Hi everyone! I made a new thread as we were at the end of the last one. A new thread for the new year! I changed the title as we don’t have newborns anymore!

I bought a pop up ball pit on a whim over the weekend , nothing fancy but it’s been hours of entertainment . Best £8 I’ve ever spent 😂

@Picklesbaby oohh now I want one. Glad to see he’s looking so well now. And I love his outfit!

Just have to show off how cute my baby is for a second 😂😍

First photo- We were able to get out in the sunshine at the weekend and it was so lovely. Really excited for spring. Jia loves getting out of the house no matter the weather but I’ll be glad not to have to layer her up so much.

Second photo- Anyone else’s baby just obsessed with picking their own nose and then eating it? 😫

mrssunshinexxx · 02/03/2021 07:07

You have inspired me to buy one @Picklesbaby Grin

Busylizzie85 · 02/03/2021 07:28

@Picklesbaby we used a small paddling pool and some free balls I got hold of this is what the result was but she loved it!

Aww lovely pictures!! We have little ball pit (from Argos...not too pricey) and it's good fun!!

@mrssunshinexxx just wondered if your LO was still sleeping well after doing the just chill mama? Does your LO go from 7-7? Xx

Picklesbaby · 02/03/2021 08:51

Ours was also from Argos . I like it cause it can just fold away at night 😃.

@Busylizzie85 that’s a great idea !

mrssunshinexxx · 02/03/2021 09:15

I'm picking one up off fb sell page for £3!
@Magpie21 yea usually 7.45-7.20 ish

MrsMarrio · 03/03/2021 14:22

My little angel rocks back and forth violently when in his highchair.

We have officially entered 8 month sleep regression. He refused to go to sleep until 2.30am last night. He just screamed every time we put him back in bed. On top of the fact I’ve got septic tonsillitis and could do with some rest.

Send help for tonight 🤣

Busylizzie85 · 03/03/2021 17:39

Oh bless you @MrsMarrio I hope tonight it better!

Has any ones little ones with top and bottom teeth grind them? Ivys been doing it for a while on and off but last couple of days it's been a lot and the noise is horrid (she's probably just teething badly again) 😳 I've read it's normal and should grow out of it but just wondered if anyone's encountered it before with previous children?

Magpie21 · 03/03/2021 21:39

@MrsMarrio if it's any consolation we had a few nights like that, probably 5 and then it calmed down so hopefully it will be a quick phase for your LO! Good luck 🤗

@Busylizzie85 Not yet. We don't have top teeth in yet but I have read about this on forums before. How soon after bottom teeth did your LO's too teeth come through Btw?

Busylizzie85 · 03/03/2021 22:26

@Magpie21 I think the first two came through in October and then then top 4 came through at Christmas they took a while to come through completely but now I can see the next ones at the bottom starting 🙈

Magpie21 · 04/03/2021 07:07

@Busylizzie85 ah! I might have a little break then 🤞

mrssunshinexxx · 04/03/2021 07:33

@Busylizzie85 yes Nelly grinds hers but not loads it's horrible noise

UKtoSK · 05/03/2021 04:47

Any breastfeeding mums got their cycles back yet? I have had really strong ovulation cramps this week and I went to the doctors as I was due a cervical screening anyway and they confirmed I ovulated which means my period is coming back. I’m not ready! Also it’s quite sore nursing this week, I assume from the ovulation? Anyone else experience this? Feels like they’re bruised.

OP posts:
mrssunshinexxx · 05/03/2021 07:01

No I just got pregnant before my cycles returned so be careful 😉 @UKtoSK

Picklesbaby · 05/03/2021 07:38

@UKtoSK aw I assume it’s just the hormones &not yet but I’ve had horrible back ache and stomach cramps these past few days I keep thinking it is coming😶 I’m not ready either Ive gotten used to not having them !

Smiffette · 05/03/2021 09:05

@UKtoSK I got my periods back after 3 months ... I was really lucky pre pregnancy as I didn't ever get cramps, but now I can feel when I'm ovulating which is so strange! I wasn't sure what it was at first then realised!

MRSO5 · 05/03/2021 09:15

Congratulations on your BFP @mrssunshinexxx hope you're feeling well with it.

I'm on the mini pill. It's been a nice break not having AF but I'm going to stop it soon in the hope to get my body ready to ttc later in the year. Still BF so will just wait and see what happens x

mrssunshinexxx · 05/03/2021 11:36

Thank you @MRSO5 good luck with your journey for number 2 ! Xx

Magpie21 · 05/03/2021 21:21

@UKtoSK @Smiffette I definitely started to feel ovulation cramps when I got my cycle backs. Never experienced it before pregnancy...like you say it's a strange sensation! Saying that though so don't get period cramps anymore (well not so far). What's that about!

MrsMarrio · 05/03/2021 22:59

@UKtoSK yes I’m in agreement, I did used to know when I was ovulating before having Rowan, I would get slight cramps, but now the cramps are horrendous when I’m ovulating. It’s like the body and hormones urge you towards having another baby but I’m to knackered to even think about number 2 at the moment!

Smiffette · 06/03/2021 10:47

@MrsMarrio @Magpie21 yeah it would be great not to have the cramps but trying for no2 is not on the cards until the end of the year!

I am super excited to be pregnant again though! And not to go through a global pandemic!!

MrsMarrio · 06/03/2021 18:09

@Smiffette I agree, going through this during covid, it’s like we’re the forgotten women and babies. I feel robbed of all the little things, like a baby shower, my last day in work before mat leave or people coming to visit us in hospital. It’s very sad.

Yes dec/jan is when I would like to ttc again but DH will take some convincing. And although I have this idea of what age gap I want and what age I want to be, I might still get to the end of the year and be like nope! Not ready to be pregnant again!
