when i first played with ds he got it really quickly, after the first few games i asked if he was looking, he said "no but i have very sneaky eyes" !!
I would just say "can you take your shoes off please" and stand there while they did.

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/11/2007 17:00

Do you want to play CS? Are you on facebook?

Phoenix · 12/11/2007 17:01

Really csws? So i'm guessing they try to make you buy more?

ChasingSquirrels · 12/11/2007 17:02

not on facebook.
photoshoot - they give you a free shoot and small photo then charge masses for extras. go for it if you are sure you wont be tempted to splash out on extras.

Phoenix · 12/11/2007 17:03

You know i'm thick and you've challenged me to a more complicated game

Phoenix · 12/11/2007 17:09

Ha i've done it. Probably not as quick as you though.

I can't afford to get extras but i will want to.

Flame · 12/11/2007 17:10

I know Venture do that, not heard it with Olan Mills though

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/11/2007 17:21

It's a draw Phoenix! Would have beaten you if I'd plumped for the right one out of pink and orange for the final place!

Should stop playing and wake dd up really (zonked on my lap after trip to zoo), else I won't get her to bed before my groceries get delivered!

Jas · 12/11/2007 17:54

I stayed away all day, andcame back to a finished house as far as the wiring goes. Plus noticable action on the shed. (Does a shed really need 2" thick insulationg I wonder?)

I want to see pics of the finger(s) too

Still winning at mastermind (unless you count the draw against csws that blots my record, but I'm ignoring it)

Flame · 12/11/2007 18:06

Arse - not concentrating properly and made stupid mistakes

(I get far too cross with myself )

OP posts:
Chloe55 · 12/11/2007 18:21

yes, we were sucked in by Venture - have a gorgeous picture but also £300 worse off!

What controversial thread are you all going on about?

Flame · 12/11/2007 18:47

JOFan wants guests to take their shoes off in her house.

MN has decided she is being pretentious

OP posts:
Phoenix · 12/11/2007 18:51

We almost got sucked into venture but found threads about it on here. We had pixie photo's done in Mothercare instead and ended up buying them all cos we couldn't choose. We ended up with 9 different size pics costing £190. God know's what we'd have paid for the same at venture

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/11/2007 18:55

Yay for house Jas.

Am impressed with myself in your game flame!

Flame · 12/11/2007 19:20

That game was hell for some reason! Everything I tried my brain just didn't process. I have lost all skill

OP posts:
JoFan · 12/11/2007 19:31

evening

i wouldn't call it contraversial (the shoo thread) but it was quite funny! i do genuinely find everyone's opinion interesting, can'tsleep, but hardly anyone answered the original Q and went off at all sorts of irritated angles. hee hee

would really like to see the manky fingers now, am intrigued in a very rubbernecky kind of way

the olan mills thing is usually a free sitting and one free print, but of course you'll probably end up buying loads more, especially at this time of year

mustrunmore · 12/11/2007 19:44

hello. I hate being on the PTA

Jas · 12/11/2007 20:23

Why mrm?

Flame · 12/11/2007 20:26

Cos she's a stroppy cow

Bunk beds ordered

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 12/11/2007 20:37

Oi! Cheeky mare.
Er, because its so cliquey, and because they all seem to think money is no object (they want to put the price of a ticket for a parents event like the 70's night up to 315 per person ), and because I dont have time to waste on crap like who wants to keep the chips in their freezer before the xmas fayre, and because nobody bothered to introduce them sulves to me. Shall I go on?

Ds2 had no nap today
And ds1 has been a complete git at his friends house after nursery.
And Dl said he might not be hree much longer because he ewants to pick up more girls but doesnt want to bring them back here and intrude on our familr life blah blah blah.

I'm going to abandon my family and live with Flame

mustrunmore · 12/11/2007 20:38

£15 not 315 obviuosly!!

Flame · 12/11/2007 20:38

Jas · 12/11/2007 20:44

I'd leave, but then I know better than to join in the first place.

DS is still screaming (again) He is moving his cot around the room, and pullingstuff off shelves/generally trashing the place.

JoFan · 12/11/2007 20:57

when you join the PTA don't you have to 'volunteer' to staff events like jumble sales, fetes etc

is it compulsory to talk about frozen chips?

Chloe55 · 12/11/2007 21:01

Sounds like fun MRM - tell me, why did you sign up in the first place?

Found the shoe thread, was quite actually. Is that what all your Crocs are for CSWS
