gmm - grim with the redundancies - i think i picked a good year to have m/l - morale very very low all over the shop

tcmummy · 06/11/2007 20:16

wo at evil woman headline! Although I always suspected you have a dark side...

runnyhabbit · 06/11/2007 20:32

Evening all

To reassure those with with boys - J is fab! He is 2 and half and we've never had to use child locks on anthing. He does pull the Sky card out, put then loves to show me how clever he is by putting back in Have only caught him once writing on his bedroom furniture, because he wanted to show me what he had drawn (was my fault cos I let him bring his pencils upstairs) Yes, he can throw a tantrum as good as anyone, and is a proper little boy (ie loves climbing and shouting as loud as he can )but can say hand on heart if we tell him not to do something, he won't.

Umm...thats it I think...brain mush

Eddas · 06/11/2007 20:52

Thanks RH!

I AM BORED

Loads to do but a bit tired and generally can't be arsed.

Sexonlegs · 06/11/2007 20:54

Eddas, pmsl at girls are angels! B is most definitely not! Actually that is not fair - she is a great kid - just has way too much energy for me, and can talk the hind leg of a shed-load of donkeys!

tcmummy, lol at my input to the poo talk! I am speechless!!

Maveta, impressive toilet training! Not a bad idea.

GMM, we had to write off a bodysuit at the weekend thanks to poo explosion. In fact, dh got the scissors and cut it off rather than drag it over her head!

Big hello to everyone.

Well, I am off on a 4 day cruise next May courtesy of my lovely parents. I am going to go with my mum, and I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

geordiemacminx · 06/11/2007 20:58

Cruise sounds lovely SOL - where abouts?

We are looking to go away next year - sometime between Feb and May although cant really seem to find the right place? Would like somewhere warm but not too hot not to far away and nice.... doesnt sound too much to ask does it?

Eddas · 06/11/2007 20:59

SOL, sounds lovely

gmm, apparently as women we always ask too much

Sexonlegs · 06/11/2007 21:04

Yeah, I have ever been before. I think it goes to Amsterdam, and Guernsey, but I cannot remember anywhere else!

We went to Ibiza last May, and it was fab. The weather was about 23-25 degrees, and because it was not during the school holidays, it was really quiet. We were 5 minutes from the beach, which was just stunning.

In fact, we may go back next year.

geordiemacminx · 06/11/2007 21:05

I was thinking about Ibiza, I have been twice, once as a child and once 18-30, there are some lovely places, es cana, santa eulia portnax... even Ibiza town is nice!

We have friends who live in Jersey - they love it!

Sexonlegs · 06/11/2007 21:10

GMM, we stayed in Cala Vadella, and it really was stunning. We stayed in a place called Club Aquarium - a smallish group of apartments with an outside pool, childrens play area, shop and restaurant. We had a 2 bedroomed appt. and it was so spacious and really good value.

liath · 06/11/2007 21:15

How lovley of your parents, SOL!

We're going to centre parcs in Jan. It had to happen sooner or later I suppose !

Poor DH rang to talk about how today's exam went - he said it was the worst hour and a half of his life. I really really hope he passes, it's been grim with him revising all the time & all grumpy, I don't fancy him having to resit at all .

PillockOfTheCommunity · 06/11/2007 21:54

just posting so Pesha can see my profile!

CaptainDippy · 06/11/2007 22:04

Dippy - what on earth does your mum do - don't tell me - just whether it would shock/astound/horrify/dismay/discombobulate me - and I will put my mighty guess power to work

PillockOfTheCommunity · 06/11/2007 22:18
