Surely no more sickness to be had?! (Or eah'll start spraying the thread with disinfectant!)

really eah?!!! Would it fit a maclaren stroller? It would need to clip onto vertical bars, there's no horizontal bar (as I discovered when I treked off to look at a buggy board advertised in the local paper last week!) A bit like this one (though not in that colour!!)

eandh · 20/11/2007 21:17

Right updated list with people who do normally post but sont have canmummy or mrsc (think you were someone else then)and probably missed some others let me know and we'll get it right for January/February bdays

And he is called Matthew and weighed 7lb14

eandh · 20/11/2007 21:21

yep its on my babiesrus stroller on the vertical bars (it was beyond me to fit but my dad worked it out) I bought it 2nd hand but ellie hated it. Will have to remove connectors off the buggy but can do that thursday when ellie at school. I have the instructions only thing missing is the velcro strap that you can use to fold it up when not in use but I used to unclip it and bung in shopping basket (theres wasnt anywhere to attach the velcro) will go and see if I can find picture for you

I think my mum has got him books for xmas, and MIL is getting a xylophone (?) that he can bang on. He likes banging things.
He also spends hours and hours playing with the lids of baby food jars. Just flipping them over onto the floor and listening to them spin round. Over and over and over and over again...I am hoping its not an OCD thing!

eandh · 20/11/2007 21:25

no think thats normal lizz as hattie finds empty platic bottles great fun

2happy this is teh version I have buggy biard probably be cheaper to send by courier and think thats £6 but will double check on thursday (am out tomorrow) so if you want to cover postage thats all I want

bunnyhunny · 20/11/2007 21:26

lol at the ocd lizz. S is just like that with bouncing. anything remotely musical and he bounces / dances. He reminds me of tyres from spaced if anyone watched that... He now has a new dance for when he sits down, which involves lifting 1 leg in the air .

EAH - well done on spelling his name right! He is Saul William, and was 6lb 1oz

eandh · 20/11/2007 21:27

oh and we never had friction tape (think it was to put on vertical bars) as connectors were fine straight into frame/bars but you could just use a bit of velcro if you needed

2Happy · 20/11/2007 21:28

Ooh that looks gooood! But surely you want something for it?! Fantastic, don't have to scour the local for sale pages any more (though it's amazing what's in there some weeks!)

Lizzzombie · 20/11/2007 21:29

Ha!!! Lol at lifting one leg in the air! DJ has just started 'dancing'. Lazy Town was on today, playing hi-energy dance music and he was bobbing around like a proper raver! I may have to get him some white gloves!

its up to you but I am glad that I dont have to arse about putting it on ebay/paper etc needed to get buggy back in (its in shed) as want to start using that one again and going to sell my lilac quinny 3 wheeler and m&p travel system

2Happy · 20/11/2007 21:31

Lol at the white gloves!

Wow, I am sure all you super cooks know this, but I have just discovered that if you suddenly discover you've run out of breadcrumbs when cooking (and don't want to use the food processor because the kdis are asleep) cous cous seems to work pretty well. More crunchy than breadcrumbs, but surprisingly good!

eandh · 20/11/2007 21:32

have a box it will fit so once weighed etc I'll book courier for friday or monday (mental note to book 2 parcels as need to send stuff to LAL as well)

THANKYOU

Just a small change as Freddie was born on the 8th. Don't know where 15th came from! He was due 12th, but came a few days early.

SO i'm knackered as usual so i won't write much now. Been REALLY busy at work and obviously looking after LO & DP and my mum when not working. (Why do I feel like the only grown-up in my family???)

Just wanted to say hope Pippa is alright RGee.

And the other LOs who have coughs and colds and other ailments.....

Dragonhart · 20/11/2007 21:55

Ruth was 6lbs3

I have already bought Ruth's birthday present. As a second child myself I am rather bitter about the whole second hand thing, so I am determined that we will not just pass everything on to her. Also I want some girly toys. I got her this house for her birthday. Luke has quite a lot of ELC little people already and various castles/ships (an acceptable verision of a doll house according to DH ) and Ruth loves them. Who needs space in their lounge to do things like sit and walk?!

Oh and yes, I was planned section. How weird it is that we are thinking about their bdays already! Where has that year gone?

Talking about OCDs, I think Luke has one. He has to sort his toys in lines, in increasing size. He sometimes spends ages lining his cars up with exactly the same distance between each one. I was really worried then we went to a froends house with a DS 2 months older than LUke and he was doing exactly the same!

Have added my name to the list! Can't beleive I never found you ante-natally

EandH my lo was born by elective section and my date was given to me when I was 6 weeks pg! Unfortunatley they changed it at last minute so after 8 months of thinking she was going to be born on the 22nd I still get confused that she was actually born a week earlier!!

Did I ever tell anyone that dd1 was born 18/01/01 so I've been a Jan mummy before? Will make birthdays interesting in future - picture last Jan, 5 days post-section taking newborn to playgym for a party with severe jaundice and unable to breastfeed so with ebm and syringe!!!!

((reminder to self - need to keep up with threads ))

Hello - been lurking for a while as haven't had time to write as work is sooo busy. My poor little Nathan has had diarrhea for 3 weeks now and has such bad nappy rash its been bleeding, poor thing has been sleeping really badly and I've had to dose him up with medised for weeks now. Took him to doctors who said it was a virus and that it would pass - think it may finally be showing signs of going at long last. DD1 now also has a hacking cough too so it seems they are never both healthy and sleeping at the same time! For the list Nathan was born on 26/1/07 so he's 10 months next week - eek its gone too fast this time.

I used to give blood but cos i got to South Africa on holiday every year they now won't let me any more which is a shame. Also runnign along the same theme, are many of you donors as so few people seem to be these days. I updated myself on the donor register recently and I keep nagging at my DH to go on it but for some reason he's reluctant.

I'm off to South Africa for 5 days tomorrow and leaving Nathan behind - just taking DD1 with me which will be great to have her all to myself but I will miss Nathan sooo much.

You girls talk so much its hard to keep up with you all!

theUrbanDryad · 21/11/2007 10:34

morning all - well i'm off to the doc's again this morning as Z's cough and snot is still bad. eeeek just looked at the time, i'd best be off!
