MMaveta, I would cool Ns room down (shut curtains and open window) for half an hour before you put him to bed and then shut the window when he goes to bed. It helps to keep the room temp fairly even through the night so that he doesn't get too hot.

Pesha, fingers crossed that the baby gaviscon helps.

DH and I have decided that we are going to change to cloth
The TT ones are on offer, the pack has 6 nappies, 2 wraps and a waffle bag for only £9!

I love my mother very much but she seems to be on a mission to feed my kids inappropriate food (remember the port trifle incident ) - she had dinner here last night (roast chicken, yum) and brought chocolate cake for pud. Next thing she practically launched herself at ds and tried to ram a spoonful in his mouth. I stopped her then bugger me if she tried again 5 minutes later.

What IS it with grandparents and the uncontrolable urge to feed babies with chocolate???? He's only been on solids for 3 days FFS.

I too am saddened that pillock isnt here. Different people have left the thread at different times, for a number of reasons. Some of these have been down to misunderstandings and differences of opinion. If someone chooses to take a break - I dont think it is a matter of being grown up or not.

i know - mil/ mums seem to want to see a chocolatey on the wee ones faces! mil tried the same last week and tied to dress it up as BLW - in that C had looked at it!

Luce - I'm not a cotton bottoms or mio fan as think the wraps are crap - prefolds are okay in a decent wrap like motherease rikkis. You would be better getting some birth to potty nappies imho if you want best value for money

Fluffles dry v.quickly Luce - any of the Bamboo-based stuff does - Tends to be a bit more pricey though.

liath - should try a version of MLF mummyledfeeding - if i look at something and want it - then i can have it....
