Hello,

Welcome EPPM

Dame - Hope the scan goes ok tomorrow

Lewis slept all night under his quilt last night

Dh is on nights and i'm bored. I really should think about an early night though i felt crap when i woke up this morning.

CountessPHOENIXula · 18/10/2007 21:28

Macca lmao at your yoga story. You must have been very ,

Frizombie · 18/10/2007 21:29

I find people interesting, have spent most of the day deciding which people who have come in the shop would be likely to nick things off me or not Had a good 1st day, lots of interest and excited blokes, claiming they're sending the Mrs in to buy their Xmas prezzies next week and I've sold our 1st item! a Dr Who magazine to someones gran lets hope we make more money than that tomorrow though!

MRM don't worry about ds, he's not of the age where they know about being told off yet, dd2 only says sorry, if I make it clear she needs too, by repeating it to her until she says it and looks suitably guilty and its more 'worry'.

Hi EEPM

mustrunmore · 18/10/2007 21:30

Jas, what csws meant was 'the things are lovely but the talking doll is f'ing scary'

Dh says he'd love xmas. Well, the conversation actually went 'which one's she again? Do I know her? Oh, is she the one with the tempur mattresses?Yeah, I'd be well up for it' I think it'd be a great change actually. Poss a bit odd as I'd actually have to be dressed on xmas day And we'd have to work out the logistics. He's working till 5ish xmas eve, back at work 7am Boxing Day, unless he can get his little monkey sidekick to do that day!

Frizombie · 18/10/2007 21:30

Macca at Yoga too

Hi Phoenix for sleepy boy

EPPM I've given you a brummie accent now my dh is from brum.

ChasingSquirrels · 18/10/2007 21:35

just popping by.
MRM - my ds2 doesn't speak either, lots of umm / ugggh using which, together with pointing, he manages to convey meaning, but not actual words.
And when ds1 was this age I was CONVINCED he was autistic, and my mum (when I talked to her) was pretty worried aswell. He is now 5, and definately isn't.
It depends how concerned you are, talk to your dh and see what he is saying. If you ARE worried, speak to your HV (if she is any good) or your doctor. It is difficult for people who don't know him well to comment, so go with your own judgement.

Frizombie · 18/10/2007 21:38

Hi CS
just before I'm off again for a bit, Dame good luck for tomorrow {{{{hugs}}}}

CantSleepWontSleep · 18/10/2007 21:40

Err, yes, all the dolls are scary! And we'd like a translation please of what the talking doll says!

7am on Boxing Day is a complete PITA - I think he should get the monkey to do it .
I guess you don't have to get dressed on Christmas day .

CantSleepWontSleep · 18/10/2007 21:41

And that's twice I've forgotten to say good luck for tomorrow dame .

FlameBat · 18/10/2007 21:54

Oii Friz - you thought about the whores n beer at all?

OP posts:
FlameBat · 18/10/2007 21:56

What you doin at christmas???

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 18/10/2007 22:13

mrm is comin' up to us.

Jas · 18/10/2007 22:15

Yes, What are you doing at Christmas????????

All the dolls? There were only two weren't there? Baby Born is the least scary, but note I included food.We have had the doll for at least yers and only tried it once. It didn't work, and I had to spend ages cleaning it out.

I'm not expecting you to keep the other one It says "I love you mummy" and three other phrases I've not identified.

They aren't mine to sell csws, but the dds would accept a small token gift for Christmas if you pushed it.

Hello CS

Jas · 18/10/2007 22:16

Too slow with my questioning. I see you've already answerred.

Frizombie · 18/10/2007 22:17

we're off to my mums xmas day, think they're here boxing day? nibbles from M&S I think? any excuse

Flame Booze yes, whores, we'll we're next door but one to the church, so they might complain! having hellboy in the window and the living dead dolls, might be bad enough I fear although I've just talked a male mate into being my saturday girl this weekend, he says he'll do his hair in bunches even though he has none?

UniSarah · 18/10/2007 22:26

Friz- did you check "which" hair he will be doing in bunches? And does he wear a kilt or a string vest, if not then your prob OK.

Jas · 18/10/2007 22:33
Grin
CountessPHOENIXula · 18/10/2007 22:40

I've just been up to check on Lewis and he had no covers on, had one sock off and had pulled the quilt out from where i'd tucked it down the side of his cot (1st night he's done that). So after my initial of him sleeping with a quilt i'm now thinking he'll be better off back in a grobag. Might do the big boy quilt when he goes to a big boy bed.

Frizombie · 18/10/2007 22:45

Stick with it Phoenix, he'll just need re adjusting every now and again

Uni, really! I expected someone to lower the tone, but not you

Off to bed here I think, now that I'm a working woman!

CountessPHOENIXula · 18/10/2007 22:49

Do you think Friz, i'm getting worried he's too cold but he isn't waking up so it's prob in my head lol. On a morning his room does feel really cold but his monitor says its 17-19 degrees which is normal isn't it? Would a fleece blanket over his quilt be too much?

ChasingSquirrels · 18/10/2007 22:51

ds1 only started sleeping UNDER his quilt age 4, and still doesn't in the summer. I stopped tucking him in when I went to bed sometime aroudn 3. he didn't start waking up cold. I think some people like to snuggle down under the covers, and others don't.

EachPeachPearMum · 18/10/2007 22:52

Hi Frizbe- very exciting venture! Glad all went well today- nice timing for christmas too BTW- I live in Brum, am not a Brummie Accent is pretty non-descript (I hope its not brummie anyhow )

CSWS- my previous nick was Lolcats (as in Lolcats) but loads of posters have 'cat' in their name, and I don't think many people got it TBH. We haven't been to the sealife centre yet, though we ought to as I'm sure dd would love it. There never seem to be enough hours in the day...

CP- Hi! Your ds is using a duvet already???
Was wondering whether to switch as dd is about to outgrow her grobags- BUT she is soooo wiggly at noght. Is always upside down, smushed against bars etc. Worry about her getting cold now the weather is changing (erm, well... getting chillier)

ChasingSquirrels · 18/10/2007 22:54

I have tried T with a duvet a few times - he tries to climb out of the cot, which he doesn't in his grobag, so now he has a thin grobag and a duvet - which he pulls up under his chin. Really need to put the cot down to the lowest level I guess...

EachPeachPearMum · 18/10/2007 22:58

Ah, yes, lowering the cot, we put it off for ages. But when she finally worked out how to pull herself up using the bars, we went for it- tis hard for me though as she has a huuuge cotbed, and I'm rather short shall we say.
She has never tried to climb out though, so we're quite about that.

CountessPHOENIXula · 18/10/2007 22:59

EPPM - I only tried the cot quilt on Tuesday night, he was excited about it first off but at 4.30am i was switching him back to his grobag cos he refused to lay back down with the quilt. He doesn't move around as much as he did in a grobag strangely but he does kick the quilt off still so he's got socks on as well as vest and pj's tonight.
