hello

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
oooggs · 06/11/2007 19:48

and now I have scared you all off

Eddas · 06/11/2007 19:49

i'm here a lot less scary than the boys talk

NorthernLurker · 06/11/2007 19:50

oh gosh oooggs that is top of my list of things i couldn't do - don't like water or small spaces! That your dh can provokes admiration from me not offence - now if it had been channel 5 - well......
GMM - lol at Jade and Kerry - scary thing is - someone's got to do it!

geordiemacminx · 06/11/2007 19:50

Cant see the problem myself - my uncle does all the programming for nuclear power stations.

It made me laugh about those protesters gluing themselves to the road up at Faslane - I would have left them there!!

Dp and I both work in radio communications - building nasty phone masts that give you cancer. There was a thread on here yesterday asking if you would buy a house near one - some of the shit people were spouting was unbelieble - like Caz's thread - misinformed people opening their mouths and letting the wind flap their tongues!1!

Sexonlegs · 06/11/2007 19:51

Poor Eddas is having a meltdown!!

Caz, my dad used to work with the milk marketing board and spent lots of time with dairy farmers. He said they were the nicest bunch of people he ever had the pleasure to meet. Totally devoted to the job and to the herds.

How is everyone?

NorthernLurker · 06/11/2007 19:51

I see you CSA and raise you the NHS, in management as well - yes that's right I do eat nurses for breakfast

oooggs · 06/11/2007 19:52

he works on them in dry dock and only goes out on them when they are finished being refit to do some testing about every 3 years. Normally around my due date not that a due date will be happening again

oooggs · 06/11/2007 19:54

I now work for a nice part of the civil service

I agree gmm - I don't have a problem with nuclear (I can't, it pays our mortgage ) and it is part of our future, but many people get up in arms about it.

NorthernLurker · 06/11/2007 19:55

well it may be dry - but its still small - eek! Now with the due date are you sure you're sure about that I hear 4 is the new 2.

Eddas · 06/11/2007 19:58

i am sol not used to boys, of course all girls are absolute angels

Does anyone else have trouble with the refresh button not actually refreshing? Bloody annoying!

Maveta · 06/11/2007 19:59

lol at
´a journalist?´
´a traffic warden?´
followed by
´no nothing too bad´
hahahaha

I think there is always some people somwhere who will find offence in any job. I work in fashion (albeit the downmarket end ) which is the most superficial, pointless field in existence fueling millions of eating disorders and image problems world wide as we speak and when I lived in Aus. I worked for the debt recovery agency now that was bad..

oooggs · 06/11/2007 19:59

no chance NL 3 is enough. It is a small confined space (so I am told, never been on one) and he is 6'4"

tcmummy · 06/11/2007 20:02

Maveta - at poo in the loo! Did I miss something?? Are you trying the early toilet training thing???

tcmummy · 06/11/2007 20:03

You would have to sedate me to get me in a submarine >

NorthernLurker · 06/11/2007 20:03

actually I agree oooggs - 3 is enough for me too. at your dh's height - onw would think he must duck a lot!

geordiemacminx · 06/11/2007 20:04

NL -my mum used to work for the PCT.

We are grand up here, dp watching the match, C tucked up in bed so I'm just having my MN fix. Nothing much exciting occuring to be honest - I think its that time of year though isnt it?

Oh C was sat up playing with his toys this morning and had done a poo - obviously th sitting postion meant there was nowhere for the poo to go - other than up.. his back..... out the top of his nappy, down his sides, all over his baby grow - needless to say it went straight in the bin!!

NorthernLurker · 06/11/2007 20:08

am waiting for dd1 to be bought home from her club at church before I sit down with B - who is a bit vexed at this and keeps lunging at my cleabage hopefully - i think she thinks i've forgotten - oh now she's doing big sad resigned sighs. sweeeeeeeeeeeet!

Maveta · 06/11/2007 20:08

lol eca - no way! no, just that N is normally really obvious when he´s about to have a poo so when I notice he´s going through the pre-poo motions I whip him through to the toilet and let him poo in there. Just occurred to me a while ago that if I know he´s going and I can do it, it seems silly to sit and wait for him to poo his pants and then clean up the almighty mess instead of him going in the toilet and then me just giving his wee bum a quick wipe after.

weeonion · 06/11/2007 20:09

gmm - cant text you back re tomorrow (phone has frozen with no texting or getting numbers!) and vios but yep - the plan is to go there after swimming.

i once had a headline in an irish paper calling me one of the most evil women in ireland - all because i spoke to young people about sex and condoms. my mum still has the clipping somewhere!

liath · 06/11/2007 20:09

Ah, GMM - if only he'd been in cloth.......No leaks!

And I'm not saying what I do for a living either !

NorthernLurker · 06/11/2007 20:10

cleavage cleavage cleavage NOT cleabage!

GMM - i notice she 'used' to work for PCT

geordiemacminx · 06/11/2007 20:11

What are you like woman!! Does it need a bit of engineer H-type fixing?

No probs anyways - will plan around that.

geordiemacminx · 06/11/2007 20:12

NL - She went through 2 rounds of redundacies then binned it for good.

Liath

I think this one could have escaped a bin liner....

NorthernLurker · 06/11/2007 20:13

gmm - i hope you mean wo's phone and not my cleavage! dd1 home so off for milk

tcmummy · 06/11/2007 20:13

ooo, maveta! I'm going to have to give that a try when T does his best beet face Although i'm thinking I'll probably end up with poo everywhere if I don't make it in time! hahahhhaaa...

gmm - oh noooooo! poo everywhere! And I'm hating these solids-poos! They make me gag!

poo poo poop... come on SOL, surely you have something to add
