totally understandable to want to watch over her. is she sleeping still in your bedroom? any chance you coudl take it in shifts with her. faling that - get the kettle on and try to take it easy. if she is poorly - you will need your energy later.

AloPesha · 30/09/2007 22:43

Sorry x posted. Glad she's sleeping now.

I'm being ordered to go to bed now by dp! Think he's right I am shattered.

Think Ellie will be home quite soon so Hi if you're reading this!

KHIN - was sure I'd said something about the w#@kers nicking your camera , but obviously not I would be absolutely gutted too but as everyones said more important you're ok than your photos. And glad the rest of the night went well for you

Hope Erin's ok nutty and that you and dh manage to get some sleep

nappynuttynormabutty · 30/09/2007 22:44

Thanks everyone. She is still asleep so fingers crossed that she isn't going to be sick anymore.

She's usually in the cot in our room but we've put her back in the moses basket down here and we'll take turns to sleep on the sofa I think. Tho dh is now saying he feels ill .

busywithIzzy · 30/09/2007 22:50

Oh no Nutty hope DH is ok. Don't blame you for wanting to keep watching her. Hope she's ok and settled now. xx

nappynuttynormabutty · 30/09/2007 22:50

Now dh is being sick.

nappynuttynormabutty · 01/10/2007 01:21

Dh has been sick again so have been cleaning it up and now have second load of puked on stuff in the washer .

Erin hasn't been sick again tho and is still asleep.

nappynuttynormabutty · 01/10/2007 06:18

Well I decided to go to bed at half 2, so asked dh to lift moses basket upstairs. That resulted in him being sick again. Then I laid awake for ages worrying. Then was finally dropping off when Erin started crying at 5.30 cos she was hungry. Dh insisted on getting her up...and he was sick again. So I got up and came and fed her. She took 3.5oz and was sick again. Changed her (DRY nappy) and gave her some water instead which so far she has kept down.

liath · 01/10/2007 06:44

Oh Nutty, what a horrible night. How does Erin seem just now? Will you be able to get a docs appointment this morning? Fingers crossed you don't get it too.

nappynuttynormabutty · 01/10/2007 07:07

She's asleep again. I should be able to get them a doc's appointment today (will just be snotty with the receptionist til she gives in ).

Eddas · 01/10/2007 07:30

hope e&dh are ok nutty

I had a shity night. DD decided she didn't want a nappy on at bedtime, I thought great i'll be up at stupid o'clock changing her bed. and oh what a suprise 1.45am and i'm up changing her bed. She still doesn't want a nappy but at 2.15ish she's calling me and now wants a nappy

Then ds decides at 3am that this is the time to be a pita for an hour gave up with dummy/trying to get him to sleep and came downstairs to give him a bottle. Then back to bed then he contines to be a pita for a bit then up a few more times for the dummy I AM SO F*IN TIRED Then to top it off dd wakes up and starts crying(still tired but wants to be awake) so she gets an airfull shut up or stay in bed

Think ds's problem came from being at MIL on sat night where she gave him bottles at 12(middnight) 3 and 6 think she was duped I have told him this will not be happening tonight not sure the message got through

Eddas · 01/10/2007 07:51

to top off my crap night i've just weighed myself and i'm the same as last week don't know why I bother

StealthPolarBear · 01/10/2007 08:14

Oh nutty sounds like you've all got a bug, well hopefully you don't get it too
Hope you manage to get them an appointment?

Eddas · 01/10/2007 08:16

OH NO! ds has just rolled from front to back, the slippery slope to moving has begun!

Who wants to guess how many of the babies will be walking by christmas Erm I guess 3, including my ds, I just know i'll be one of the 'lucky' ones

leakyR · 01/10/2007 08:19

Morning

Blimey you lot can chat! Think I'm caught up.

Norma - hope dh and Erin are doing better. Poorly husband OR poorly baby is enough to cope with, both must be awfully stressful

KHIN - at what happened after the gig. As everyone else has said, it's sad you've lost pics but better that you're unhurt.

SPB - hope T is over his sting, they can hurt. I got stung on finger last week - I picked up a bee thinking it was fluff on ils carpet (my usually well-hidden housewife tendencies getting me into trouble). Had my hand in a bowl of ice water for ages. Ouch.

Pinions - trying not to think about work in January. G will be going to Tadpoles on Kirkstall Rd.

On the weaning front G had a week of baby rice ages ago but I decided he wasn't quite ready. In the last 2 weeks he's had banana porridge in the morning but is still not too keen. Has also eaten sticks of cucumber 3 times(he likes the coldness) and by eaten I mean sucked and gummed and tried a slice of nectarine. He seems much keener on feeding himself so I think BLW might be the way to go. He's not 6 months for 2 weeks so I'm not rushing anything yet.

Sexonlegs · 01/10/2007 08:38

Morning all.

Nutty, what a pants night. Hope you are all ok soon.

Eddas, crap night for you too eh. Hope it is better tonight.

Elie, hope you got back ok.

Had a crappish night too. B woke at about 1.00 ish. Nowt wrong as such, but she just couldn't sleep so kept calling out for dh. He went in twice, then I went in. Thought I had cracked it as didn't hear from her for a while. Then she was crying out again. Gave her Medised in the end to get her to sleep (naughty mummy).

We all then overslept until 7.45! Thank God we are still on afternoons only at school. Tesco man may be here in 20 mins and am still in pj's. Need to get on!

Love to all. xx

StealthPolarBear · 01/10/2007 09:34

Just had some good news from work so MSNed DH and said "I have good news"
His reply was "Are you pregnant?"

nutty, did you get an appointment? How are they both now? If it's anything like the bug we had it was awful overnight and then gone pretty much the next day. You then spend a day feeling tired and not yourself and then back to normal - hope that's the case for you

nappynuttynormabutty · 01/10/2007 09:47

Well Erin doesn't seem too bad, tho not keen on milk atm. Dh still feeling ill. Have managed to get a doc to come out to see them (don't think dh is fit to drive tbh) but they couldn't say when he'd be here .

AloPesha · 01/10/2007 10:00

Nutty - hope dh and erin are ok now and you are too.

SPB - lol at are you pg!

Eddas - you have totally freaked me out by saying they might walking by xmas!! It didnt seem possible but have just realised they will be nearly 10 months some of them by then and ds1 was walking at 10 months. Although ds2 seems much more laid back so can't see he will be. Think it would look a little strange if he was cos he's much too small! Cruising normally starts around 6 months too doesnt it, OMG! D is still so small I think I'm not realising how much they're all growing up iyswim.

DP is off work atm, he has a bad knee with no cartilage, very little of his cruciate ligament left and 3 knee caps - knee of a 90 year old apparently. Anyway 90year old knees shouldn't really be playing football and he's now in agony and can hardly walk and dont think he can drive. He had an operation on it a few years ago to remove the cartilage and has been waiting for the ligament to 'go' ever so since before they'll operate on that too. And it seems like now it has. So on bad side it means he cant do nearly so much to help, cant carry kids, do shopping with me, driving etc but on plus side he could be off work for a few months and will get to see alot more of dc, especially D while he's a baby which will be nice for them both. And he'll probably be off football for a year so we'll have saturdays with him which'll be a first!! But you may have to put up with alot more moaning from me if he's going to be here all the time. I love him, but not that much!! We are getting on ALOT better just lately though (possibly to do with my hormone levels settling?! ) so shouldn't be too bad

runnyhabbit · 01/10/2007 10:02

Nutty - I hope dh and e are feeling better soon. I feel like crap this morning. TMI alert - cannot stop pooing (sorry if you're eating breakfast)

Khin - What an $&^@'!"**

Mammyjo - it was lovely meeting the rest of your family - ds is a cutie (and now dh believes that MN is really made up of real people)

SPB - pmsl at dh is he trying to tell you something?

Emailed boss last night so hoping to get a reply in the next few days. Am seriously considering looking for another job...

W has woken up and is looking hungry - best go and feed him

Take care all
x

AloPesha · 01/10/2007 10:02

Sexonlegs · 01/10/2007 10:41

Runny by name.......

Sorry couldn't resist that one. !! Hope you are feeling better soon.

Seems to the time of the year for bugs etc.

All ok here. Still awaiting Tesco man. K whingy as hell. Think the phone woke her up from her brief nap.

SPB, sounds like you could be a mummy of 2 sooner than you planned judging by your dh's reaction!!

I am BORED!!!!!

Sexonlegs · 01/10/2007 10:44

Morning Dippy x posted with you. We share the same sense of humour then!! Hope you are ok.

Don't think K will be on the move that soon. She does like trying to sit up by pulling on her baby gym though, and then gets well peed off cos she can't!
