And on that note, time to wake DD for last feed! Daisy do you dream feed? What's the deal with it?

Basically don't wake them, but express some BM then wave your nip in her face. She should latch on and feed. I've only done it a few times. I find if I feed her now she wakes up in the middle of the night, but if I leave her she sleeps till morning. I liken it to me having a big meal late at night....I'm always hungrier in the morning if I do.

Have you tried just leaving her to see how long she will sleep rather than waking her up? she might surprise you and sleep through

I am back at work... after having driven here in fear, the fog is terrible down here!
Right I am back on a diet, all this sitting around on my arse and I have nearly put all the weight I lost back on. No more quiches and pork pies for me, it's fruit, healthy stuff or nothing!

Apparently there was a big article in yesterdays Daily Mail about 'bringing up baby' and the MN community...did anyone catch it?

daisy, i've thought of that but i'm too much of a wuss to risk waking up at 3am! plus as she is so small i'm not sure she could afford to miss the feed. it's works ok at the moment, but i just always feel so bad waking her, esp as she often doesn't go down till about 9pm, she is usually in a very deep sleep & complains, but is fine once she is feeding.

DS snuck into our bed at some god awful hr (he really squirms) and DD was crying at 2, 2:30, 4, 5, 6 (you get the picture). Just given her some trusting Calpol.

And I can't shake my cold/cough.

Having said that I know what it is like when you have something that works for you, I am anal about being home before 8pm so we can keep DS in his little routine.

Bump, sounds like a fab day. Now that DS is at a preschool for a few hours a week I am sorting out stuff to do with DD like baby massage and so on. I feel like she hasn't been taken to all the fun baby stuff so far as have DS too. Enjoy.
