery that they need to wake her up at every nap...what is it with my baby - everyone elses doesn't sleep and I can't keep mine awake

DaisyNightingale · 27/11/2007 16:27

LOL at buying a son for £100

Sputnik · 27/11/2007 16:30

omg she's selling children now. Something should be done.

Sputnik · 27/11/2007 16:35

Yeah, I'd want at least 200 for mine....

DaisyNightingale · 27/11/2007 16:36

I'd happily give mine away....free for postage

DaisyNightingale · 27/11/2007 16:37

that's DS obv....DD can stay for a bit longer, although she is already showing signs of being a bolshy little madam!

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 27/11/2007 16:38

I'd offer my DD and DS on "buy one get one free"

justbeme · 27/11/2007 16:53

back again!
had 3 work friends round for lunch - all that talk of work though & scary!!

now can someone make me feel better about these reusables - not sure i like finding peas and the odd bit of carrot in the rubber of my washing machine door! im sure when theys got solid poos it'll be ok as "it" can be thrown down the loo, but in the meantime...

HellHathNoFury · 27/11/2007 16:53

you know for the first time ever I think I will stick up for my DS! He is being good today. Ask me again tomorrow and he might already be on Ebay.
MIL, FIL def available though. As are all current work colleagues. They are free. In fact for the work colleagues I will pay YOU.

HellHathNoFury · 27/11/2007 16:55

JBM. I don't have this problem.
So far everything is digested and comes out..like... well... poo. No whole veg in sight.

Sometimes you get a nugget, those are good days though

HellHathNoFury · 27/11/2007 16:56

I have a laptop and a car for sale on ebay. The laptop is going for more than the car, lol

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 27/11/2007 17:02

For anyone with a grumbly back, I would recommend pilates exercises. I must restart doing it myself. I used to do it a few times a week and found it did wonders for my back. Just 20 mins at a time, I used to do it 1st thing in the morning when I was still half asleep, it was so gentle that I could still be half asleep at the end and not feel like I'd exercised at all but it worked wonders still. Not sure when I'll get a chance to do it now though.

DaisyNightingale · 27/11/2007 17:10

jbm, are you ussing paper liners? Now DDs poo is a bit more solid, I've been using flushable liners, and just flush it all away. The nappies are barely even stained underneath the liner as well, so they look much nicer too.

You could always scrape the excess into the loo before washing?

justbeme · 27/11/2007 17:27

do you still use fleece liners as well - cos the paper would surely hold the wet against their skin?
and scrape with what exactly? [pukey emotion!]

DaisyNightingale · 27/11/2007 17:37

I stopped using the fleece because of her rash, but once it's cleared up will use them again. her poo is pretty solid now though that if you stretch the fleece it will fall off.

What you really need is one of these!

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 27/11/2007 17:54

Oooo what a pleasant conversation at tea time [puke emoticon]

andiemisletoe · 27/11/2007 18:00

you lot are gross we are still in the land of up the back liquid jobbies but that will soon change I am sure

hello fury how are you?

Daisy sorry your back is bad

Fairy lovely to meet up today and you will come to buggy fit [cyber bullying emotcion]

annobalthebignosereindeer · 27/11/2007 18:27

Hi Fury, you've been missed

I just walked downstairs. DS3 in bed half an hour ago, ds1&2 just gone to sleep, dh not home yet and dinner on the stove. Welcome to stepford [lunatic smile emoticon]

Seriously though, I feel good [james brown emoticon]

DaisyNightingale · 27/11/2007 18:50

bloody hell annobal, I'm impressed.

DS is watching the news and DD is being ignored on her mat. They are both in the oither room, but the noises are encouraging........

.....kind of the opposite of Stepford really

DS has just had some nasty chocolate pudding thing, so no doubt there will be a fight to get him into bed. I have a new tactic up my sleeve though, so bring it on!!

justbeme · 27/11/2007 18:51

I like all the [emotions] tonight!!

Daisy - my shower stretches to the loo - I tried it once - not very pleasant - imagine that the shower spray splurts back at you!!
(ohh sorry some of you might not have eaten yet!!)

Im off to put Lucy to bed (late!)

DaisyNightingale · 27/11/2007 18:54

based on the fact that baby annobal and baby jbm are either in bed or just going....what time are the LOs settling these days?

Babyboo is usually around 7:30, but will sometimes zonk out around 6:30. Maybe I should be trying to get her settled earlier

On that note....DSs bedtime. Back later.

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 27/11/2007 18:56

well i'm now about to take baby jammy to bed, but she has been asleep on my lap for an hour. It's pretty typical for her to fall asleep beyween 5.45 and 6.30.

HellHathNoFury · 27/11/2007 19:04

FAARRRKKKKKK

I have been invited out to a posh dinner and I am crapping myself

HellHathNoFury · 27/11/2007 19:05

Blimey DS goes down at about 9pm!
